This was a great day trip...

This was a great day trip from Dublin. It was a long day (13 hrs) but we got to see so much. Our driver/guide was great and had a good sense of humor. Giants Causeway was amazing! It was fun to visit the Dark Hedges and Belfast. It was a smallish group (25) which was also nice.

Great way to make the most out of a short trip!

This trip was great!!! We had only two full days in Ireland and wanted to make the most of it so we decided to book a guided trip. Brian with Paddywagon was our guide. As luck would have it, there was a protest happening in Dublin so the city was blocked. Regardless, Brian was able to get a spot just outside the center. So we had a bit of a walk to start but it was fine. The bus was very clean and comfy. Brian did an amazing job keeping us informed during the motorway delays and somehow kept the trip running on time regardless. Now the actual tour…incredible. He gave such descriptive account of Irelands history throughout the drive. It is clear he loves his job. I learned so much in one day! All the stops allowed plenty of time without feeling too long. The castle was amazing. Giants causeway…breathtaking. I do wish admission to the indoor feature was included but even still it was great. Lunch in the small town nearby was tasty and very well organized and planned. The dark hedges were a fun short addition for this Game of Thrones fan. 🐉 🐺 The ride back was smooth and relaxing. Brian also went out of his way to ensure two passengers could make it to their flight with the crazy delays due to the protest. 100000% recommend a trip with Paddywagon. Educational, fun, and lots of memories to last a lifetime!

Northern Ireland and Giants Causeway tour

Tracey_H, Apr 2026
Brian is funny and a fun tour manager and driver. Dublin was experiencing major gridlock in the city center due to protests and Brian worked around it to get us where we needed to be expertly. Brian was very thorough in letting us know what was coming and what our expectations were from a time frame at each stop. He shared history and stories with us that were very helpful at each stop as well. His "dad jokes" left us laughing. We're grateful for a wonderful trip to Northern Ireland with Brian. We would definitely do it again!

Giant’s Causeway

Jessica_B, Mar 2026
Long day but worth it. Beautiful area. Lunch was lovely. I Wiam the bus would have gone back to Dublin straight after tour as there is no time to do anything in Belfast and getting back an hour earlier would have been nice.

Breathtaking

All round experience with a class driver who was dead sound and made this trip that much better. A must Go.

Put This On Your To Do List!!!

Amber_B, Mar 2026
Incredible tour! The driver Michael was funny, kind, and told us information about historic places and events. It clarified a lot of things for me betwwen Borthern Irelandand the Republic. I did this trip solo in March and brought a light rain jacket , a heavier sweater, beanie, insulated leggings, scarf, and water proof hiking shoes. I switched between the jackets depending on the weather. It was on and off rain. You can charge your phone on the buss and also leave extra belongings behind while you walk around which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this tour and this company. It is kid friendly as well.

Causeway

Deb_R, Feb 2026
The causeway was interesting to see, remember to wear good shoes to walk in . Also dress in layers as it can get windy

Beautiful sights, but disappointed with the itinerary changes

Victoria_M, Feb 2026
The bus was comfortable and our driver was friendly and helpful. The reason we gave it less stars is because the tour did not follow the itinerary that they posted on the viator app. We took this tour because it said we'd have an hour at Dunluce Castle but we had only 30 minutes. There were other stops where we didn't get the amount of time alloted on the itinerary, Also, the order of the itinerary was all different. The reason we chose this tour is because it said we would have more time at the castle. We were pretty disappointed.

Great tour, beautiful destinations

Catherine_L, Jan 2026
Great tour, comfortable smaller bus , Peter our guide was so nice, helpful , friendly and informative. It was my favorite tour of my trip.

Wonderful experience!

Alice_M, Dec 2025
Our driver/guide Michael was everything you could hope for: polite, informative, knowledgeable without being overly chatty. The group size was just right, around 20-25 people., so it's not unwieldy. I highly recommend this tour with the Paddy Wagon. We stopped right outside the Christmas Market in Belfast, which is so convenient for us to experience it without going too far from the bus. Take this tour, you won't regret it.

