We booked a private food tour (family of three, with a 9yr old). Our guide, Vy, was terrific. She based the whole tour on our tastes and pace, even adjusting in order to get to Train Street a bit early to ensure a great spot. Vy also helped us take some family photos and her explanations of the food and cuisine were perfect. We ended the tour feeling full and fulfilled! We highly recommend her!

We had a blast with our most excellent and fun guide. Minh!!! Every stop was a yummy new experience and the information he shared with us just added to experience. Even just the walking through old town with someone who knew where they were going and how to navigate through all the traffic was an adventure!! Train Street topped off the day!!! We had front row seats and our choice of coffee drinks to enjoy the fun of a close encounter with a Vietnamese train!! Great day! Don't miss the fun!

Very tasty food tour of Hanoi. Our guide Sarah took us to 7 different spots including meals, snacks, dessert, and drinks. Our favorites were the banh xeo and bun cha, but everything was delicious. We ended the tour on train street and we're lucky enough to see the train pass through twice. Was a great tour to try many local dishes.

This trip felt disorganized. The guide kept blaming it on Chinese New Year. We did get to try several dishes, but the places were dirty. We had a vegetarian on our tour and they told him he was eating just mushrooms. A version of the pork and mushrooms we were eating. After they had stated eating, he said I made a mistake. I found that inexcusably. I really wanted summer rolls and said something because that would be perfect for them as well! We even passed one, but he didn’t accommodate. He was a nice guy but didn’t meet our expectations.

This was a terrific tour and a great introduction to Hanoi and Vietnam. My guide, David Tran, was patient, knowledge, and fun. The fact that the food was delicious was just a bonus. I could not have been happier.

We have an amazing time with our guide, Audrey. She's friendly and introduced us to loads of Vietnamese dishes we would never have known, or tried. Sad that we could only remember the names of only 2 of the dishes out of 7.
We walked through narrow little streets and avoided the motorbikes - just stay close to Audrey. We also walked into people's houses, or perhaps it was their front door. And then we were back in the bright outdoors again and right on the train tracks. We sat for coffee and coconut drinks and listened to more amazing stories and history of this place.
We would highly recommend Audrey to anyone looking for a new experience in Hanoi.
