Inspired by the real recipes of my grandmother, Avó Lurdes, this class celebrates Portuguese home cooking and family traditions. One of the highlights is her famous chocolate salami, made using the original handwritten recipe that you can see framed in our kitchen. Guests cook traditional Portuguese dishes together, enjoy Portuguese wine, and share the meal around the table — just like a Portuguese family would. It’s a relaxed, fun experience where you’ll learn recipes you can easily recreate at home while discovering the flavors and stories behind Portuguese cuisine.

Skip the cliché boat ride to Benagil Cave and swim there instead. Offering more than the standard sail-by experience, this is one of the only tours that takes you right inside the cave. After a quick transfer by van, you’ll swim along the coast and head into the cave to feel the sand between your toes. Fun guides, lunch, drinks, and music complete the experience.
