Get better and more clear direction to meet your guide. Better to meet at the dock if coming on a cruise ship.

We had a wonderful time on this very interesting and well-paced walking tour of Genoa. Andrea is so knowledgeable and passionate about the city and Liguria and has a knack for weaving the best stories from the past into the tour. Marine was a wonderful guide. She is very passionate about the city of Genoa and it shows. She was very knowledgeable about everything we saw — how in the world does she remember all those historic dates? Our tour was only 2 hours long, so she recommended a wonderful little spot to eat lunch followed by more suggestions of things to see in the afternoon. There were so many “secret wonders” that she showed us, that we never would have found on our own. The fact that it was a private tour was a welcome change from all the crowded excursions offered by the cruise line.

We very much enjoyed the private tour that Fulvio led for us. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant and he brought us to some interesting places we would not have discovered.

The booked tour would be in the morning, but the guide didn't show up. However, despite the discomfort, the local agency was very efficient in locating another guide and offering us the tour for the same day, at a new time. We accepted and was excellent. Our guide Gabriele was very friendly and perfectly understood what we were looking for. We spent two hours with him through the old historic center, with stories and curiosities. Highlight is also that we entered several churches, real jewels. I recommend to better understand the city of yesterday and today.
