What are people saying about Dublin

The Best - or you will have a crack.
One of the best tours I have been on. We were never rushed and our guide was utterly charming - Alec and we loved every minute. It was a bit off the beat path. One site many Irish no nothing about. I would book this tour over and over again. It was a great day.

Stunning views
Another excellent tour with a friendly and informative driver. Alan made it very interesting in the way he delivered the information even with his Dad jokes which made me laugh. Stunning views across Dublin bay and loved that the seals popped up to play in Howth harbour too. Would highly recommend this tour 🙂

Lababaa sheep and claddagh ring secured!
It was a great experience Cliffs were hidden behind fog Shopping was fun Natural breaks for the restroom JON #22 Was great guide very knowledgeable. Unfortunately I didn't plan very well - I booked the tour following flying 13 hours. I experienced jet lag, with the long drive and windy turns . I ended up ( a little) getting sick on myself. Jon was very professional and kind regarding situation. Be Prepared if you are a queasy to sit near the front of the bus and maybe not scheduled this after a huge flight. Lababaa sheep and claddagh ring secured!

Get on Richard’s tours because he’s the best!!!
Eat before you go, the only realistic stops for food are a gas station or a restaurant near Blarney. Our tour guide (Richard O’Brien) was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! Hands down, the best guide/host/local personality during our entire trip. Tip him well with all the money you have and then more that you can find because hems worth every coin! I wish there had been more time at Blarney, but three awesome castles in one day is a great deal for the price of this package. Also super kudos to the hustle of the bus company - the air quit working on the leg to Blarney, so it was REALLY HOT by the time I e got there. Amazingly, the issue was fixed within the 2 hour time frame we were there and we enjoyed a nice cool ride back to Dublin. Seriously, any tour guide that starts an 8am Sunday morning tour with “Good morning!” - met with silence and a few grumbles and responds with “Jesus Christ…I said GOOD MORNING!” deserves every bit of flattery, accolades a outright respect from us. Castles were awesome, timing (except for Blarney) was perfect, but it truly, truly was Richard that made our day most excellent.

There’s much more to Ireland beyond the capital city of Dublin, including historic castles, coastal cliffs, and scenic countryside drives. Maximize your time on the Emerald Isle with Dublin day trips that include round-trip transportation to other parts of the country. Go hiking in the Wicklow Mountains, explore the sea cliffs of County Clare, visit the historical sites of Belfast, or listen to live music in Galway during a day trip from Dublin.
