Overview

Itinerary

Meet your group and guide at a comfortable mid-morning hour at a designated point on Cozumel island. After a safety briefing to learn how to operate your Pedego electric bicycle, set off after your guide.

Soak up the seaside scenery, and stop at a natural fresh water cenote. Next, you'll get a chance to snorkel at a spot offering great views of coral and reef fish (optional). You’ll visit a beach club and restaurant, where you can purchase tasty snacks and drinks, if you like.

Ride back with the group, or stay as long as you would like to take advantage of the club’s location and go for a swim. The cab ride back to town or the cruise ship terminal is short, allowing to make the most out of your sun-tanning or shopping time.

Our 1st E-Bike experience was absolutely the Best. We had a private ride with Jony who was the best guide ever!! He provided assistance during our ride, helped get us lockers for our belongings, provided assistance with getting our snorkel gear adjusted and on in the water and even was in the water and available if we needed help while we were snorkeling. We invited him to join us for a quick bite before we headed back. 10 out of 10!! Would absolutely do this tour again and would request Jony. Thank you for a memorable day in Cozumel.

Ruined our day at Cozumel

Well, we went there on a cruise boat and signed up for the eBay tour and somehow she said that she canceled via email 24 hours prior because of weather or something but because it was supposed to go snorkeling as well, but other people on our cruise went snorkeling and of course we didn’t get it the email because we were on a cruise boat and didn’t have service so we spent the whole day finding the place getting there in time and then not being able to go. She had nobody there working the desk so nobody could help us.

Great Cozumel Excursion

We enjoyed our e-bike and snorkle excursion. The meeting spot is a short walk from the Carnival port which we enjoyed because we wanted to walk around town a little. Our group was just our family of 6 (ages 14-49). We loved biking in the dedicated bike lane with our guide, Jony. The bikes are easy and fun to ride. The snorkle time at Sky Reef was also fun. We saw several different types of colorful fish. The current was a little strong that day so it did take some effort to swim back to the stairs at the beach once we finished. We were able to store our items in a locker for a small fee. There are bathrooms and showers available also. There isn't beach area to hang out on, it's really just get in the water and snorkle or sit at a covered table at the ocean side restaurant/bar. There are pictures to purchase and places to shop. We didn't eat or drink because there wasn't a lot of extra time and we didn't feel like we needed to. We had an issue with one of the bikes on the way back. We realized we didn't really have a system for letting our guide know. On the way out he had looked back and checked on us often. On the way back, he stayed up front and wasn't really looking back. Once we got his attention he was very attentive and helpful. Everyone at the office and at the resort was really friendly. The excursion was exactly 3 hours long so we had time to shop and snack before and after. It was a great way to see part of the island and enjoy a great afternoon trying something new!

Our guide, Milton, was great - very personable and knowledgeable. It was our first time snorkeling and it was wonderful! Milton was very patient with us and made sure we were comfortable. We did the morning tour and had time in the afternoon to take a cab to explore downtown Cozumel.

This bike tour for our family of six adults was a highlight of our vacation on Cozumel with its high entertainment value and our excellent tour guide, Carlos! We went off the beaten path to swim in a cenote, we ate fun snacks at a tequila tour, we swam at the Sky Reef Beach Club, and we saw parts of Cozumel we’ve never seen in our five years of visiting here. Carlos was knowledgeable, fun, and kept our safety and well-being a priority. Not to mention the bikes were in great condition and the store was very clean. We will absolutely do this tour again!

Gris was wonderful, very accommodating. Due to wind conditions, the marina was closed by the government so no snorkeling. She quickly created another great itinerary after asking what we were interested in doing and off we went. Felt very confident with her leading the way and we saw a lot of the west side of the island as well as downtown. Recommend highly...

Had a great experience on this tour, beginning with an orientation to the E bikes. Our guide was very organized, provided good instructions, and emphasized safety. The beginning of the tour was a ride through traffic, but we felt safe as good instructions were provided. It didn’t take very long before we got onto a bike lane and could enjoy the scenery around us more. We were a bit disappointed that the winds came up and it was not safe to go snorkeling, but we enjoyed a relaxing time at the beach club instead.

We had a good day. The cycling is not cycling as you can only use it motorised. The trip was also very short not even 5 km. The snorkeling was not possible due to hard wind which was a shame as well. Tourguide was rushing us. But he knew a lot about the culture. Overall a good price/quality excursion.

Yep! This tour was just as wonderful as I had heard it was. Although neither of us had ridden electric bikes before, my friend and I found them a snap to learn. We were the only two on this tour, so we had our guide, Fernando, all to ourselves. He was so helpful and informative and guided us through a few busy streets to the back roads. He was always on the lookout for our safety. After a stop at a small ceynote and a road-side attraction, we made our way to a beach club for some snorkeling and lunch. We then road back to the bike shop. If arriving in Cozumel from the ferry I would suggest taking a taxi to the bike shop. We read on the website to expect a 30 minute walk to the bike shop. However, it ended up taking these two baby boomers almost an hour. The taxi ride back to the ferry was quick and easy.

We had Zury as our tour guide Fernando was the rearguard. We really enjoyed the bike ride that took us off the beaten track and we really enjoyed the relatively secluded beach. Before we got to the beach, there were two breaks along the way: one at the cenote home of Pancho the crocodile and one at a little wayside Mayan exhibit. At the beach, the snorkeling was well coordinated. We had a pretty windy day and choppy waves, so the snorkel was cut a bit short, but we saw several species of fish and at the end a Manta Ray came swooping through - very exciting! I recommend three things: 1 make sure before beginning that you can straighten your legs when you sit o the saddle and pedal down. 2 start with the bike on setting 1 not 3 to make pedaling easier and adjusting to the speed of the electric motor. You can always gear up as you get comfortable. 3 talk amongst the group so everyone is on the same schedule at the restaurant at the beach. A couple of our group didn't hear the recommendation to order right away, so the rest of us ended up waiting for their food The restaurant and facilities were clean and the food was good the banana margarita was a hit and the other folks in our group reported that their food was good too.

We had fun on this tour...the electric bikes were easy to get used to...although we had hoped to be able to pedal more, the bikes are much heavier than normal due to the battery and fat tires so we ended up using the electric most of the time. That was the other problem - on some bikes the battery wore down before we made it back home. That said, Fernando who led our group and the rest of the team were very accommodating, very customer service oriented. We biked to a very nice area to snorkel...plenty of beach chairs and a restaurant and changing rooms. We thought it was a great value for the price!
