Exploration of off-the-beaten-track Crete!

A fun day that enabled us to appreciate the georgraphy and history of Crete and not just the tourist resorts. Lots of stops so we didn't have lots of waiting. My 12 year old enjoyed this aspect as there wasn't time to get bored. Guides were informative and knowledgeable but also fun. The lunch stop was the perfect location with good food. Would have liked to have seen more of the gorges but unfortunately one was closed for repair. The visit to the palm forest was the highlight; a really unusual and fun place to visit.
