Poor customer service.

The tour was canceled for weather. Which I completely understand and I tried calling to see if it was going to be canceled before showing up but was unable to get a hold of anyone. No one notified us that it was canceled- we had to take a taxi there - only to find out we couldn’t go, and then had to take a taxi back to the hotel. All out of pocket expenses. All of which could have been avoided if a simple text or phone call had been made. When I showed up for the tour, the guy asked if we wanted to reschedule. Why would we reschedule with a company that did not take the time to let their customer know we could not go on the tour??? Bad business practice! Also, I then had to call Viator to make sure they knew we were canceled for the refund. They told me that we had to wait to make sure that the supplier (beach bum) had in fact canceled. They did, but it seemed to me that beach bum didn’t want to cancel so they could still receive the tour money. I’m tired of the attempts to take advantage of you as a tourist. Be aware- not all tours are like this- but this one does seem to be a bit sketchy. I love bicycles- I was really looking forward to this tour and was prepared to ride in the rain with ponchos and appropriate footwear. I was ready to go rain or shine.

This E bike tour is on a Path that only has potholes and bumps. It is impossible to enjoy the ride. We are avid bike riders, and can handle some roads like this, but this was the entire ride. Also, the lunch that was included was horrible. After Placing our order for food, they came back 40 minutes later to tell us they had no fish for fish tacos. We never received any snorkeling equipment, and we think the tour operator just forgot this. We were 14 people and perhaps they could not accommodate the size of our party, however, they should’ve told us that. I would not recommend this tour.

The itinerary for this tour was very good: Punta Sur is one of the most beautiful places in the Caribbean, and riding the electric bikes was a blast. However this tour was run by a couple of 20 something guys who have no concept or understanding of customer service. We took a hike into the Cozumel scrub to see a cenote. The hike was about 25 min in, 25 min out. Do you think they could have warned us to bring water? We from the north are not used to the hot sun. My husband and I came out dehydrated and not feeling well. The ride to Punta Sur in the back of their van with the bikes was awful 30 minutes from their offices each way down to Punta Sur. 3 adults on a bench seat that only went 3/4 of the way across--the windows didn't open and bike handles were sticking us in the back of the head. The guide and his driver were quite comfortable in the front and didn't even bother to look back at us to see how we were doing. I could only recommend this tour to others if they are willing to over look terrible customer service. The sites they are offering are worthwhile.

Grandioser Ausflug mit Gris und Luis. Es war alles hervorragend organisiert, die Tour ist wunderschön wir waren nur zu zweit mit Gris und Luis unterwegs. Beide haben sich die größte Mühe gegeben und den Tag für uns zu einem wunderschönen Erlebnis gemacht. Vielen Dank an Gris und Luis
