Exploring nearby towns & wineries on scenic 2 lane twisty Tuscan roads riding 2up was simply perfect. Truly something visitors to Florence must experience. Bonus: the bottles of wine and olive oil we bought along the way fit easily in the storage compartments. Many thanks to Diego for his recommendations and expert advice. He was very professional, courteous, and knowledgable. A 5 Star Operation!

This was one of our best days in Florence. Luca was so helpful and amazing. He gave us fantastic suggestions of routes to see the Chianti wine country and a restaurant/winery to visit. Definitely a must do activity!

Fantastic experience. Alex gave us the full rundown and off we went. I had driven a scooter for 5 years so felt comfortable with it. Plus I lived in Florence and was somewhat experienced with the roads.
Something to note there is no way to attach your phone so you can gps where you are going.
My son and I went on a trip to greve in Chianti and had a memorable day!

So much fun! Highly recommend. The worker there is a super nice guy, very helpful. I feel i was comfortable on the Vespa due to having driven a motorcycle for many years, so it may be daunting for some, but I saw him explain everything in detail to other users. Gave a map with some suggestions to go to. Highlight of our time in Florence for sure. was nice to escape the city. Getting out of the city on that thing was a challenge, but otherwise was super fun to drive!

My wife and I hired a scooter each and had a wonderful time. The instructor before we left was very helpful with guidance on where to go given the reduced hours of sunlight in winter. Customer service was exceptional. Would highly recommend!

I’ve been to Tuscany many times and this is one of my favorite activities I’ve ever done. Hands down the best way to experience the scenery and be able to be in control of your itinerary. You can pick where you want to go or they will give you great local recommendations. We did a mix of both and had the best day!

We had the best time and after some practice and safety training, we felt safe and ready to go. We went in the country roads where it was less busy. The people renting the Vespas were incredible, helpful and responded quickly if you had a question.

We were given detailed instructions on how to drive the Vespas and a map of exactly where we could go. Even though we repeatedly asked the same questions or had the same problems starting the vespas or opening the compartments, the store associate was very patient with us and cheerfully helped us. I would highly recommend this company! Initially, the vespas were intimidating, especially when two people were onboard bc of the weight issue. Making turns with 2 people was more difficult than making turns with a single driver. The vespas were strong enough to go uphill with 2 passengers. After driving to/from Florence and all around the Chianti region, the cost to refill 3 vespas was only €11! So much beautiful scenery in Tuscany with lots of wineries and yummy food and views.

Renting a Vespa was the highlight of our Florence trip!! The employees focused on safety first, and we felt very confident riding around. They also provided very clear instructions on beautiful roads to take the bike down!!

We had an excellent experience renting vespas and scooters from Florence Station Rentals! The gentleman helping us was very helpful and patient teaching our group of seven how to use the scooters. This business was very flexible and easy to work with. We had a great time exploring the country side at our own pace!

What a fun day! There were seven of us and we decided to do a self guided tour. After an extensive training session, with each person individually, we were off. This was our first experience with riding Vespas, and it won’t be our last!

When I asked my son and nephew what adventures they wanted to do in Florence, Italy...all they said was "no horses" lol. I experienced riders, I choose to rent us all Vespas and I have no regrets at all! This activity will go down in the books as one of the most enjoyable and exciting adventures we have had in our journeys. Although I had pre-ordered 3 Vespas, we ended up with 2 Vespas and a scooter but we really had no complaints as both were fun and easy to ride. Navigating our way out of, and back into the city, was a bit wild, stressful, (and terrifying) but once we got out into the countryside, we greatly enjoyed the experience. For a novice rider, I would recommend booking with a company out of the city but for the brave at heart...this is your next greatest adventure!! You won't be disappointed!

Driving Vespas into Chianti was amazing! Give yourself plenty of time to stop for lunch and explore. Having a bit of motorcycle or minibike experience was helpful.

We had the BEST time driving through the beautiful Tuscany countryside on our Vespa! It was a dream come true and one of the highlights of our 2 week tour of Italy!
Our friend who helped us at Florence Vespa Rentals was incredibly helpful and wanted to ensure that we got the maximum benefit from our day! He offered us a map with routes, suggestions, and clear instructions on how to operate the Vespa and get the most out of our experience.
We did have to drive for a bit to get out of the city and into the hills of Tuscany (which is where we wanted to go) but we were guided how to clearly do that. It took us about 20 minutes to get out of the city.
Such fun! Highly recommend if you have extra time in Florence!

I wouldn’t recommend riding vespas in Italy. The owner of the shop was very kind, however unless you have experience riding motorcycles or scooters, I would not recommend this being your first experience.
My partner had never rode a Vespa, however I have my motorcycle license. After watching him try to learn to ride and determine traffic laws we were unfamiliar with, and navigate we returned within 20 minutes after fear for safety. Italian drivers get on your tail, drive quickly and other scooters are lane splitting. It was simply too much and dangerous.

Good afternoon, we rent 100 Vespas a day and almost no one has any problems, as you can see we take care of the customers and if they are not able we don't give them permission to drive, because safety comes first. Many people drive without ever having driven a vehicle, and have unforgettable experiences. It's really sad after the work we do to help customers to receive a negative review without any fault. You could have requested the exchange with a car, as always we would have done our best for you.This year (2023) 4984 rentals, 4.9/5 positive reviews .

We rode our scooter down to Siena, our favorite city. It was a scenic 2 hr ride thru so many vineyards. The scooter handled great and had plenty of power. Great trip, great memories.

This would have been a great experience if we were given a little more direction on navigating Florence driving laws. Navigating the roads and rules of the road were difficult. The standard Vespa does not come with a holder for your phone (due to the law) and it made it difficult and extremely stressful to get around, especially when you are not at all familiar with the area. We ended up returning our Vespa in only a couple hours after getting it because we didn’t feel safe driving around without knowing the rules of the road well enough.

Good afternoon Michael , we provide a special map, an application to follow and we rent over 100 vehicles a day, no one ever has any problems, we often use headphones or simply use GPS for the passenger. You probably need a guide, but consider that they are building the new TRANVIA, i.e. the metro and therefore in these six months every road is temporary, but it does not depend on us and it is very incorrect to penalize the company that has helped you in every way for a personal problem,
