    Diogo was a fantastic driver and had an excellent playlist throughout the drive. The hike was quite easy and the views of the waterfall at the end were breathtaking. I feel the time allotted for the hike was at least an hour too long as all our group was at the meeting point at least 30-45 minutes early. Overall, the experience was great and we enjoyed the transfer to the hike.

    Diogo was a fantastic driver and had an excellent playlist throughout the drive. The hike was quite easy and the views of the waterfall at the end were breathtaking. I feel the time allotted for the hike was at least an hour too long as all our group was at the meeting point at least 30-45 minutes early. Overall, the experience was great and we enjoyed the transfer to the hike.

    Change of walk due to trail closure - we enjoyed the alternative offered to us (25 Fountains PR6)

    The tour operator contacted us the day before our trip explaining the planned Levado route was closed and suggested 2 alternatives. We took the high mountain PR6 (25 Fountains) route and had a great day out. It's an undulating 7 mile walk around 3,800-4,400 feet high . Most of the walk is flat. Henrique was a friendly driver and chatted about Madeira to expand our knowledge as this was our first visit to the island. Reasonable walking shoes are needed - we had great weather so didn't need a jacket but obviously it can be changeable at that height. Small minibus for transport with efficient pick up and drop off points at hotels, you need 50cent coins for toilets at cafe near start of route, and a 3 euro visitor charge (payable online) helps maintain the paths etc. The path was quite busy at times and narrow in places but had no open steep drops alongside so comfortable walking with woodland and also mountain views. Waterfalls at end are a lovely spot for a picnic so its busy as everyone takes time to enjoy the setting.

    Friendly driver, no problems with pickup/drop off, lots of time to complete the walk. Would recommend.

    Beautiful views and friendly helpful guide. The biggest minus was that there was not enough time (5.5h) to enjoy views or have a rest stop in the end (had 15min). Ran through the route...

    Beautiful forest hike

    The forest and scenery is beautiful! Personally I preferred the 25 Fontes and Risco waterfalls but the Caldeirão Verde waterfall is still pretty (just felt more crowded). If you are a bit anxious about heights just be mindful the last little stretch might make you a bit nervous (worth pushing through though). When it gets busy the paths are tight so letting people past is tricky. Luis was awesome at giving us insights to from the hike.

    This was a great walk, you are in the shade a lot of the way so take some layers. Great communication from the company before the trip confirming pick up times and they were promptly there. The time given was probably too long and it could have been shortened by at least 39 mins if not more. There is a cafe at the beginning but no where to sit inside so if it’s raining you will be waiting for your driver. Wasn’t too bad for us as the sun was out. I would recommend the trip

    Sehr herrliche Tour, ein Muss für aktive Wanderer. Gute Wanderschuhe sind Pflicht. Der Transfer sehr pünktlich. Leider Motorschaden am Anfang, der jedoch sehr schnell mit einem extra Ersatzfahrzeug behoben wurde. Die Fahrerin sehr nett und gesprächig, dadurch viele und gute Infos zu der Tour und der Insel.

    Beliebte Wanderung, d.h. sehr überfüllt auf dem Weg. Bei Engstellen ist es deshalb erforderlich zu warten bzw Stau ist möglich. Unabhängig davon sehr tolle, grüne Umgebung und wunderschöne Landschaft zu besichtigen. Die Organisation lief gut ab. Der Fahrer (zum Startpunkt und Abholung am Endpunkt) sehr unterhaltsam, freundlich und sehr informativ
