Booked 2 hour tour, was picked up at our hotel on time. Guide was very good but after 1 1/4 hours heavy rain started and had to cancel remainder of tour.
We had a wonderful time seeing the city from our rickshaw (attached to a bicycle)! Our guide and “driver” was very knowledgeable and provided us with fun facts and historical information at each of our stops. We didn’t have any trouble with motion sickness and it was a smooth ride. We fit pretty comfortably in the rickshaw but it was not a giant space so it may feel a little tight if you are a larger size person or couple. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our ride!

Elenora provided a lively and interactive tour of Genoa. We would never have seen so much, so efficiently, so conveniently in any other tour. Maybe the best overview tour (with lots of details told in story fashion) that we have enjoyed throughout a world of travel.
We loved this 2 hour rickshaw tour. Our guide was FERNANDA and she was from Mexico but spoke 5 languages. She was very knowledgeable about history and sites but also stopped at a few extra places we requested. I’m 74 so this allowed me to see the old town without walking uphill and getting lost.
This is the only efficient way to see the finer details of the old city. The rickshaw is the only vehicle capable of passing thru the narrow pathways of the old city. It also gets around the old port efficiently among the pedestrian traffic
Great way to see more of the city in a shorter amount of time. Our guide, Eduardo was very knowledgeable. He asked what we wanted to see so he could ensure it was covered in the tour.

This is a great way to see Genoa
Great experience, even in the rain. Gavino (not sure of spelling sorry) was a great guide. He drove us through all these alleys, showing us the highlights of Genoa and giving us great history. I had never done a tour like this before, but highly recommend it. I learned more about the city than any of my other tours in other locations around Italy.
Eleonora was awesome. She shared the history of Genoa as well as told us funny stories and wrapped up the tour with a great recommendation for lunch.

Great way to see some highlights of historic sites in Genova. Guide Sophie was fabulous and so knowledgeable.
Tour guide Sophie did a good job. Wecould understand her. Seemed knowledgeable of the city & history. We did the tour in 3 different vehicles. Shortly after starting the tour the rickshaw quite working. We had a 30 min wait for a replacement. We came to an abrupt stop in the 2nd vehicle when a broken wheel spoke got caught in chain spline. Sophie was able to get it free. Next the vehicle did not have enough power to go up a hill. We got out, pushed & walked up the hill. Sophie called for help & a colleague brought her a new looking rickshaw. Finished the tour & back to starting point 30 min late.
A fun and unique way to see a lot of Genoa up close. Great option if you have limited time in port. Youssef was a terrific guide who’s knowledge of the city really enhanced the experience. He was an excellent ambassador for Genoa. He has a great personality which made our time together a lot of fun.

Our guide Gavino was wonderful. So full of knowledge about Genoa and took us to some very historical places. Great way to learn about and see the city of Genoa.
A great introduction to Genoa in two hours. We saw a lot and learned a lot. Jousef was excellent. Made it very interesting— and effortless for us, so we had plenty of energy for an afternoon of walking/sightseeing.
The excursion was a fun and intriguing experience. The guide was young and fun, had a lot of interesting information to pass along.
we had a flat tire and that shortened our trip, because it took a while to get help from the company. We also had to walk back to the ship because his supervisor was texting him about another waiting excursion. It was very hot and the walk was longer than we anticipated when we were asked if it was ok for him to go on to his next job. We felt bad for him because his supervisor kept texting and texting even though he KNEW our excursion had been interrupted by the flat tire incident. The guide was great, his supervisor not so much.

Our guides are generally trained to handle issues such as flat tires independently, and we normally have extra rickshaws available in case of emergencies. If the supervisor kept texting the guide, it may have been due to a deviation from our company protocol in handling such situations.

It was a great couple of hours travel in the Rickshaw with our guide Yousef. He was very knowledgeable about Genoa and took us to some great places. He was a good cyclist with whom we felt very safe. I would recommend to anyone who is looking at this, to go ahead and book.
This was a wonderful and delightful tour! We saw so much in the old town we would not have seen any other way. Julia and Lulu were great guides and shared so much information about the locations we visited. Genoa is a beautiful city and has an interesting history. We highly recommend this tour. The meeting place at the tour gate was perfect.
