Great experience. Hands on class. Informative about Cretan cuisine. As a trained chef this was important to me. The size of the class (27) was a bit worrying but everyone was given veerna’s time and instruction.

This entire experience was 5 stars from beginning to end. We were picked up at the port and taken to Veerna’s kitchen. She and her staff we so kind and we all felt like family while we were there. We cooked SO MUCH food in 4 hours and it was all DELICIOUS. Even picky eaters like me had lots to eat! The home is situated by a beautiful olive grove and the gardens and seating area are picturesque. You need to do this while in Crete!

This was one of our favorite things we did in Crete! HIGHLY recommend to do this if you are traveling to Crete. The entire family is so nice and welcoming. Alex picked us up from our hotel (they do offer transfer services) and he was a pleasure to get to know. Verna was an absolute gem. She was friendly, welcoming, funny, and she gave great instruction for the class. We loved meeting the other couples in the class and overall this was an amazing experience. A MUST DO for sure. 10/10!!

First class experience offered by a Crete family. I booked this trip for 7 of my friends; none of them are cooks but very much foodies and wine lovers. We absolutely loved our experience; it was professional, personal, and perfect in every way. We participated in every step from chopping vegetables to making phyllo pastry. Veerna, business owner, mom and chef was amazing! It was so organized and clean. They provided transportation for us to and from the port for a minimal cost. One fabulous experience. 20 people max which made it more special.

Great experience, which I highly recommend if you are staying in or visiting Chania. Veerna and her family are great hosts - so hospitable and organized! They do a great job of walking through the steps with the group and providing education, but keeping things interactive and fun. All of the food turned out delicious and was the right amount of work to prepare. My advice would be to eat beforehand so you don’t get too hungry by the time you first eat. Also, aside from the class itself, the property was beautiful and it was fun to interact with other travelers.

It was so much better than advertised! It was 4 hours of learning how to cook in the Cretan style, but even more about family and laughter and pure joy! We were with a great group of strangers to us and had an absolute blast in their home kitchen. We left with full bellies and fell in love with Cretan tradition. They are a truly special family! We met Veerna and Kostas’ boys and heard family stories and even taught Kostas a new word!!! We would highly recommend to open-minded travelers. Stin Yeia Mas!

This was the best cooking class we have ever taken. Veerna and Kosti were fantastic hosts and teachers. If you are going to Crete, you need to experience this. The class is very hands on and Veerna is a wonderful chef and instructor. The class feels like you are just hanging out with old friends cooking and drinking. This is one of the best things we have done in all of the 18 countries we have visited. I highly recommend. Do not miss out on this.
