Review of my Trip to Trypitti on Sunday, 28/09/2025 I had the great pleasure of spending a wonderful day in Trypitti together with Christos and Andreas. From the very beginning, both of them created a relaxed yet exciting atmosphere with their warm personalities and extensive knowledge. The tour was perfectly organized – we were able to enjoy the breathtaking scenery while also learning a lot about the history and unique features of the region. Christos and Andreas were always attentive, kind, and very professional. At the same time, we shared many fun moments together, which made the whole day truly unforgettable. What impressed me most was the combination of nature, culture, and genuine hospitality. Trypitti is already a magical place, but thanks to Christos and Andreas my visit turned into a truly unique experience. 🌟 Conclusion: Highly recommended! Anyone visiting Trypitti should not miss the chance to spend time with these two wonderful guides.

It was great. Learnt lots about the local history, had a traditional Greek lunch, and models was very very good. He interacted and had loads of knowledge. He was very good. Such a fantastic experience, would totally recommend it.

We had a great day with Michael on the Jeep tour and beech. We saw some amazing sites and even stopped for an authentic Greek lunch. Micheal did a great job of driving, his accent was a little difficult at times to understand but he did a good job. The beech was almost private. Well worth your time.

I cant believe they stuffed us in one jeep.

Our guide was great - friendly, informative. Eight adults (with backpacks) was excruciatingly uncomfortable in one jeep. Stuffed in the back - half if us couldnt even look out the window. Beach was great but its a LONG time to be crammed into a hot jeep (no air conditioning) for a 45 min swim. Lunch was ok.

Worthwhile - a great safari tour

What a fantastic safari tour! The scenery was breathtaking, and there were plenty of stops along the way. Dimitri (our guide and driver) was a legend and explained everything in three languages. The Zaro lake was a serene place whilst the gorge was amazing. We saw archaeological sites along the way, a number of goats and learnt about the flora and fauna of the region. The beach was beautiful - charcoal sand with pebbles (we didn’t use shoes to swim), and sat in a cove at the end of the gorge with a bathroom to change and a small restaurant for refreshments. Lunch was delicious and we couldn’t finish the food and drinks. A great day trip from Heraklion that was organised from the booking to the end.

Andreas, was amazing. We had a great time as a family. The Jeep ride was so entertaining with lots of jokes and great learning experience. The food was great and the company even better. A must do in Crete!!! 5 stars

Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und der Guide war super lustig und konnte perfekt deutsch und englisch sprechen! Die Route war ebenfalls sehr schön und man konnte viel über die Geschichte erfahren.

Wir hatten ein Auto wo 8 Personen sitzen sollten im Kofferraum waren 2 Sitzbänke wo sich 4 Teilnehmer gegenseitig ankucken konnten. Die Bank war alles andere als bequem, man kam sich vor wie ein Gepäckstück. Von da aus sah ich die ersten 3,5 Stunden wenig bis gar nichts. Der Tourenguide war freundlich hatte meiner Wahrnehmung nach, wenig Ahnung wo er durchfahren musste. Er schaute daher immer wieder während des Fahrens aufs Handy, was ich als nicht sehr Vertrauens fördernd empfand. Was wir hingegen während den Stopps gesehen hatten war wirklich schön und der Guide zeigte uns viele Kräuter die wir erraten durften. Das Essen war lecker und das Ambiente in der Taverne war sehr gut. Ich würde diesen Ausflug wieder buchen aber mit dem Vermerk, dass ich nicht ein solches Transportmittel will.

Des guides professionnels, joyeux, accueillant, à l’écoute des besoins 💝Des légendes, la découverte de la vraie vie Crétoise en dehors des circuits très touristiques. Des guides aux petits soins qui ont su me rassurer (/vertige)… Une vue incroyable dans les hauteurs du Sud de la Crète. Deux excursions avec Safari Experts, où on se sent vivant et en sécurité. Mon ado et moi-même avons adoré !
