What are people saying about Verona

Excellent tour of old Verona
Guide was truly an expert. Hit all the major points at a reasonable pace. The arena is a bit of a disappointment as it’s set up for a concert/opera. You lose all of the ancient feel from the inside. My opinion is that Juliet’s home is unnecessary and could easily have been avoided.

Fantastic day out, excellent guide, great wineries and good tastings
Fabulous day out visiting 2 wineries, the guide (Sarah) was really knowledgeable regarding the wine process and gave us great insight en route to the wineries.
The both wineries were family owned and both very different, as the weather was incredible hot we didn’t walk round the vines but the detail given on growing was excellent.
I had a truly great day out and as there was only 3 of up it was almost a private tour.
I now can’t wait for the wines I purchased to be shipped!!

Beautiful day out
Tour was well organised. It was great to go to 2 places on Lake Garda as well as taking the optional grotto tour. The grotto tour only lasted about an hour, but was really interesting with stunning views. You get chance to walk down to Jamaica Beach too. It was a nice insight into our first Lake Garda trip

Great experience!
Eugenio is a great guide! We were a group of ten and everyone was able to hear and be engaged. He has great knowledge of the history and pointed out so many interesting spots! He was patient (we stopped a couple of times to get pizza and gelato) and he later suggested a great place for dinner too. Overall a great experience!

Food and Wine Tour
As it turned out, we had a private tour with Romina and enjoyed it very much. She is very knowledgeable about Verona, the history, architecture, food and wine. We especially enjoyed the risotto, wine tasting and true gelato. We highly recommend this tour.

Stunning views and wine 🍷
We had an amazing time at the vineyard. Before we went I was contacted asking if we needed help with transport, which we did, and it was all arranged for us (at our cost).
The setting was absolutely stunning. We spent some time in the vines learning all about the grapes, climate and processes before we went to the wine garden for the tasting. I LOVE Italian wine and this did not disappoint. We were given snacks (which we needed!) to accompany the tasting that were delicious. It was relaxed, fun, informative and a really great way to spend 3-4 hours if you’re in the Verona area. Massive thanks to Ilaria for making us so welcome.

Perfect afternoon at the Dolce Vera winery!
Wonderful few hours! Our guide (Anna) was really lovely, bright, interesting and easy to understand. The time at the winery was extremely educational. Our host was gracious and knowlegable. It was great having an opportunity to try some delicious wines and send some home! I highly recommend this experience

This was a great...
This was a great experience. You travel in comfort in an air conditioned van to 2 wineries. After touring each one, you have a tasting of 5 wines accompanied by meats and cheeses. The tour guide and the winery reps are friendly and knowledgeable. The settings are beautiful and it’s just a great way to spend an afternoon.

Comprehensive tour of Verona
Wonderful tour with great food and wine. Highlights of the history of Verona. Very small amount of people was great. Only thing people need to be aware of is that the funicular ticket takes you only up but we had to pay to come down and out. Our tour guide was great - Aurora.

Don’t miss this cooking class. 10/10!
I chose this class because it covered pasta making, risotto and tiramisu. Alberto was our instructor. I think my family has decided to adopt him should he ever move to America. He is super knowledgeable about Italian regions and ingredients and an absolute wizard of a chef. He turns such simple ingredients into culinary perfection. Our group was two 19 year olds, their parents and grandpa. Everyone arrived with different skill levels in the kitchen and even the most novice among us could follow Alberto’s instructions. The tiramisu was delicious and not too hard to make. This was my first time making pasta and it was so easy. I have made a lot of risotto but I learned so much in this class that I am certain I can up my game back home. 10/10 I would absolutely recommend!

Travel Through the Amazing History of Verona
We had a very good tour of the city of Verona. We had a small group of people and a very good guide. Our guide, Frank, was very knowledgeable and full of good humour. The history of Verona spans more than two thousand years and there are sites to see from every period of its history. The coliseum is in amazing condition and is a wonder you shouldn't miss. This tour is well worth the time and money, and I encourage everyone to go on this tour.

Beautiful Wine and Beautiful Winery!
My husband and I had a great time on this tour and it was so peaceful being above the city drinking wine. The staff even prepared us an amazing vegan snack that we LOVED!
After the tasting we got to explore the winery and the beautiful landscape, which made it even more special! Would definitely recommend this to anyone!
