This was a phenomenal day. We got a rich sense of Lima’s history and different neighborhoods. We ate well, and we had fun. Our guide Jovanna was 11/10. Her English was impeccable, she was very knowledgeable and she had a great energy. If you’re here in Lima for a day or a week, this is a must do tour.

Unforgettable experience acquired in so little time of Lima. I have contracted with Viator before but this was by far the best. the tour guide Contraras Cesar took us on a tour of the food market. served gourmet lunch, took us through the mysterious catacombs, the Love Park, beautiful beaches and told us many quality personal stories wrt living in the area. I even practiced the local language with him.. through his stories I was able to get the perspective of a local in very short time. Traffic was very challenging and the driver was able to get us to many places in that time with patience. highly recommend for anyone passing through Lima on a limited cruise ship schedule or on their way to other parts of Peru.

This was an amazing day tour with Erwin as our guide. Lunch was included in a restaurant that overlooked the main historic plaza . We saw and learned so much with our guide including a taste of local fruits at a market and ice cream at Barranco. Jus amazing!

My husband and I were only in Lima for 1 full day before joining our cruise. We did a lot of research to make the most of our time and this trip did not disappoint. Our tour guide and driver were at our hotel 10 minutes before to greet us, introduced us and were so friendly from the offset. The trip was well organised and interesting. They really do ensure you get to see all of the main points in Lima. The generosity cannot be beaten, a beautiful two-course meal freshly prepared (which is so tasty) and then you go to the market to try their fresh fruit. Our tour guide was Cesar and he was phenomenal. So informative, funny and accommodating. Our driver was Julio, he was just as kind and friendly. This trip cannot be beaten and we are so glad we booked it. A huge thank you to Cesar and Julio again!

Truly excellent tour

This tour has a lot of 5 star reviews and I was doubtful. But it’s true, this tour is AMAZING. I have a short time in Lima and wanted to see as much of the city as possible. The tour guide was friendly, authentic and deeply knowledgable on both history, society and culture. We asked a lot of questions and there was nothing that Silvana didn’t know. She was not using a script. She understands and loves her country very much and that passion and excellence shines through on the tour. We used super comfortable air confirmed mini/busses. Our group was fairly tall and we had no problems in the vehicle. One guy had a cane and he was able to do the walking tour and get into the bus with ease. The lunch was just amazing. Every part of it was super yummy. There are other day tours but this one truly covers the breadth of the city. Take this tour, you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic tour of Lima

Fabulous tour of Lima. Visiting so many sights and finishing off with an amazing view of the city from a lookout point. Our guide Cesar was informative and fun, he made the trip a truly memorable experience. We only had one day in Lima and we saw the historic part of the city including a tour of the catacombs under the convent of San Francisco. We had a pisco sour tasting, visited a local market and tasted some of the exotic fruits, had ice cream in the Barranco area and visited an art gallery. Lunch was provided in a super local restaurant in the Miraflores area where we visited the love park. Cannot recommend this tour and our guide Cesar enough

Excellent City Overview

This was a very nice introduction to the city of Lima and various neighborhoods. I’m staying in Miraflores for a few weeks and wanted to get an overview of some of the main attractions before getting formally settled in. I met the tour operator at their office, about 10 minute walk from my airBNB. The transportation was comfortable and the guide was very attentive to the needs of everyone in the party. We saw several of the main sites in downtown Lima, visited the catacombs, a farmers market where we tried various local fruits, had lunch (included) in Miraflores, visited the art district of Barranco and a Christ the Redeemer statue in that region. Overall, a very comprehensive city tour for those spending a few days and wanting to hit the main attractions with the aid of a guide and private transportation.

A Tale of Two Cities

The tour is a “Tale of 2 Cities”. In the morning, we toured all the historical sites, including the Saint Francis Catacombs. That was fascinating. Then lunch at the Haku Tours Cooking School. That was also a highlight. The afternoon was followed up with a tour of the Miraflores and Baranco districts, then a trip to the top of the mountain for a great view of the City of Lima. Leonardo was great in explaining everything. He made sure we understood the culture and history of the area and the buildings. Our driver was awesome he would be able to navigate a tour bus thru New York City rush hour. In fact, NYC drivers don’t hold a candle to the chaos that is Lima streets. It seems there are no driving rules in Lima so it’s survival of the fittest……..and that made it a fun ride.

A Tour With A View

A very pleasant tour with a congenial small group - me, another solo tourist, and a couple from the UK. The guide (Cesar) and the driver (Cirolo) were excellent. The guide is very knowledgeable and articulate. We started in the historic center - Plaza San Martin, a walk down Jiron del la Union to Plaza Mayor, culminating in the catacombs of San Francesco. We then went back to Miraflores and had a home-cooked lunch at the facilities of the tour company which includes a large professional kitchen and dining areas for cooking classes. In the afternoon we had 4 activities: (1) a visit to a large mercado to sample exotic fruits; (2) a stroll along the cliffs of Miraflores overlooking the Pacific Ocean; (3) a stop in the Barranco district to view the artsy scene there; and (4) best of all, a stop in the Chorrillos district for a spectacular view of Lima on a unusually sonny and non-foggy day.

WOW what an amazing tour! Our guide Maverick was super knowledgeable, personable, and kind. We had such a great time learning from him, a perfect mix of modern and historic information on this tour. Our driver Marcus was also fantastic and timely. It’s a “hop in hop out” tour, since you go so many places. Every time we needed to get into the shuttle, there Marcus was, ready for us.
