We visited 2 vineyards - large commercial (Farina) and small family estate (Corte Badin - Bonazzi Viticoltori). Tasting experience Ten out of Ten. Great combinations of fine Ripasso and Amarone wines. Host at each very knowledgeable and welcoming. Seen all stages of production from grape on vine to bottle. Six wines at first, four at second. Wonderful history of smaller estate told through documents and small museum.

What an absolutely...

What an absolutely fantastic experience! If you’re visiting Verona, I would highly recommend booking this cooking class — it was one of the highlights of our trip. We had so much fun learning how to make authentic Italian pasta and tiramisu from scratch. The whole experience was relaxed, friendly and incredibly enjoyable. We were guided through everything step by step, with plenty of tips, laughs and, of course, lots of tasting along the way! Making the pasta ourselves was a real highlight, but the tiramisu was something else — learning how to make it properly in Italy and then getting to enjoy the finished result was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was brilliant, and the instructors were knowledgeable, welcoming and passionate about Italian food. It didn’t feel like simply a cooking lesson; it felt like spending time with people who genuinely love sharing their food and culture. We left with full stomachs, new cooking skills and some fantastic memories of Verona. 🇮🇹❤️

Phenomenal setting, overlooking Verona. We travelled to the winery by taxi from our hotel in central Verona, it was less than 20 euros each way. The tour itself was hosted by a very knowledgeable person, who made us feel welcome. The tasting was conducted on a beautiful terrace and comenced with a refreshing Procesco type wine, followed by four progressively complex reds. The tasting included a platter of local cheeses, cold cuts and vegetables complimenting the wines perfectly. Would highly recommend.

We truly hit the jackpot with this tour. Our guide was the wonderful Eugenio. His stories will walk you through history from Roman times to meeting the Metallica band in a bar after their concert in the Verona Arena. If Eugenio was your history teacher in high school you would no doubt be a lover of history today - deep in the details yet supremely amusing. Don't miss this experience!

Ilaria and team were the most gracious hosts to my friends and me. We decided to book a tour during the heatwave a couple of weeks ago and hoped to escape to a little cooler weather. They gave us a tour, which included learning the history of the winemakers in the region as well as their own property. We stayed much longer than expected as we were really enjoying getting to know everyone, and we enjoyed the wine so very much! Fully recommend this tour to see a bit of a different side of Verona and explore outside the city. I If we make our way to Verona again, I know we will be back to visit this beautiful location.

Fantastic day out, excellent guide, great wineries and good tastings

Fabulous day out visiting 2 wineries, the guide (Sarah) was really knowledgeable regarding the wine process and gave us great insight en route to the wineries. The both wineries were family owned and both very different, as the weather was incredible hot we didn’t walk round the vines but the detail given on growing was excellent. I had a truly great day out and as there was only 3 of up it was almost a private tour. I now can’t wait for the wines I purchased to be shipped!!

Travel Through the Amazing History of Verona

We had a very good tour of the city of Verona. We had a small group of people and a very good guide. Our guide, Frank, was very knowledgeable and full of good humour. The history of Verona spans more than two thousand years and there are sites to see from every period of its history. The coliseum is in amazing condition and is a wonder you shouldn't miss. This tour is well worth the time and money, and I encourage everyone to go on this tour.
