What To Expect

Start your tour with pickup from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and discuss the day’s menu with your guide before setting off to the local market to shop for fresh ingredients. Soak up the atmosphere of Hanoi’s bustling markets as you browse the stalls and listen as your guide points out local specialties, traditional herbs, and exotic fruits.

After purchasing all the ingredients needed, head to the cooking school to begin your cooking class. Set to work chopping the vegetables, blending the sauces, and preparing the herbs and spices, and pick up plenty of tips and techniques unique to Vietnamese cuisine.

Finally, sit down to feast on your homemade lunch or dinner, and sample an array of traditional dishes from Northern Vietnam.
