Top Crete Wine Tasting Tours

The tour was excellent. We enjoyed the wine tasting and olive oil/honey expediences. Both had wonderful guides and tasting delights. Our guide, George, was exceptional. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us choices along the way. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

The driver, Anastazio, was very engaging and told us a lot about the island and its history. The winery tour is short but interesting. However the wine tasting is an hour and a half sat at a table on the patio, which is a gorgeous location. You get 5 wines to taste with an explanation of each. There is the option to buy food, such as a charcuterie plate or a full lunch, and extra glasses of wine if you wish. All in it’s a 4 hour trip.

We had an awesome time on this tour! The quads were easy to use and in great shape. We saw some amazing views, the Melidoni cave, and toured the olive farm. Worth every penny. Our guide was so friendly and accommodating. You would be a fool to miss out on this tour? 10/10

So happy I booked this smaller lux Catamaran tour vs. the bigger boat with dozens of people. It's worth spending the extra money. The max on this CAT is 22 people so it's intimate and personal. Captain Yannis was great, very skilled & experienced. His crew was wonderful as well. We had a windier day so Captain Yannis broke out his dinghy to get us 40' to shore & back safely. The beaches were beautiful and getting there early on this tour meant when the crowds of people are off loading their vessel by the dozens, you're boarding your sailing CAT and heading out to the next beach! We chose the early tour at 8:30am for this reason and it did not disappoint! If you're prone to seasickness wear a transdermal patch, works wonders! Or take "non-drowsy" Dramamine. This one girl on the boat could barely keep her eyes open between her instagram selfies lol, but she wasn't sick!

One of our best snorkeling adventures. We went to 3 different spots and saw varieties of fish, urchins, sponge, eel. Adriana was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable when asked about marine life. She and Kostas, the boat captain were very supportive for non-swimmer like me and made sure I was all right and comfortable in the water.

This tour is absolutely amazing. We got picked up by Vicellis, I hope I spelled it right, and he was on time and a smile on his face. He was awesome. He immediately gave us waters and drove us into town to see some sites. Then we picked up another couple and went to the olive oil tree farm and had coffee. A beautiful cafe with a huge grape vine for shade like beer garden. Coffee was awesome. Then he took us to a winery and olive oil farm. The wine was awesome and the olive oil is out of this world. Now I know why Crete is one of the best olive oil producers. We tried many wines and with some snacks. Then we proceeded to a lunch spot that was one of the best views I have ever seen. You eat overlooking a gorge in the white mountains. The Greek food was amazing. Vicellis took very good care of us. He taught us some bee facts but every step of the way was first class. He got us back to the boat no issues and we had a blast. One of the best tours we have taken. Money well spent on this one. If your in Crete this is a must!!

The communication was amazing!!! We received timely answers to any concerns about pickup time and returning to the cruise on time. The pickup from the cruise was on time, and the van was lovely and comfortable for our party. The dock welcomed us with a beautiful, clean, and spacious boat. George was an amazing host who welcomed us and inquired about the sites we wanted to see. The food was top-notch, and it was traditional Greek food. We were given wine and beer, which was amazing! At each site we stopped at, we never felt rushed. The boat was supplied with an array of floaties, which made the time in the water fun. Overall, this excursion is beyond worth it and felt luxurious.
