A Relaxing and Well-Worth-It Private Tour Experience

I was initially a bit skeptical since everything seemed completely sold out, and I wasn’t sure if the tour would actually go ahead. However, in the end, we had a wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide was super relaxed and friendly, while still providing a really informative and engaging experience. It was definitely worth choosing the private tour over a group or audio tour, especially as I was traveling with my older parents—it made everything more comfortable, flexible, and enjoyable for us all. Thank you so much!

Amine is your guy. He studied the Alhambra for years and has intimate knowledge of the complex’s architecture, art, and deep history. As a Moroccan polyglot, Amine also brings a unique perspective. He can read the inscribed Arabic calligraphy dotting the walls, then interpret them in the context of the surrounding art & architecture. It adds a rich layer to the experience. Highly recommend! A few practical notes for future visitors: - Keep your schedule flexible. We didn’t know our exact tour start time until the day of. However, Amine reached out to us via WhatsApp the day before to ask about our time preferences. - Nasrid Palace access was not guaranteed. But neither is it guaranteed on many other tours listed here on Viator, since tickets for it are limited and unpredictable. That said, we toured on a very popular date and Amine still managed to get us in, so the odds are in your favor. - This was a live tour, NOT an audio-guided one, despite how it is listed on Viator for English speakers. Amine himself guided us through the site, and he spoke fluent English.

The Alhambra is a MUST SEE. Absolutely amazing. But even more amazing is Viator who secured tickets for us after ours were inadvertently canceled by another tour company. We traveled from California to see the Alhambra and didn't realize our tickets were canceled until the day before. By then, everything was sold out and was unavailable until the following month. We only had availability the next day bc we had to catch a flight back to the US the day after. I called the 24 hr customer service and Viator was able to find and ultimately confirm a booking for the next day. We were so grateful. Viator was absolutely amazing and we will not use anyone but them in the future.

Die Alhambra an sich ist grandios! Die Führung war super, junger kompetenter netter Guide. Insbesondere die Tatsache, dass er als Marokkaner neben Spanisch, Englisch und Französisch auch Arabisch gesprochen hat war im Umfeld der Alhambra Klasse, wegen vielen arabischen Inschriften etc. Also Führung: fünf Sterne!! Leider gab es im Vorfeld Probleme mit der Ticketverfügbarjeit und die Führung war schon fast kurzfristig gecacelled. Wir haben es dann einen Tag später als gebucht noch so gerade geschafft - also Kritik an den Veranstalter und ein bisschen Vorsicht geboten…

Ce tour n’est pas du tout fiable! Les informations ne sont pas justes, ne sont pas données à temps. Le jour prévu ( pour un tour de 145 euro par personne) l’agence a changé l’heure de 9h pour 9h30, après pour 11.30, après pour « on ne sait pas quand, peut-être le soir ». Le guide était très aimable au téléphone, mais il n’avait pas non plus les informations de l’agence. Par conséquent, nous avons payé le déplacement à Granada, le parking pour rien et nous avons perdu 6 h à attendre pour rien
