This an excellent tour that I was fortunate to have Peter as a guide. Peter, an English teacher, enlightened me to the history of Vietnam. Without this tour it would have been impossible for me to see and learn so much.

Great afternoon spent in Hanoi - tour guide James was very professional, polite, knowledgeable and accommodating with extra requests, nothing was too much trouble for him... he even got us back to train street in time for the most memorable experience and introduced us to egg coffee and coconut coffee smoothie - highly recommend this private tour, our guide, the sites and the beverages!

Excellent tour of Hanoi. Our guide, Lucky, was very friendly, personable, knowledgeable and kept the itinerary flexible to suit our needs. His English was excellent. The vehicle was comfortable and impeccably clean.
The places visited on the tour were definitely worth visiting. Train Street was quite an experience.

We were lucky, it was not raining and we had a wonderful tour guide.

Travelled with elderly parent who is pretty mobile but didn’t want there to be excessive walking in the heat. Peter our guide did an excellent job, very knowledgeable and flexible with what we wanted to see. Definitely a great educational way to learn more about Hanoi. Highly recommended.

Our tour guide was Max and he was wonderful - showing us around the highlights of Hanoi and explaining the history of the city, the country and the places we visited.
We had a fun morning and enjoyed spending time with him.
We had a great driver who made it easy for us to see lots of places in one morning and to jump in and out of an air conditioned car.
The prison was fascinating albeit horrific to learn about the last of the building.
We saw beautiful art, temples, had a drink in grain street while the train past by and visited the huge market.
Max is lovely and we would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

We did the Hanoi City Tour: Private Half-day Customised with Train Street.
It was fantastic. Peter our guide spoke excellent English and was incredibly knowledgeable, providing us with real insight to the attractions as well as some personal stories that added context. He was most helpful and considerate as it was a particularly warm day. The Hoa Lo Prison was a fascinating look into the past. Train Street was a truly awesome experience, we had front row seats and the Iced Coconut coffee (Peter’s suggestion) was absolutely delicious. St Joseph’s Cathedral, Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum and Pagodas were all impressive sights. The driver of our car was very professional and took good care of us, and the air conditioning certainly appreciated. This tour was one of the best highlights of our Vietnam holiday and we very highly recommend Peter and his tour. Thank you very much indeed, Tim & Sue Kotlar

A great trip, picked up from our hotel by a local guide Tom whose energy and enthusiasm was infectious! Tom was very knowledgeable about Hanoi and showed much passion for his country. Nothing was too much trouble and he adapted the tour to suit us. Would highly recommend the tour to see some of the highlights and to learn how to cross the road with someone in the know!! Great value! Time well spent. I was lucky enough to get Tom as my tour guide. He was able to provide in depth information about each site we visited. I was provided lessons on history, culture, customs and religion that enhanced my understanding of the interesting places on my tour. Having Tom on my journey gave me the deep richness I look forward to in my travels. He was also very kind and considerate. He made sure I was safe and comfortable throughout the entire afternoon. First class air conditioned transportation was a bonus. Don’t hesitate! You won’t be disappointed!!!

The tour was great and very informative. Too many information that I can’t remember all. I learned a lot about Vietnam history especially at the prison. The tour guide, Finn, is great. We are Deaf. He took his time explaining to us via our phones. I highly recommended this tour.

This was a fantastic mix of cultural highlights and cool spots in Hanoi. We covered a lot in 4/5 hours but it was never rushed. Pete was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. We had a private driver but never spent too much time in the car to maximise time at the attractions

Nick was an amazing guide and such an awesome person! This was our first time in Vietnam and we wanted to get an idea of Hanoi and the culture, and this did not disappoint. The private tour was 100% worth it. We had our 4 yo and 8 yo with us, so making sure we could stop and go as we pleased was great. Nick was wonderful with the kids and made sure we were all taken care of. You get the best of both worlds (old and new) with this tour, and we would recommend it to anyone!

We Visited some of the cities top attractions on this relaxed tour. Nowhere was rushed and being in and out of an air-condioned car was a welcome addition!!!! Our fav parts were the famous Train street and the prison. Keep up the good work Tom, can tell how proud you are of your heritage x

This tour is customizable and allows for seeing alot of the main sights in Hanoi. Having a driver to get there safe and timely and Our guide Finn, was awesome! Finn was very kind, funny and professional. Knowledgeable about SO many aspects of the city. Very well educated in his craft.

This was a smooth, comfortable experience. We traveled to locations in a private air conditioned vehicle. We were provided premium seating at the train photo op. Peter is an absolute treasure trove of information. He speaks English clearly since he studied English in university and also is employed as an English teacher. He also is a history buff.
