Easy walk with a little bit uphill. Scenery was beautiful. Guide was great but others in our group were very time consuming for the guide and were very slow to move through the walk. Group should have been split into two. Overall really loved the park and the tour.

It was a great experience, we saw a sloth, snake and some birds. Our guide was knowledgeable, however I would recommend going in the morning to enjoy more wildlife

The tour was well organized and our guide was very nice. We went in the morning on a sunny day and had hoped to see a lot of wildlife, but really didn’t see much. Most of what we did see (bats, an owl, a snake, ants, tarantula, a frog) was through the telescope of the guide. There are 6 hanging bridges but one was closed, so we had to take a detour. Overall it was a nice activity but be prepared to not see much other than vegetation and a waterfall. There are also nice views from the bridges. We were given snacks on the bus after the tour and there were nice clean restrooms for use before and after.

BEWARE!!!!! DONT GET SCAMMED HERE!!! BEWARE ECOterra CR. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS CONPANY! It costs $32 to buy tickets at Místico Park to enter the hanging bridges and children under 10 are FREE. This company did not make it clear that this was a guided tour, though I only thought I was booking tickets. Did not make it clear even after I spoke with the agent about the tickets and told them that I did not want a guide nor did I need a ride to the bridges. When I arrived at Mistico Park I was told the TRUE PRICE of the hanging bridges. When I realized this I asked the company to refund me for the difference and they refused though I didn't use their guide, their transport service, or any of the resources they would've used had I booked a guided tour. I feel like I was misled, lied to, and then OVERCHARGED!!! They charged me $42 per child when the children get in FREE. DONT GET SCAMMED! Just buy your tickets at Místico Park directly, unless you want a guided tour to walk straight through a park trail where there is no need for a guide.

We deeply regret this negative review and would like to clarify what happened.
The service you booked with us was not just an entrance ticket but a complete tour package that included transportation from your hotel, a professional tour guide, bottled water, a fruit and cookie snack, animal observation equipment, among other things. All of these services have significant operational costs that influence the final price.
It's also important to clarify that it was your decision, just minutes before the tour, to inform us that you did not require the transportation service. In response, we immediately sent the guide to assist you on the walk, but at that point, you again declined the guide service, stating that you didn’t want it and that just having the entrance tickets was sufficient for you.
From our side, we provided everything that was promised, and despite our insistence that you take advantage of everything included in your booking, it was ultimately your last-minute decision not to use our services.

Aron and his team have a great tour of the mystic park hanging bridges. Saw an anteater, howler monkey, eyelash pit vipers, owls, and much more. He was so informative.

Incredible experience! The monkeys climbing on the ropes of the bridge as we passed was awesome! Our guide Andres was patient and knowledgeable. One section has pretty steep incline but other than that it’s easy to walk. Highly recommend!

Excellent guide! Harvin was very knowledgeable and friendly. The driver did a good job on the curving roads and fixed a delicious snack of fruit and cookies afterwards.
We saw a variety of wildlife with Harvin helped us view with his scope. The only downsides were that the walk was not very long and the entire trail is concrete.

This was our first excursion in Arenal and it was truly memorable. Our tour guide was really knowledgeable and showed us many interesting creatures and animals during our hike in the forest. We were so lucky that the weather held out and this was a memorable experience through a private rainforest. I highly recommend this trip for a neat way to see some of the local nature in Costa Rica. Thanks for a great time!

The trip was amazing and the guides were perfect.
Only problem was I got an email the day before saying to move to the am tour or pay extra.
Was fine to move to the am tour but a bit more notice would have helped as I didn't have internet to receive the message until even later.

My hotel pickup was on schedule, and I was greeted by my guide, Jasmine. We had a small group of 5, and the tour was fantastic. I was solo and very nervous, and I really appreciate that an effort was made to ensure I was comfortable. We saw several animals, the walk was beautiful, and the bridges were slightly terrifying (but in a good way!) and a lot of fun. I highly recommend this tour!

Very knowledgeable and informative guide Minor took us through Místico Hanging Bridges and we saw so much wildlife because he pointed them out otherwise we would never have spotted them. We saw snakes, birds, a coati up close, frogs, a lizard, tarantula and roach in their holes and a micro bat. Easy 2 hour walk

Great experience! Alejandro was our tour guide and he took us on a great adventure. If you like to hike or willing to push yourself to do this endurance activity I suggest you do It. Don’t be scared take the risk because the views and fun is worth it! He is so knowledgeable and so nice ! They make sure you are following COVID protocols and they provided transportation to come get us to and from our Airbnb.

Such a wonderful, lush, alive forest! I overcame my fear of swinging bridges over deep ravines to have this experience and I am very glad I did. The animals and vegetation were spectacular and our guide was fabulous in spotting wildlife of interest and helping us get great photos.

Our tour guide for our Hanging Bridges tour was excellent. He was very dynamic and enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge about the rain forest we were walking through. Having a guide is a very different experience from walking through the forest on your own. He explained so many details about the various trees, visitors could not possibly have gathered the information on their own. It was very fascinating. It was also very interesting walking along the various suspension bridges across the very deep gullies. Some were longer and swayed more than others and some relatively short. They provided a beautiful view of the forest. Though the walk was not especially challenging, it did require some endurance as there was a certain amount of climbing and descending along the paths. Though we encountered other visitors to the park, it was not crowded. Our guide carried a laser pointer which helped us locate what he was trying to bring to our attention when it was at a greater distance. Probably the highlight was seeing the large grouping of spider monkeys high in the canopy, swinging from tree to tree. Some were moms with babies hanging on for dear life! They were a beautiful rust colour. We watched them for some time. We also learned about insects, particularly cutter ants and their different functions. Some very interesting information was also provided on the symbiotic relationships between some birds and trees. All very interesting. At the culmination of our tour, we were offered watermelon, pineapple and biscuits before heading home. All was excellent and an unexpected treat. All in all, an excellent day.

We had a wonderful time on this tour! Our guide was Andres and he was fantastic!! We signed up for the group tour but unexpectedly got our own private tour. Andres was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He helped us take several great pictures. I would most definitely recommend this tour!!!

This was amazing! Our tour guide Miriljana was awesome...she pointed out things we would never have found or seen. Crossing the bridges was a little scary at first, but after a while, the view was more important than trying not to look down. Highly recommended. Our guide was through EcoTerra tours.

Ponts suspendus effectivement spectaculaires et guide sympa. Un peu décevant pour la faune même si c'était bien de voir deux singes (mais très haut dans les arbres) pour la première fois au Costa Rica.
