Awesome First Night in Dublin!

We took this tour our first night in Dublin and it was a fantastic way to orient ourselves in a new city, walk after a long flight, meet new people, and hear about the history and hauntings of Dublin! Our tour guide Kevin was funny and a great story teller. We loved that the tour was more history based over spooky jump scares.

Wonderful tour!

Great tour! Kurt was a great guy and had a lot of info to share and fun facts. He also gave wonderful recommendations for the rest of our day. Excellent guide

Sean is an incredible guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about Dublin and it’s history, and he has a very engaging personality - I could easily have listened to him for many hours more. There is a bit of walking involved so wearing comfortable shoes is a must.

Do you like stories that are slightly deranged while also full of history? Do you want to see what lurks below the modern city? This is the tour. Ciarán has a fantastic company and this tour shows his passion for the history of Dublin that is uncomfortable, a little scary, but a true part of the cloth that weaves this cities long history. The stories were fascinating and well told. The areas of the city included iconic spots, as well as places must tourists would never travel to. My favorite part was the knowledge of Ciarán.. his time and effort into his research really showed. Highly recommend this tour!

A Fantastic Experience

Tour guide Alex was extraordinary in every respect. He was extremely good at communicating many, many aspects of local history, architecture, language, society, etc. He also speaks at a perfect pace and has been successful in mitigating his Irish accent in order to make it easier for an American like me to understand him. He even stayed beyond the end time of the tour to provide more insights. He is the best such guide I've experienced in my travels to many, many countries. Thanks, Alex! You are the best.

Best day in Dublin!

You should know that you will have a wonderful experience. Time well spent. My tour guide Emily bares the credit for the superb day. She’s was so professional, knowledgeable, and very personable. While we were waking and talking she made a point to make a personal connection with nearly everyone, if not all. I think she remembered everyone’s name by the end of the tour. I did two tours yesterday, and was fortunate to have her as a guide for both. As a solo traveler it was the best use of my time and minimal investment. Cheers! -Ron Hill

A nice blend of humor, history, wit and drink

The experience is a nice blend of historical and biographical narrative, anecdotes about the writers’ lives and play-acting by the guides/actors. Finbarr and Ross had a witty rapport between them and appropriately timed their humor and irreverence. We would highly recommend it. It was an intimate group. And we learned something. And there was drinking involved.

Rainy day in Dublin

I think we would have gotten a better view of Dublin if we had been sitting on the upper level but it was raining. The guide was very knowledgeable and even sang a couple of Irish tunes. It was fun day in spite of the rain. Fortunately we had visited Dublin a few years ago when it wasn’t raining.

Jody our guide was fantastic. A mixture of historical facts, fun facts, sprinkled in with humour and olenty of time for questions from our group. He even helped a mother and child find a much needed toilet in a hurry. 10 out of 10. I would definately recomend especially if its a first time visit. Don't forget to tip your guide. Cheers Jody.
