Fab experience that’s lots of fun

This was so much fun. The captain Pedro and his ship mate Paulo deserve a special mention as does Shelley who organises the tour. Was a lovely traditional Portuguese sailing boat that didn’t take long to get to - say around 35-40 minutes. There is a toilet in board and two dogs who used to be strays who were wonderful! Tyson loved to bark at the waves to protect us but Mike was happier just watching the world go by. Alvor itself is stunning. A bit more untouched than other parts of the Algarve. It was lovely especially if you like fish! On the boat back we were offered unlimited sangria and I mean unlimited as there was only four of us and we are Scottish!!! Great trip with great people. I didn’t want to say goodbye to the dogs (especially Tyson who loved a bum rub) or the boys. Fabulous! Great way to also check out Alvor. Thanks so much! Great experience

Great day despite a rocky start.

Fabulous day trip!! It is an old style Portuguese sailing vessel. They cruised us around Lagos and pointed out some great sights then turned the boat towards Alvor. We had a couple hours once we got there to grab some lunch and explore the town. Pedro and his crew were really great! Very friendly and knowledgeable! The only problem we had was that the meeting place was not where the Viator listing said. Apparently, there was a glitch. You needed to go into the Marina. We asked a few people and they were able to direct us where to go. As we drew closer, Capt. Pedro was out looking for us! Even though we were late getting there, they waited for us! Despite the rocky start, it was a wonderful trip!!

The full trip was amazing, we spent a lovely time with the guys and the dog on the boat. The guys was kind, funny and talktive, we could play our music as well. So the full trip had a really good vibe.