Michael

Paddywagon Tours = A mess

Leopoldo_S, Nov 2025
NEVER EVER book anything with this company. Paddywagon Tours don’t deserve even a single star. PLEASE believe all those bad reviews you see of them. They leave before scheduled time and then say it’s your fault. To all of you considering coming to Ireland, they are not reliable. Don’t do business with them.

10/10 experience

Shelby_L, Nov 2025
Great experience! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable, kept the tour fun and made the day go by so quickly. It is a long day, with a lot of walking but if you’re up for it it’s definitely worth it. The Giants Causeway was gorgeous, the castle and views were breathtaking, Belfast and the hedges were also cool. Would definitely tour with PaddyWagon again and recommend to others

Very Good Itinerary and Guide

DON_B, Nov 2025
This is a full day tour with stops along the way for food and toilets. Lynn “our guide and driver” was knowledgeable and funny. Motor coach was comfortable and also had USB phone plugs. Highly recommend this tour for Giants Causeway.

A good but long day

Mike_O, Oct 2025
It’s a long day. Be ready. We left Dublin at 7AM and got back around 9PM. The Causeway is stunning. We just didn’t have enough time to fully explore it. I would have rather gone straight there and skipped the other stops. Our guide Neil was great.

Well worth it!

Jeffrey_R, Oct 2025
Very nice and well worth it! Saw areas didn't even know existed, absolutely beautiful. Seats in van a little tight, though not horrible.

Very good. Just De dark edge is not good

Exploring Northern Ireland

Henrietta_R, Oct 2025
A must do experience if you’re looking to get out of the city (Dublin or Belfast) for a day! We visited multiple photogenic locations (some of which were filming locations for the show Game of Thrones). Gerry, our tour guide, was amazing! He provided a lot of intriguing historical facts and storytelling throughout most of the bus ride. The food we had at the Fullerton Arms restaurant during our lunch break was delicious (beef pie). Overall worth the entirety of the day.

Amanda_B, Oct 2025
Great day trip, lots of good things to see. Brian was a great driver/guide. The hedges were pretty sparse but Brian told us before hand so we weren’t surprised. The castle ruins had great ocean views and the causeway was quite the hike but worth it. Could’ve done without time in Belfast but overall a great trip

The Giants Causeway is a unique place to visit

Peter_C, Oct 2025
The Giants Causeway trip is a very enjoyable day out. You visit a number of interesting places on the way there, then on the journey back to Dublin we stopped in Belfast for an hour. I used this time to do a black taxi tour of an area of the city and visited both sides of the peace wall. Our Paddy Wagon driver and tour guide Liam was most informative during the trip and kept us amused with his jokes and stories. The Causeway itself is a must see and very unique place to experience.

Hannah_L, Oct 2025
The views, they were impeccable. Our driver, so funny, knowledgeable, we really got so lucky with him

Great trip

Christine_C, Sep 2025
It was a long day and we had to hurry at each stop to stay on schedule. Would’ve been nice to spend more time at each location, but it was already a 13 1/2 hour day.

From Tears to Laughter—Thanks to Shane

Eva_W, Sep 2025
Our driver, Shane, truly made all the difference on this Paddywagon tour. He was absolutely amazing! His narration was so captivating that I found myself teary-eyed one moment and laughing out loud the next. If I could have had Shane as our guide for all of our Dublin tours, I absolutely would have. The tour itself was fantastic and one of the highlights of our trip—but Shane’s personality and storytelling made it unforgettable. Even my 10-year-old said, “Shane was awesome!” He even had us singing on the bus!!

Best tour guide yet

Sean_C, Sep 2025
Shane (I believe that’s how it’s spelled) was the best tour guide yet. Funny, engaging and knowledgeable. He even sang old Irish songs to better explain how engrained the history is within the Irish culture.

Must go

Angela_D, Sep 2025
Great tour with Michael!!! Loved all the stops and the history that we were given on the tour 10000% recommend.

Worth it!

Thuan_N, Sep 2025
Awesome guide Liam. Very funny while giving nice infos on diverse subjects. Enough time at each place to explore and take photos. Great tour!
