Quite a long day with quite a lot of walking on uneven surfaces. A great day out and we'll worth the money. Minh the guide was absolutely brilliant with lots of knowledge about the area.

Solid trip
Great day trip. Minh was from the local area, near the Pagoda, and very knowledgeable. The boat ride was fun! Lunch was great and had tons of food and choices. We hiked to the top and visited the cave. Great to sweat a little after sitting most of the day. It’s a long trip with some slow parts but worth it to see the pagoda and cave.

Great excursion
Ming was a great guide! It is a long excursion. Bus ride, boat ride (hour each way) but the Perfume Pagoda is a wonder!

Interesting tour, a lot of walking
Great tour. A lot of walking up and steps. Beautiful scenery. Tour guide Minh was really nice. He’s from the village, so he’s very knowledgeable about the history and 3 months festival that takes place there.

different as expected
beware to experience a culture shock: visit the Perfume Pagoda as you would be a Vietnamese Pilgrim Tour Guide shows you how to pray at every temple.
Around Lunar New Year very crowded, tour is a little bit rushed (breaks too long, time at sights too short). Interesting, but if you want to enjoy a more historic and artsy approach, tour not recommended, but go privately.

Pretty good but longer than expected
Our guide Minh was quite knowledgeable and very friendly. The boat ride one hour each way is very slow and not very comfortable. If you're elderly or stiff in joints it's not the go. Our only comment would be that Minh would often repeat the same thing over and over which made each stop alot longer than necessary. The cable does give a great view of the surroundings. A few decided to do the walk instead of cabel car and afterwards didn't advise it. The lunch was substantial and varied. Also best note that this tour took 12 hrs from pick up to drop off, not the stated time. Also there is water and drinks available during the tour at little shops.

Beautiful tour of country side Vietnam.
The tour itself is excellent. Its such a beautiful part of Vietnam. Rich in culture and a visual spectacular. Our guide was average. Limited information that was just repeated over and over again. We felt that the management of the tour was just a little to relaxed and casual. Still very much worth the time. Some great memories.

Beautiful & learned so much
Really happy we booked this experience for several reasons: our guide Minh is from the village and was so knowledgeable. He’s a great storyteller and we loved learning about the culture. There were practically no tourists and only locals. The views were amazing. Everything was perfectly organized and scheduled well, with the perfect amount of time for travel, for learning and for exploring. There’s also a lot of bathroom breaks, which reassures me when on these types of outings. The different combination of smells also make for a unique experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Hanoi!
