Great way to see Cozumel

Bikes are old and need better maintenance. You follow a leader but no one in the back and “when” not “if” there are issues, it’s up to your fellow riders to get the attention of the guide. Would have like a few more places to see and stop for pictures rather then ride ride ride

Gris was a fabulous guide! The bikes were in good condition. The ride was safe even if you are not too experienced or not a big biker. The group was small! Yay! We saw a lot and had the best tacos of my life!

This was so much more than your typical excursion. Gris, our guide, helped to immerse us in the culture of Cozumel. She was authentic and shared so much about what it was like growing up on this small island. The stops along the way were fantastic and the tacos were 10/10! We also wanted to go to a beach after we were done with our tour and she gave the best recommendation. We felt safe at all times and loved learning and seeing so much of this island that we’ve been to so many times, but never in this way. It was only a 10 minute cab ride from the cruise port.

Gris was incredible!! We had so much fun during the travel as well as each stop we made along the way! Gris took us to some catered locations that meant a lot to us personally, that we would not have been able to experience in a normal tourist route. These locations offered a more authentic and behind the scenes look into the culture and heritage of Cozumel! She also offered to assist with pictures which was incredible appreciated! We felt very taken care of by Gris!!

Island tour with taco lunch

Our guide Chris was very accommodating as one member of our group delayed the start of the tour due to illness. We were taken to several island attractions with a stop at a jewelry artist using black coral and other materials. Our stop for tacos at Guisados was very welcome as we were all hungry. Very authentic and delicious food. However, as there is not much to see on the island, you might be better off renting a bike and tour the island on your own.

We Enjoyed the ride and the guide, but the Bikes need to be upgraded. I think they could have included more sights as well to make it worth the cost. We did stop at a local black coral maker. That was fabulous! Also the restaurant, we visited was nice and Food was good.

The BEST tour!! If you are looking for something that gets you away from the tourist area this is your answer. Both Gris and Chris were amazing tour guides and they even gave me guidance on where to get a good deal on items I wanted to buy. They made sure that we were not left behind if we got a little lost or we’re a little slow and even took us to a local shop where they sold black coral, which is local to Cozumel. Perfect experience

We had a great time on this tour. We were in Cozumel on a cruise stop and booked this directly with Viator and not through the cruise line. Our guide, Gris, was really knowledgable about the island. We saw some spectacular sites, had wonderful delicious authentic tacos. The bikes were really nice and in great shape. Our guide gave a great overview and orientation of the trip. I would highly recommend.

Interacting with Johnny, our tour guide was the best part of this excursion. He was a down-to-earth, well informed person of Cozumel history. He kept us safe as we followed behind him on the crazy traffic roads. We went to 4 main areas by the church, the goddess statue, a genuine black coral sculpture ( I was able to buy an earring souvenir ) and by the park closer to the beach to have some yummy authentic tacos. Keeping up with the pace of the island felt way easier on the e-bikes. Would recommend this in Top 5 things to do in Cozumel!

The island was beautiful. Our tour guide was amazing, sharing all the interesting facts about the island and giving us a brief history lesson. This was the first time, we've ever done an e-bike tour so it was exciting. It was a good break from walking in the hot sun. We ended it off with delicious tacos at this local restaurant. Would definitely recommend taking the tour.

The tour guide was lovely and he tried really hard but firstly it is a third world country and there was nothing to look at on the tour. We rode a long way along a road that we could only see the back of hotels. Not good. The bikes were old and we were told not to use the electric part too much otherwise we would run out of battery and have no assistance. The bike was old and the seat was terrible, so super uncomfortable. We should have just got a taxi to the town square and had a paddle in the water on our own. It would have been more pleasant. The taco place was very ordinary. Lots of rice in the taco and not much flavour. And there was no ice cream stop. Save your money and have a look around on your own in the comfort of a car. (We did an ebike tour when we were in Santa Monica and absolutely loved it. Had a wonderful day so its not us.)

I caution anyone considering this event. Unsafe with substandard bikes and riding against traffic. We stopped within 1000 feet of leaving and returned for a full refund.

We left 45 minutes late after waiting for another couple. 15 minutes should be the cut off point for waiting. We only made two stops for history information which was disappointing. The taco lunch was very good! It was followed by a stop for ice cream and popsicles. Mainly it was just riding the bikes up one long street and then back. We hardly saw any of the town. 👎

Worst Viator excursion ever. Two bikes broke down within 5 minutes after leaving and were not replaced until taco stop an hour later. Bikes were so antiquated , my seat kept moving from side to side. Sites were only a church, an airport and a taco stand. Very disappointed. There needs to be a guide at back of pack as well to monitor breakdowns. Would never recommend this to anyone. All eight of us said the same thing.

Milton was a very good guide. He watched out for us well as we navigated the streets of Cozumel. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is I had a little mechanical glitch with bike but it didn’t prove to be too serious. The tacos were delicious!

Milton went above & beyond for us. Wish the tour started in a safer place, very busy roads & if your not experienced on a bike let alone an e bike be very careful, saw a lady smash into a garbage can 1 st 5 min. You go fast later in tour. Will do it again 4 ships in port ( busy)

Our tour guide Gris did a great job guiding our family through the city of Cozumel on our E bikes. Stopped to get some historical and cultural background on the area. The small taco shop was great with fresh blue corn tortillas and plenty of options for fillings. Very authentic local spot.
