Learn all about the city as you explore landmark-thronged squares like Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza dei Signori. See Juliet’s House (Casa di Giulietta) with its famous balcony, and hear fun facts about the house that’s dedicated to Shakespeare’s iconic love story.
See the Ponte Pietra, and admire Verona’s vast Roman amphitheater that’s known simply as the Arena. The stadium is thought to have seated around 30,000 spectators in its heyday.

A very good experience. The host Alex was very personable and knowledgeable about the history of Verona and Lake Garda. He kept it interesting throughout. The same with our hostess in Verona who was also very impressive. Thank you.
The driver managed to keep everyone calm driving some of the most challenging roads I have ever seen, including some of the tightest tunnels ever!
If you are holidaying in Lake Garda then go see Verona and use this tour operator.
This was reasonably well organised tour overall. A gathering point meeting under a blazing sun when there was an area in shadow 30 yards away was not helpful. Also the time for departure from this point to return to the coach was not very clear from the guide
Great trip. Friendly driver and guide. Verona is well worth the visit. Be prepared to walk! There’s so much to see.
Verona is a beautiful city but being guided through the main highlights was useful. Plus there is free time you explore the bits thst appeal
It’s a good day out and historically interesting I would recommend you go but there should be a little more free time because by the time you have visited one attraction (ie the arena) and taken the guided tour it leaves you with little time to to do much else , but this is only a minor detail because the tour is optional.
Picked up in Garda at 9am for the one hour drive to Verona
Our guide Thomas explained the day in English and German suggesting places to visit during our free time
We walked together as a group to the square outside the Arena and then had over 2 hours to explore on our own
We met back at 1pm for our guide to take us on a walking tour round various sights for around 75/80 minutes - our female guide was very informative but apologies as I have forgotten her name
We then had till 4pm to explore on our own again before heading back to our coach
We arrived back in Garda just before 5pm after an enjoyable and informative day in Verona
Verona is a beautiful city, well worth exploring especially the amazing Roman Arena. Lots of amazing architecture and fascinating buildings.
Exactly what we have come to expect from Viator. Value for money, knowledgable guides and everything as promised. Verona was a great experience with plenty to see and do.
Francesco was our tour guide for a day trip to Verona. Cheerful throughout and knowledgeable. He organised the trip but split the group in Verona and we were given the tour by a lovely Ukrainian lady who was great. The whole day went very well and Verona is a lovely city though very busy. Still possible to find quiet street cafes to while away a half hour. Overall recommend this trip .
We had a relaxing and informative time in Verona. A great way to visit Verona. We are glad this option exists and we did not have to drive.

Generally a good experience and one I would recommend. However, it would have been useful to have the guided tour start on arrival in Verona as it would have given us a good start to explore on our own whereas we spent the first half an hour wandering around without a focus.

The tour guide picked us up from the pick up point on time, so professional. He talked to us all in English and German, he was extremely entertaining on the way there and gave us loads of info. Verona is so beautiful and well worth a visit, the tour guide told us all we needed to know and interesting facts as we went around the city. The journey home was one of the most beautiful things i’ve ever seen. We were staying in lake garda (limone) it was an amazing chance to see the other side of the mountains, me and my partner cannot believe how amazing it is. So worth it.
Verona is very beautiful but heaving with tourists. You arrive at 10.30 and then have around 2 and half hours of your own time before the tour. The tour lasts an hour and everything they show you you can see yourself in the free time beforehand. Please also note that the meeting point given on the trip to be collected in Torbole isn't actually the meeting point
Perfectly organised. Takes away all the stress of finding the attractions. You can relax and take everything in and Verona is the place to do just that. Amazing.
Great day out, guide was very funny and informative. We were dropped off around 10am for some free time first then the walking tour started at 1pm for about an hour.
Coach was comfortable and properly air conditioned which was very welcome after a day of 35°C round Verona!
Could have done this cheaper going on the local bus from Bardolino but we had a much more positive experience going on an organised trip (and having experienced the local bus service, personally the less time spent on it the better!)
This was our second bus tour with the company to Verona from Lake Garda. It was incredible! Tomàs was funny, helpful, honest, and knowledgeable. We learned so much about the city and were able to fully enjoy it without having to stress about transportation.
Verona is a beautiful city and well worth visiting, even though it was unusually very hot (35°C+) and humid. Our tour guide, Alessandro, was very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable, and certainly helped to make it a thoroughly enjoyable trip. It is a shame that the rules mean that he had to hand over to a local guide for the included walking tour of the old part of the city, a I'm sure he would have done a first class job! As it was, the guide we did get was OK but did appear to be 'going through the motions' a little. To be fair, though, it was unbelievably hot, and so I can understand why it was difficult for him to be over-enthusiastic.
Superb trip. Alex ( and giovanni the driver ) were simply amazing. Alex is the best tour guide in years of travelling. He knows the area so well. Can’t praise the trip highly enough. Verona is a great city. We will def return

The coach spent Too much time picking up and dropping off people which took 3 hours meaning only 5 hours in verona.
Easy, on time pick-up, amusing guide on the way, great organisation in Verona and for the return. If you’re on Lake Garda and want a good, hassle free trip to a beautiful city, this tour is recommended.
Verona is a beautiful city with significant Roman ruins and of course, a possible link to Shakespeare. Not happy with the main guide who criticized us for being late to the group when in fact we were earlier than the agreed meet time. Very poor effort by a professional guide!!
