I can't give this tour enough stars. Daniel was an amazing guide and explained the history of Ireland in an entertaining and understandable way. If all you want to do is check off sites, book another tour. If you want to know the history of Dublin and what the Irish have been through, don't miss this!

Stephen is class!

Stephen was exceptional! He is what made this tour not another boring history tour. He took difficult topics, explained them well, and still had us all laughing. We’ll be quoting “that’s class” forever. He explicitly told us he will not leave us stranded at the end of the tour, even though it was raining, and even gave us a list of his favorite Irish music (in addition to directions to his favorite pubs).

We try to do food tours when we visit new cities. It's usually a fun way to see some sites, gain some info about the town, and try new foods. On this tour, our guide, Lee, was great - so fun and knowledgeable! He informed and entertained seamlessly. As others may have mentioned, it's a lot of food!

Best day in Dublin!

You should know that you will have a wonderful experience. Time well spent. My tour guide Emily bares the credit for the superb day. She’s was so professional, knowledgeable, and very personable. While we were waking and talking she made a point to make a personal connection with nearly everyone, if not all. I think she remembered everyone’s name by the end of the tour. I did two tours yesterday, and was fortunate to have her as a guide for both. As a solo traveler it was the best use of my time and minimal investment. Cheers! -Ron Hill

A nice blend of humor, history, wit and drink

The experience is a nice blend of historical and biographical narrative, anecdotes about the writers’ lives and play-acting by the guides/actors. Finbarr and Ross had a witty rapport between them and appropriately timed their humor and irreverence. We would highly recommend it. It was an intimate group. And we learned something. And there was drinking involved.

Rainy day in Dublin

I think we would have gotten a better view of Dublin if we had been sitting on the upper level but it was raining. The guide was very knowledgeable and even sang a couple of Irish tunes. It was fun day in spite of the rain. Fortunately we had visited Dublin a few years ago when it wasn’t raining.

What a great tour and a wonderful tour guide! If you’re thinking about booking, don’t hesitate, book it now! Why are you still reading?! I said book it. Joking aside this is a great, well thought out tour. Kevin guides you through The Liberties area in Dublin and shares some history and local lore. We had people of all ages on the tour and even one enjoyed all of the stops (especially the ice cream). I’d recommend this tour to anyone visiting Dublin, either for the first time or even those returning. It’s a great way to see the city and experience and support local businesses. Jody our guide was fantastic. A mixture of historical facts, fun facts, sprinkled in with humour and olenty of time for questions from our group. He even helped a mother and child find a much needed toilet in a hurry. 10 out of 10. I would definately recomend especially if its a first time visit. Don't forget to tip your guide. Cheers Jody.
