Absolutely excellent experience! Daniele was a fantastic teacher and incredibly hospitable. She welcomed us into her home on Christmas! If you've never made homemade pasta before, this is a great way to learn. We enjoyed getting to eat our delicious meal afterwards. We highly recommend this tour.

Amazing experience. This was one of the best things we did on our trip. The kids loved it and they were excited to try the food they made. The hosts were great! Highly recommend.

We were a family of 9 onboard Sun Princess.
This was a great experience for all of us Tomaso and his assistant were super friendly and engaging!
Would do it again the only two hiccups- I wish Viator would tell you after you get dropped off you’d have to walk about .5-1.0 mile - it was hard for my mom on the heat. Italians don’t love air conditioning so it would have been better to have many fans going. Italian music thruout the event would be a great add on - truly enjoyed the day - thank you!!

Emanuela is an incredible host - caring, engaging, funny, and an excellent cook! We had a class for a group of high school students from Poland, and they enjoyed it so much that we overstayed the time by an hour, chatting, eating lunch, and enjoying Manu's hospitality. Her home is also a gem - the terrace with a panoramic view of the Ligurian coast made our experience ever more unforgettable!

Great fun and a delicious meal at the end of the experience. We initially went to the wrong meeting point so check your messages as you will be redirected to he correct address once booked. We arrived at the address and initially thought it was very intimate as the experience was at the hosts home. This was soon squashed as we got into the experience. We were explained the recipe and then given the opportunity to get stuck in. We shared the experience with another couple who took in turns with us to add the ingredients, mix them and pretty much do everything else to create two wonderfully pasta dishes and a desert. We then sat down and we're served our creations. And wow, they were very tasty and washed down with wine. A great experience and highly recommended, get out of your comfort zone and do it. You won't be disappointed.

WOW! What a wonderful experience. Tiziana and Roberto were fabulous hosts who made my mother feel extra special whilst celebrating her birthday. The experience was well organised and ran very smoothly, enabling us time to cook three separate dishes! This was an unforgettable day and we would highly recommend to any other travellers who are stopping in the Genova region. This was one of our favorite excursions during our trip. We were invited into the home of our wonderful host Daniela taught us how to make two pasta dishes, two sauces and tiramisu. My two children also took part. This is an excellent thing to do for the whole family, and you get to learn how to make pasta. Tiziana and Roberto made us feel welcome and comfortable in their home immediately. Tiziana is an expert in teaching at multiple levels. She’s patient and kind and has a great laugh. We learned so much from her! We can’t wait to try everything at home and share with family and friends. Roberto is knowledgeable about the area and was helpful in giving great advice on what to see while visiting Genova. We feel like we made friends which made Genoa more like home away from home.

We spent a rainy morning in Genoa with two of the loveliest people in Italy, Tiziana and Roberto. They welcomed us into their home. We made pasta, ravioli and Tiramisu - and a lifelong memory. Tiziana also made fresh focaccia. The smell of the fresh bread baking as we made our pasta was incredible. Roberto had made fresh pesto for the pasta - it was heavenly! As we shared our meal, Roberto provided a history lesson on Genoa and it's importance in history. We sat and chatted, drinking prosecco, and swapping stories. When it was time to leave, we all shed a tear. It was as if we were leaving a friend's home. Due to the rain, Roberto gave us an impromptu guided tour along the backstreets to hail us a taxi to take us back to the port. This was more than a 'cooking class', it was a life changing experience. Roberto left us with one request - to take some focaccia back with us, and while holding your coffee in your left hand, dip the focaccia 3 times with your right hand and ENJOY!! We did, and we DID! Robert and Tiziana were very welcoming and funny hosts who we enjoyed spending the evening with. I am allergic to pine nuts, and Tiziana kindly made me a separate pesto for our delicious homemade pasta. I would recommend this experience highly!
