An Unforgettable Culinary Experience! We had an absolute blast at the Pasta & Pesto making class yesterday! Alberto is not only a fantastic chef but also an incredible teacher. He shared so many fascinating insights and background stories about the dishes, which made the whole experience both delicious and super interesting. Everything,from the starter appetizers to the wonderful selection of wines—was top-tier. The atmosphere was light, fun, and warm. We had such a great time that as soon as I got home, I found myself googling pasta machines so I could buy one and make my own fresh pasta at home! We would do this again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

It doesn’t get more Authentic than this!

We were a family of 9 onboard Sun Princess. This was a great experience for all of us Tomaso and his assistant were super friendly and engaging! Would do it again the only two hiccups- I wish Viator would tell you after you get dropped off you’d have to walk about .5-1.0 mile - it was hard for my mom on the heat. Italians don’t love air conditioning so it would have been better to have many fans going. Italian music thruout the event would be a great add on - truly enjoyed the day - thank you!!

A must experience while in Genoa

Barbara was an amazing teacher, told us all the nuances of how and why the recipe is made. Our pesto was the best we’ve ever had. And her shop has so much to offer, from local wines, walnut pesto, guanciale, to mushroom extracts…all local. The experience is a must and I will be making homemade pesto from now on…. With the mortar and pestle we bought from her as well. She even indulged me by speaking with me in Italian, as I am still learning. Grazie Mille, Barbara.

If you always wondered how to make pasta

This was THE BEST! Petro (Peter) had us do almost all of it hands on - making Tiramisu, making the basic pasta, filling the ravioli, and then making the fettuccini, it was so much fun! And then we got to eat our own creations. Definitely a highlight of our trip.

More Than a Cooking Class—A True Italian Experience

Lorenzo and Camila were such wonderful hosts! When we booked, we didn’t realize our accommodations were about an hour away. They were incredibly understanding of our situation and immediately put our minds at ease by allowing us to keep our reservation even though we arrived a little late. Camila made the pesto-making experience both fun and informative, explaining each step with enthusiasm and patience. Her encouraging teaching style made our party of three feel like confident chefs in no time! The meal we prepared was absolutely delicious, and the tiramisu was truly mouthwatering—the perfect ending to a fantastic experience. Such a fun & memorable experience!!

This was an amazing experience myself and my husband enjoyed during our trip to Italy! Tiziana was so accommodating to her home & very friendly & encouraging! A MUST DO TOUR - You will no be disappointed

Karl is the PERFECT tour guide. He made our experience in Bologna perfect. He was very informative and very excited about showing us his city. His enthusiasm was contagious. You looked forward to every turn as you knew there would be an interesting story. He showed us details, relics, buiding plaques, and so much more that we would have had no idea to even look for, and if we did see them would have had no idea what they meant, he was able to tell us the story behind each things we saw. The Frocaccia and prosecco tasting was must more than a tasting it was a meal. he made sure everyone had plenty of food and we were full before we left restaurant. We went to a very local place to eat, which was just what we asked for. He offered a fancier place, but we wanted to eat where the locals eat, I was truly a wonderful experience. Karl was not a clock watcher - he insisted on stay overtime to ensure we saw everything he wanted us to see. He quickly undersstood our interested and was very focused on showing us what we most wanted and we were never bored. I STRONGLY recommend this tour, it was an excellent way to experience Milan and learn so much history. I would rate this as the #1 tour we did on our 3 week trip through Italy.

Nice experience in Genoa

Wanted a unique experience in Genoa that was not a cruise excursion. We had a wonderful time making some of the most delicious pasta and pesto ever! Lunch on the terrace sipping wine overlooking looking the beautiful city was definitely a highlight of this trip. Thank you for a beautiful afternoon.
