Do Not book with this company!! Pickup time at our hotel was at 8:15 am. The bus did not show up at all. We got outside early and waited over an hour. Called the tour operator and they said the bus driver didn’t see us on the list!! WHAT??? Paid well in advance by the way. The tour operator ended up sending a personal driver to take us to the volcano. However, we were not able to go to the beach club to relax and have lunch because the tour operator said it was booked! That was included in the price paid! So it should not have been booked if we prepaid! Disgusted!

Take into account that we even partially refunded the amount for lunch to your personal account. You do not picture the damage you do to a company by having such a bad review after the company did so much to solve your case and you were assisted personally bu the owner... That's not fair. David who was the tour guide sucked. He allowed the locals to embarrass everyone on the tour when it came to paying them for the services of holding the phone, holding our shoes and coconuts were offered. My friends and I gave over $60USD for things David said were $3-5. He did not try to help get our money back nor try to really help mitigate the situation. The locals were allowed to keep talking and poking us for money that we knew we had already gave them. They should have collected the money up front and dispersed it amongst the crew that was helping. We then moved on to the next spot which had an okay lunch and we enjoyed the beach. David then came up to my group to tell us he could not take us back to the pick up spot. Makes no sense because he picked us and needs to take us back. He said his BOSS said she will give $20 towards the cab but when asked to speak to the boss after about 5 minutes of him staring in his phone he told us he could take us back. Through talking to some people on the bus they told us they were picked up in front of the resort while we had to talk to a meeting point. The tour was absolutely horrific start to finish.

However we are strongly disagree with how you describe our service; for anyone going through our reviews this is sound not even the same company service level. Our workers reported from the beginning issues with your group and your behavior that we were the whole time trying to keep up with and trying to make you and your group as happy as possible as the rest of the passengers on the tour; it is pretty curious for us than from almost 15 people your group was the only one having problems and reporting issues during this trip. Regarding the pick up and drop off, please read better next time, since you were staying in a hotel OUT of the city area, where pick up and drop off do not apply, even though we came to the closest location for you and took you back too. However we will keep working to improve our service and take actions for when we have customers like you on board so we can manage the situation. What I expected.

The transportation part was disappointing. Took a bunch of unnecessary stops to get to volcano. The mud experience was good just a little aggressive in the tipping hassle. The lunch was delicious. The communication wasn’t the best but overall it was good for the amount paid.

First off our original scheduled tour was canceled without notice by this company. After waiting 2 hours from our original "pickup time", we had to contact the tour multiple times to get information. We reluctantly rescheduled for the following day, which interrupted our plans and when we got to the mountain it was literally a bunch of money-hungry people. While I understand that they depend on the tourism, one literally held our phones hostage and another chased us down for her tip after the river bath. The lunch spot was filled with flies and overall I wished we had just requested a refund. Maybe it would be a different experience with a different tour company but I will not recommend.

Our experience was very nice. We were given everything as planned and promised. Our guide was very friendly. Lunch was delicious. It would have been nice to know to carry water shoes. Walking barefoot was a little difficult. There are no showers so carry clothes that are not your best. Great experience overall.
