We had a really amazing day with our guide Andre. He shared quite a handful of interesting information about Madeira in an extremely palatable way and because of his funny one liners, the facts actually stayed in our heads. Paired with the amazing views, skillful driving and memorable quotes from our guide, the tour has left a very positive mark on us. We really appreciate being taken care of by Andre and highly recommend the whole experience

Despite the cloudy weather in Porto Moniz, we had a lovely experience with our tour guide Paolo. He was very informative and his driving skills were top notch! Would highly recommend, thank you !!

It started out to be what could’ve been a 5 star but ornatos attitude took a little attitude the second half . I understand we had to wait for people that didn’t make it back in time and that is very try annoying for all of us . It happened at 3 stops and 2 or the 3 was the same person so this is not his fault . We also saw and accident which caused a few mins delay and people driving rental cars also caused issues but he became frustrated. Other than you need more time at the pools if you want to go in and eat . We had to choose so that was a little disappointing. Overall it was a good tour .

A lovely full day trip of the west and north west of the island. Visited lots of places- enough time to wander around, enjoy the views. I was surprised at the size of the coach though. On the information for booking it did state that the maximum number for the trip would be 15, which was one of the reasons I booked it. However, it was double this, hence the trip was in a coach rather than a minibus. The driver and guide were excellent.

The views are incredible. Our tour guide (Paolo) was extremely knowledgeable and interactive. We felt the tour was extremely comprehensive for the western side of the Madeira. Cannot recommend enough!

A great way to see the island. Gloria was very knowledgeable about everywhere we went past as well as where we stopped. Had a lovely dip at Porto Moniz. Saw some beautiful places. Well worth the money.

Madeira is beautiful. The driver was rude, sarcastic and aggressive. He snapped at multiple passengers. No aircon and broken seats. Pick another operator to see Madeira

This trip was amazing, André (Andy Murray) was really friendly and funny and gave us lots of information throughout the whole tour. He made sure that we got everywhere safely and even waited for us when we were running late.
We highly recommend this tour for anyone wishing to see more of the island. It was our favourite activity of the trip!

The landscape is very beautiful and worth it even if the weather was not good on the day we went. The driver/guide Mateus was friendly and did a great job driving in difficult conditions on narrow streets. We were with a small group which was great. You can opt for lunch for an additional price. We didn´t and were glad about it because this gave us more time to explore the beautiful Porto Moniz and have a quick lunch on our own.

Although the trips run under different names, all excursions to the western parts of Madeira seem to follow the same route, which ends in Porto Moniz, where 2 hours are available for swimming in the pools. One has to reckon with a 15 minute queue to purchase a (3 Euro) ticket at the entrance. The experience was magnificent, though, with ocean waves swapping over the walls of the pools.
Customers are distributed to all available tours. I was collected by a large 50+ passenger bus boarded by several groups (45 minutes wasted on hotel collection time) but then put on a much smaller bus (10-12 people) at the first stop Camara de Lobos. The smaller bus was preferable and the tour guide (Toni) was excellent. We went on to Ribeira Brava, then crossed mountains and went through tunnels towards Sao Vicente and on to Porto Moniz, returning on another mountain route through Encumeada. It was a great nature experience with extraordinarily beautiful views.

This is a good tour for anyone without a car wishing to see a bit more of the island. We visited lots of pretty villages and saw view points. The stops are very brief, time for a quick walk and a few pictures and then back in the bus.
The stop at Porto Moniz allowed time to swim in the fabulous pools and get a snack lunch. We loved the swimming pools, which were clean and well organised.
Our driver was excellent at getting everyone on the bus promptly, sometimes being a little curt, but this is a good as all the stops were made accurately. Our driver had lots of knowledge and gave us plenty of information as we travelled.
