- POSSIBILITY DRIVING the jeep: min 21 years old AND min 3 years driving license AND min 3 years MANUAL driving experience AND in the last year NOT only driven an automatic car. Travelers with a driving License from countries driving at the right side of the car, are not allowed by insurance to drive. We are not a driving school, so only responsible drivers! Comfortable shoes, no flip flops. ABSOLUTE ALCOHOL BAN for drivers.

If you love history then you'll love this tour. We couldn't drive as we are from Australia but that actually worked out better as the tour guide told us so much history of Crete. The lunch was also amazing.

We had a brilliant day exploring some of the less touristy areas of the island. Lots of off roading too, which meant we saw areas not accessible normally by car.
Lunch was delicious and there was no pressure to buy prducts at any of the stops.
Our driver and guide Louise was fantastic, she was informative, energetic and funny. By the end of the day it felt as though we had just been out with friends for the day.
Highly recommended.

If you love history then you'll love this tour. We couldn't drive as we are from Australia but that actually worked out better as the tour guide told us so much history of Crete. The lunch was also amazing.

Such a wonderful day with breathtaking sceneries, local villages and delicious food. Our tour guide, Gijs, was a very informative and warm person. I was travelling with my 62 year old mother. She loved it! I must say that it's not scary or dangerous at all (I was a little bit worried the day before). My mother was able to manage the whole trip very well.
Small tip - I advise taking a towel to cover your seat (it will be useful later on at the beach as well). Car seats can become so hot, that you may have difficulty sitting down 😅

Best experience and best tour guide I’ve ever had! Loved every bit of the tour and how informative and down to earth the tour guide, heiss, was throughout whole experience. I was the only solely English speaker on this tour amongst those who spoke Dutch or German and the tour guide never once made me left out. Thank you heiss!

Louise was a fantastic guide intelligent and knowledgeable. I shared the same values and attitudes. She is a real gem.
In England I have a Porsche, a Jaguar XK8(4 litre,) two Toyota RAV4. I have driven in America. France. Italy, Switzerland (San Bernardino Pass) Germany, Austria., Belgium. This year if not for Covid I would be driving in France. I was not allowed to drive a Jeep by you. The lame excuse -they are left hand drive. Ha!. I know the real reason was Ageism. My wife is more than 20years younger. You should realize that men of a certain age are not the walking dead - get up to date.
Luckily Louise our guide was a wonderful companion and saved the day.

Nur für Fahranfänger oder unsichere Fahrer geeignet. Selbst auf den geteerten Hauptstraßen wurde nicht schneller als 40 km/h gefahren. Durch die langsame Fahrt blieben letztendlich auch nur noch 30 Minuten Badeaufenthalt an dem schönen Strand von Malia übrig. Schade,..
Auch die Jeeps waren in einem schlechten Zustand. Rostig, Stoßdämpfer defekt, kein Allrad mehr zuschaltbar. Einfach viel zu alt für eine Jeep Safari.
Wer Spaß haben möchte und ein Abenteuer erleben möchte, bucht diese Tour besser nicht.
Positiv war die Besichtigung einer unbekannten aber trotzdem sehr schönen Tropfsteinhöhle.
Mehr positives können wir aber leider nicht berichten über diese Tour, da sie sehr langweilig und unspektakulär war, wenn man schon mehrere Jeep Safaris in seinem Leben gemacht hat.

Fahrt durch die wilde Landschaft des Lasithi Gebirges mit Besuch von stillen kleinen Dörfern. Gutes griechisches Essen in einer kleinen Taverne. Sehr kompetenter und entspannter Guide der Land und Leute kennt.
