This private boat tour took us to snorkel, where we saw thousands of fish! The Captain and assistant were awesome and fun to be around. Riding around checking out other beaches, then on to a party cove!

Nice private Boat excursion

Very nice experience of boating and snorkeling in Punta Cana. We booked 3 hours tour with Viator and got the boat from Liva Boat Bavaro Excursion. Everything was good. Captain Frank and Photographer Pedro were excellent. The problem was there was no proper snorkeling gear. There was no fin for us. We were 5 people and only 4 proper life jackets were available, so I had to do with a life jacket (Red color, not for snorkeling) , which was not good. I could not swim properly as the jacket was moving around on my body. There were only 2 full face mask and the other was very basic face mask. We were told that at the end we will be taken to shallow water where restaurant is available. But this restaurant is closed permanently! Frank steered the boat nicely and showed the Dolphins. Pedro took many good pictures of all of us! Here is the message I had received after we booked the boat. "3-hour PRIVATE yacht tour. You start the route from Jelifish beach, you go to the reef to snorkel. You will then pass by the dolphinarium, stop there and watch the dolphins, rays and sharks from the side. You will not enter there, this is not included in tour. Then you will go to a wild beach, there are swings and a bungee, there are fantastic views of the palm grove and the sea - a great place for photos! Next you will go to the natural pool. This is the place where all the catamarans and boats gather, loud music plays, people wade into the water up to their waists, eat and drink, and there is a hookah. There are floating restaurants and bars there. There you can take photos with macaws, monkeys and iguanas. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and food. I'll give you a cooler with ice. A photographer will go with you and you can buy photos from him that you like. If you want, I make balloon decorations and it costs $55 cash , You can pay on the beach." Yes there was Natural Pool but no floating restaurants and bars !!

We had an incredible day on this private yacht! The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved snorkeling and seeing the variety of fish. The sandbank or natural pool was a perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun.

Worth it and would do again

Went with 8 people and was the funnest part of our vacation. The 2 guides were great and made it a fun and comfortable experience. I’ve been on the 6 hour public boat rides on other islands, and this BLOWS that out of the water. 3 hours is the perfect time length and each location was great. The guide even took photos with a camera the entire time for optional purchase at the end. I highly recommend.
