Great experience. The place has a bit of wear and tear but is maintained well. I was surprised that vendors were on the beach and approached us regularly. They at least took "no thank you" well and walked away without high pressure sales tactics. The food and drinks were excellent along with the service. We had a short shore time so couldn't take advantage of the sports equipment (balance board, kayak, etc.) but did enjoy the beach side massage (might want to wear a two piece swim suit as pulling my one piece down was a bit awkward. Also - I thought transportation was included. Luckily, I had messaged the host and was told that I would need to take a short taxi ride to the resort. ($5 including tip per person each way so not a big deal.) I would do this excursion again if given the opportunity.

It is not modern but authentic Mexican hotel and resort. The massage was relaxing and professional. The food was great. The service was superb. Special praise to Digby. She went over and above, pleasant and answered every question. My only complaint was tha boat were very close to area and not a lot of room to swim.
