The visit to soap factory was interesting but we didn't get to make soap, lovely products. The olive factory is a small business nicely see. The wine tasting was good, lovely atmosphere family run. Dinner was in small taverna chicken and chips white wine or water. Unfortunately the driver did not talk to the tour would have been nice if he gave some i formation.about the island and where we were.

If I could give this to her 10 stars I would! George picked us up promptly at our desired time and location. We traveled in a very clean and spacious van. Although the day is scheduled for up to 10 hours, we desired only a seven hour tour. Because it is completely private, George helped us to identify what was best for our group to cut, so we would be back at our desired time. We started our day at a beautiful olive orchard where we learned about olive trees, olive oil production, as well as their beehives and honey. We had a very fun tasting experience in a gorgeous setting of the olive trees. After this, we opted to visit the cave, where George told us a little history about its significance. It was a very unique and special experience for our family. When we visited the beach, George was very kind and prepared with beach towels, mats, and even an umbrella. He always had a fresh supply of cold waters for us and did everything possible to make us comfortable. He brought us to a lovely restaurant for lunch and we opted to end our day early. For people who want to do more, the day has the potential to be longer. There is a lot of driving around the island, but George gave us a perfect balance of answering our questions, and also allowing us to just be quiet and enjoy enjoying the beautiful scenery. He was an exceptionally careful driver, as many of these mountain roads seemed quite dangerous. I cannot say enough good things about this tour. Don’t hesitate to book! Definitely worth the money. Our guide Nicholas was great. Beautiful view with coffee overlooking Chania to start. Walk through Old Chania was nice to see areas that we wouldn't have seen otherwise. Wine tasting with Maria was super. Informative but not intense or too snooty which was good for us. Traditional lunch was very good. A lot of food so we took some back with us. All a great way to start our stay on Old Chania.

Lovely people, clear instructions and a fun morning out. We all liked it a lot. Some of us hadn't been on quads before but the trip was tailored so it was doable but not too scary. Doing 40kph on roads and then over some dirt tracks across the countryside for some variety.

First class service, from the moment you are picked up Areti is respectfully enquiring what your tastes are and wine preferences. From there, she expertly pairs wine and food to your tastes. This is a great day, excellent wine & olive oil with authentic Cretan food served at every stop. Areti knows her stuff, we learnt all about the history of Crete and how they had brought back certain wines from near extinction. If you’re not a big breakfast eater then skip it altogether that day as the food offered on the tour is outstanding. Highly recommended, look no further.

George “the tall guy” was a great guide. He is obviously well educated in history and politics and we learned quite a bit about the wars and current military installations in Crete. The church atop the hill was inspirational. The mostly self guided tour of the Venetian portion of Chania was great because George told us what not to miss and arranged for an oil, balsamic, raki, honey and nut butter tasting which was fantastic. We ended up buying a bunch of items because we knew how good it tasted. We purchased beautiful linens. After viewing outside and inside the walls of the old city, we toured some additional beaches. It’s cool now but the water was calm and shallow. It’s perfect for when it’s hot out. I’d highly recommend a tour with George because he customized it to meet our expectations.

We really enjoyed everything. Our driver picked us up and was super kind and entertaining! She gave us so much valuable information and insight into life in Crete. The wine tour and tasting was excellent. Our guide was super informative, fun, and enthusiastic - and the wine was really very nice and unique to the area. Loved every minute of the tour and the tasting.

A really pleasant and informative day about the island, its food, its history, its olive trees and bees. We learned so much! Our guide was dynamic and super friendly. It felt like we did loads in a few hours: visit the world’s oldest olive trees, the bakery, the cheese factory, the bee keeping place, the olive oil factory, the tasting, and the winery and wine tasting! So much was packed in one day. Great value for money. You’ll need cash for the bakery but everywhere else accepts cards. Super super day!
