Talk to the staff they are very helpful. The stops were at main areas of interest. To get back on the bus. The staff look for the wrist bands and made sure we got on the bus safely. Lots of traffic.

Disappointing in Every Way

I am shocked to read so many positive reviews for this service because for me this experience had so many problems it’s hard to know where to begin. It started out well enough. I easily found the kiosk to change my voucher for my ticket. The next bus was scheduled to stop at 11:20, and when I asked if it would stop”here” meaning by the kiosk, the agent told me yes. 11:20 came and went with no bus in sight. Then she explained that the bus would actually stop about half a block down the street and I had missed it, so I had to wait until 12:15. The Viator site indicates that there are three routes, and there were only two routes. The schedule was nearly indecipherable as to pick-up times and destinations at each location. Some buses go to some places at certain times and to other places at different times, although there were no markings on the buses to indicate which buses did which ones. I very specifically asked the tour guide on the bus which buses and times to take to see the places I wanted and to get back to my starting point. After I got on the last bus for the trip back, the guide on that bus told me that it did not go back to my stop at all. I had to get off at a different stop and walk back to my hotel. Fortunately, it was only about a 20-minute walk, but it was not the stop I had specifically been told I would be taken to. The bus also did not have audio guides, although one portion of the ride did include a live guide in both Spanish and English. Most of the driving was in very unpleasant, heavy, noisy city traffic, and went through a lot of areas that were not of interest. That is not the tour company’s fault, but people may want to know that the routes will not include much in the way of scenic drives through the city. Viator says there is wi-fi on the bus. There is not. The tour guide wanted everyone to log in to a private group on WhatsApp. Overall, the day was an unpleasant experience. My advice is to decide which sites in the city you want to see and to take an Uber or taxi to each. It will be time and money better spent than what this hop on/hop off bus cost me in time, money, and aggravation.
