Really great informative tour, however, some of the headphone ports didn’t work though. Why not get wireless! Or have a tour guide. It was very expensive for what it was and especially for a family.

Due to protest over fuel prices we never got our tour. We contacted customer service to find out if trip was definitely cancelled but took over 2 hours to answer think reply could have been quicker to allow for other arrangements to be made

This is a great way to see the city on the first day. We took the bus learned a lot and loved being able to get off at the stops we wanted to see walk around the area and then get back on to go to the next one.

Buses were never on time, one driver told us we had 15 minutes before he departed, and we had time to get a coffee and proceeded to leave without us !
Spent more time waiting for a bus to arrive at a stop. Got to our destination quicker by walking.
This is a good time should you get on at stop #1 and stay on the bus for the full tour. Hop on and off is a waste of your precious time spent in Dublin.

If you haven’t been to the city of Dublin, I would recommend the Big Bus Hop on Hop off. We didn’t waste any time trying to figure out the city bus schedules. We just bought a one day pass. We grabbed the bus right outside of our hotel Stop One. Rode the bus around the whole city once, so we could get our bearings and then road around and hopped on and hopped off at the sites we wanted to see. Very easy to use, convenient. Most of the hotels carry the Big Bus maps. Ran on time! No issues, fair price for a great ride!

We enjoyed the big bus tour and recommend it as a way to become familiar with the city. As we were limited on time though, we didn't get off at any stops but rather rode the bus and listened to the driver's narration for the loop through the city (between 1.5-2 hrs long). The tracking of the bus on the app worked well.

It's little hard for very young children...older kids can learn but under five they might not...they do offer pages to color but not at beginning of the museum

The ride was fun, the tour guide Jerry was very informative and even had good jokes I would recommend this tour within 24 hours of arriving at Dublin it allows you to see a lot.

Tour was to start at 9, started at 9:30. Not a live tour it was pre-recorded which was impossible to hear and badly timed. Live audio crashed at about stop 9. We got off at stop 11 and then walked around. Only 3 buses running for an 1hr 45 minute tour so spacing in between buses was long. We eventually got back on to a bus that was great as the driver was the tour guide and driver but only had a few stops with him sadly. Big bus is hit and miss here so if it sucks get off and try next driver. Ultimately ruined our plans for the day and was a waste of money.

Other travellers do not need to know anything as the tour guide gives such amazing information as we are driven to each historical stop.
Our tour guide (so sorry his name has slipped me) he spoke so clearly and informatively. He made our tiur so interesting and enjoyable.
Would recommend warm clothing especially warm head covering if sitting on the top deck.
Enjoy a trip full of wonderful memories.
Also if planning to go to Guinness Brewery would really need to book on line well before your trip.

It was a typical city Big Bus tour that allows you to get off at different stops. This one had too many stops. Some were close to other stops. The entire loop takes an hour and a half, so allow plenty of time for the tour. Instead of a standard description of the stops, they relied on. Descriptions by the drivers which varied in quality.

Get a bus that has a person talking about your experience. The recorded ones are not as good.our tour guide even sang some Irish songs for us! Also make sure you get your earphones if you are riding on the top. It was a wonderful experience! I highly recommend doing this!
