It was really hard to find the place we needed to go, ended up asking around until a lady knew what the beach area was called and told us to get a taxi there but transportation was supposed to be included. paid $20 for transportation round trip plus tips. The beach break was amazing food and drinks 10/10 but the beach water was very dark and full of seaweed. Host was extremely nice and friendly

Meeting instructions were sent prior to the tour to help with arrival, but we understand it can still be confusing on a busy cruise port day, and we truly appreciate you sharing this.

This was a great beach break. The beach was good. They have covered lounges and set aside for our group. We had a group of 21 and all of us really enjoyed it. Food was great!

This is such a pretty place. The weather was only good for a couple of hours, but everyone there was so nice and helpful. We got massages on the beach, went kayaking and ate some great food.

It was very confusing to find the right cab! The port is loaded with taxi’s but finding the prepaid cab was difficult. Nobody seemed to know where the “beach club” meeting point was and there was no sign with our names, as promised. The beach area was quite small and much of it was seaweed beds. The chairs had seen better days. The food was delicious! Drinks were readily offered upon arrival but beachside service decreased the longer we were there. All that being said, we enjoyed the views and the stunning colors of the sea. Too expensive for the experience though.

You were also in contact with your driver before and on the day of the tour, but we understand it can still feel overwhelming with so many taxis around.
Regarding the seaweed, this is a natural occurrence during certain times of the year due to rising sea temperatures. Our team works hard each morning and after each tour to clean the beach as much as possible. We're also currently updating our beach furniture to improve the experience for future guests.

Easy beach day if you’re looking to relax. Not the prettiest beach I’ve been to, but staff is super attentive, helpful, and accommodating. Easy back and forth from the pier. Lots of vendors up and down the beach, but will leave if you tell them no thank you. Staff happy to point you in the direction of the more reputable vendors for shopping.

Pretty beach with personal umbrella and chairs. Nice staff. Easy taxi pick up and drop off. Drinks were good but waiters were busy so took a bit for service. Food was just okay. Unfortunately, still had hawkers coming by to sell stuff. Convenient, fun shopping huts.

The water is not great if you’re looking to snorkel. That being said all we wanted was a beach that wasn’t crowded and that’s what we got plus more. We took a short taxi ride from the cruise port for $4.00 a person instead of buying the tour with transportation. Yurbing, I hope I spelt that right, was very attentive. We enjoyed our day. The drinks were strong and the tacos were great!

Our day in Costa Maya was a very relaxing one. The people there are very nice and welcoming. Lunch is included and the food and Open bar option was fantastic!! Gabriel made sure that we arrived at Nohoch Kay via taxi and once we arrived, the beach was so serene and beautiful. We even had our own palapa and beach chairs personally assigned to us. That was a great little personal added value. We were introduced to Mario and his crew who ensured that we were taken care of all day.
Everything was wonderful!!! The only exception is that the taxi drivers who take you to and from the ship will expect a tip and they do not carry any USD cash for change so make sure you have smaller bills to tip them accordingly.
I highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Costa Maya!

This was an amazing day trip! We were a family of 9 and we had an amazing time relaxing and hanging out at the beach in Costa Maya. The taxi and pick up area was a little confusing getting through all the shops in the port and finding our way out past the taxi. Once on the axe 7 minutes ride to beach. We could se our ship dock from where we were so we knew we were close by. We are we sawn we kayak we snorkeled for N extra cost and saw turtles and beautiful fish in the ocean. Mario was amazing and gave excellent service. I would 100% recommend this place for delicious food service drinks beach and activities that were included in this price. Thank you for such a wonderful day and being able to accommodate for 11 people ages ranging from 12-74. Oh by the way massage in the beach with Veronica was excellent check it out most professional people you will meet. As weak as the snorkeling crew.

Viator doesn’t tell you the name of the beach. You are taken to a very trashy place. At first seems like you are going to be robbed. Called Viator to confirm the Beach. Once confirmed we got off and surrounded by people selling things the y did let us enjoy the beach. Don’t recommend!

Food and service was great! Mario and Vincent were attentive and made our day fun and relaxing.
We even walked a few blocks to shop!
Locals were very friendly and area is extremely safe.
