It was difficult to get the full experience with the crowds. Would reschedule for a visit another time when school isn’t on recess and the storehouse isnt filled with families.

The bus driver/tour guide, Bill was amazing. His knowledge of Ireland history along with his humor made for an enjoyable trip. He went out of his way to help our group.

Guiness is not open on Sat or Sunday, so make sure you book for a weekday. Its a fun tour, and worth doing. The pint at the end, while overlooking the city is quite lovely
The drivers on the bus are really informative, and were happy to answer all of our questions, and make suggestions

Great Hop on Hop off bus and fantastic staff. Guinness factory was amazing definitely worth a visit and all the staff there were helpful and friendly. Word of caution I would not visit the factory in high season, 8000 visitors per day I was told.

Quiggs and Mustafa gave us the best day today! From the smiles of the first boarding, jokes along the way and the beauty of the country -this was an amazing day. Very interesting exhibit and the views from the bar on top can't be beat. Make sure you give yourself enough time. Our tour was at 4:45 which didn't give us much time before it closed for the day.

The viator app is not reliable. We could not retrieve our tickets through the app. The bus driver was very friendly and helpful to help us get a hard copy of our tickets, however, he messed up our Guinness Storehouse tickets. Luckily, the woman at Guinness gave us a break and fixed the issue. The Tour Busses were fine, but I think you really need to be super prepared before using this Jump ON/OFF Tour.

If you buy the two day hopper which includes the beer tasting please make sure the driver prints out your Guinness beer pass ON THE DAY YOU WANT TO USE JT! We wanted to use it on the second day of our two day pass but the driver printed it out on our first day. It became invalid when we presented our tickets. After a lot of stress and headaches our group of 5 were allowed in (we did have to pay an extra 5e. Thank goodness for the lovely lady behind the counter who made it happen. Why these drivers don’t know about this is beyond me! We even told the driver we didn’t want to do the beer tour until the next day!

Our guide (I wish I had heard his name) was AMAZING - knowledgeable, fun, very helpful and a great singer! The route hits all the highlights. We were a bit confused with ticket times and lost a few hours because of it. Make sure you know what time you can get on the bus at the beginning of the day to make the most of it.

Big Bus was unprepared for 2 ships, we waited 70 minutes ( in the rain) for the bus to stop at stop 11. 5 of the green tour buses passed our stop while we waited. It was only 4 stops to get to Brewery. tour and we arrived late due to bus. Driver was apologetic for the delay and stated that Big Bus had added more buses to the routes.
It was not the experience I had expected, kinda ruined our day.

Convenient bus locations to major attractions in the city area. You get dropped off right in front of the of the Guinness Storehouse. The Guinness tour is great and very worthwhile. A must see in Dublin.

Fun place. Seems the entire city is Guinness! Big Bus is a great way to see the city. However, from the ship, we have to tender, get a train into town, find the right stop to start your bus tour. Got to Guinness and found that my QR code from Viator won’t work. By the kindness of the door attendant, we were allowed to enter.

The Big Bus was perfect for what I needed. I was able to see all the sites. The Guiness Experience was amazing! Free pint was the icing on the cake.

Horrendous customer service from Viator AND the tour company.
We activated our tickets as per instructions on the 1st day and “hopped on” the bus. No issues. We had the Guinness tour booked for 2pm, again as per instructions.
Arrived at the Guinness tour and we were basically refused entry, because our tickets were not valid.
Tried contacting the tour operator and couldn’t get through to anyone; later found out phone lines were down ! No physical office to speak to anyone and bus drivers simply said we’d validated the tickets and couldn’t help.
Raised a claim via the tour operator which was declined, apparently you have to do some kind of 2nd validation process for the Guinness experience. Went through all the paperwork and nowhere is this apparent.
Raised a complaint directly through Viator and was told someone would get back to me. Guess what? They never have and that was almost 2 months ago.
Now raising a dispute via my credit card to correct the incompetence of Viator.
I’d think twice about using Viator.

Found the hop on hop off tour to be a great way to get around Dublin and see key sights in the city. The bus drivers would offer commentary at each sight. We liked sitting on the tops level to get the best views. Our favorite stops were the Guinness Storehouse Tour, Trinity College, and the Book of Kells.

The Hop-On Hop-Off bus was a great way to see Dublin. On top, it was a recording that was hard to hear (they gave earplugs, but still a little disappointing). Once we sat on the bottom, it was a live guide with so much great info totally worth it! The Guinness Storehouse was a highlight, and ending with a pint in the Gravity Bar overlooking the city was the best.

When booking the Guinness tour with the Big Bus hop on - hop off tour, make sure the bus operative immediately provides the separate Guinness Tour tickets.
We were not provided tickets by the bus operative, we were denied entry into Guinness and had to wait for the next Big Bus bus to arrive at Guinness in order for that bus driver to issue the Guinness tour tickets.
That was extremely stressful and annoying.
A very bad example of poor customer service.

Very entertaining tour of Dublin city. I wish I could remember the name of the first guide but he was hilarious and very knowledable. The second guide we had was also really good. The Guinness factory was incredible and really intresting. We loved how innovative and creative it was, we had lots of fun. Would highly recommend booking both together for ease.
