There are four island stops. The snorkeling is at the first island and they give you about 40 minutes to do it which is plenty of time and a good experience. If you're not snorkeling and decide to go on the island, unless you pay for the other experiences, you don't get to go but a few feet radius on the island and there's nothing to do. The second island is the party island. You're there about 1.5hrs. It's fun, the music is good but be careful ordering drinks, oysters and anything the sellers in the water try to sell you. They will tell you to pay at the end and try to charge a ridiculous amount which I refused and paid a fair price after 15 minutes of absolutely NO to the amount. The 3rd and 4th island, you're there between 30-40 minutes each just to relax and hangout. The last island is where they serve you lunch at 2pm and then it's back to the mainland. The absolute worst is you get dropped off at the shore, not where the bus stops when you were dropped off to start the excursion and you have to find your way back smh. There are plenty of cabs but I was not expecting that. I was expecting to picked up by the bus/transportation they used to bring us to the boat and take us back to the meeting spot by the restaurant. I had a decent time but I wouldn't do this again.

The excursion began with a meeting point that was somewhat difficult to navigate, as the square was quite busy with local vendors. However, once organized, the process was smooth with a bus ride to the marina followed by a boat trip to Cholon.
Cholon offered a lively beach atmosphere with tables, huts, bars, and makeshift restaurants, as well as restrooms available for a small fee. The setting was festive, the water refreshing, and the food flavorful.
Our tour guide was excellent—providing clear instructions, maintaining a professional yet approachable demeanor, and ensuring that all guests had an enjoyable experience. This excursion was a highlight of my trip and a memorable way to end my time in Cartagena.

The intsructions wasnt clear so we missed our excursion. We ended up spending extra money to get a private boat and also ended up paying for our food. We didn’t hear from the hosts until the day of so we wasn’t aware that we had to be at the dock at a certain time.

You show up the day of the excursion 1 hour late, we have all the proof of the calls and the messages that you didn’t respond.( in the information we posted all the information and the time when the excursion starts, and we contact all the clients, it no our responsibility if you guys didn’t who up) Then you show up in a private boat in the island lying about nobody contact you and trying to take advantage of our staff and then we show all the calls, conversations you didn’t reply on WhatsApp and on the website you stopped responding our messages) expecting us to pay for an excursion that wasn’t longer our responsibility since you didn’t show up on time. that’s why since we show all this proof your refund was denied.

We had a wonderful time in Cholon! Jesus and the staff were very nice and accommodating.
Someone on our boat became very difficult on our return trip home. Jesus maintained his professionalism despite her behavior. He was very kind and did his best to accommodate her. In spite of that, we had so much fun. The music, the food and atmosphere were amazing. I would highly recommend them!

Although lunch was good and we had tons of fun overall (dancing and mingling with new friends) on the boat and island, we never received the free water or 2 beers per person that were advertised during our booking. When we asked about it we were told several times that it wasn’t included in that specific boat.

My friend and I did this tour on March 22, 2025 and our tour guide Jesus was GREAT! So friendly, helpful and nice! He took great care of us and kept us informed. An incident did occur with another passenger (a lot of incidents occurred with this passenger throughout the day) but in no way was it Jesus fault. The other passengers were quite mad at how rude the 1 particular person was to him over something he did NOT do. I want to show my support for Jesus because he didn’t deserve that type of treatment. Great tour and I hope Jesus continues to make visitors smile and have fun!!

Adrianno and his crew were amazing ! Cholon Island was an absolute VIBE! The food was great too. You can bring your own bottle to enjoy on the boat. They sell you drinks & hookah off the boat so bring cash or card. They also charge you $1 to use the bathroom. But it’s such a great time. But the music and people are so much fun. 10/10 a must go on the weekend!

This experience was horrible from start to finish. It started with the organizer contacting me 30mins before the start saying not to go to the arranged meeting point and that I would be picked up. This lead to another "partner" contacting me only to delay the start time more than 20mins. The island itself is just a attempt and what felt like robbery with the number of vendors constantly harrasing you. The meal of course was could as they waited until an hour before we were scheduled to leave to serve us, the same with the complimentary drinks. This was clearly to get tourist to buy overpriced drinks that were not good. The scariest part of the tour came from the boat operator and crew. Not once did they check if everyone could swim providing no warning about the depth of the water. On my way back to boat I went under water and required saving which was only met with laughter from the crew. The trip back was met with rough water which I know they can't control but the driver seem to find joy in traveling in the wake of other boats causing everyone to hold on for dear life. There is absolutely nothing that I can recommend about this tour, in fact I would say to avoid at all cost.

Started out a bit rocky - bad weather, but limited information as to when or if we can leave the dock! I had to ask several times what’s the status and if your will cancel. Once we boarded the crew was fun and enjoyable! The colon island can be a bit overcrowded with multiple boats coming in at the same time. I wasn’t expecting to be dropped in water and had to walk to dry land - some stuff got wet and no longer working!

This experience was not the best. There was no commentary from the tour guide at all. As we traveled from the port to the island, I expected to learn more about the area and all the islands/scenery that we passed on the way. Upon arriving on the island we were not told about anything to expect on the island. As a matter of fact, we were not encouraged to explore at all. We sat on the boat the majority of time and eventually got off to eat food next to the boat in the water. It seemed the the tour guide was partnered with the locals on the island to upsell us on food and drinks. Lastly, upon arrival back to the port, we were dropped off at an "Alternate" drop off and left to find transportation. The tour guide assisted us in getting a cab, in which he also traveled, and after traveling some distance we were quoted a cap fee that was more than 4 times of what we paid for any cab the entire time we were on the island.

The reservations that are approved for refund go through a verification process and you were not refunded because we proved that the tour took place and that you and your group simply did not show up. It was your responsibility, we operated the tour without problems and It was a sunny day, the islands are 1 hour from Cartagena and it was a sunny day. The evidence with the other members of the group was presented to Viator and that is why the refund was not accepted.

The captain and the tour guy were absolutely amazing! I had a great time partying, riding jet skis, and banana boat. The food was delicious & the drinks was fantastic oh let’s not forget hookah‼️‼️‼️

We had an excellent experience hanging out in the sun here at Cholon, along with our tour guide Jesus. Jesus made sure that we were all very well taken care of; anything we could have asked for was provided at a moments notice. Great music and great energy at Cholon, highly recommend for a group of friends looking to have a great time!

Great experience! Arrived early before the other boats so we were able to grab a great spot with a table and umbrella. We were also near the DJ with no view obstructions. You can bring your own snacks and alcohol or order food & drinks when you arrive. Jesus was awesome, he had a great playlist and ensured we were cared for the entire time. This is definitely a must while in Cartagena, especially when traveling with friends!

The best experience if you want to party in Cartagena guaranteed! Eat before you depart and pack snacks. Bring your own drinks (at-least 2 bottles) or cash only, island is expensive. It cost $1 to use the bathroom. Our tour guide was awesome!!

Jesus was an amazing host!! We had a ball! Water was extremely choppy but we made it there and back safely! Host took well care of us. Made sure we had all we needed. Speaks English as well so there was no language barrier. Overall 10/10 will book again in the near future.

Okay let’s get to the point . Jesus was our tour guide and he was awesome great guy and took great care of us . Our tour had a group of 6 people and it was great . Lunch was include which was the fish rice and patacon which was very delicious. Anything else you lay on your own . The boat ride was a lil bumpy but that’s because we’re in the middle of the ocean and the weather is out of the driver control. The boat staff was great played great music and made me feel safe . Life jacket is on board . Cholon island was fun !!! Super lit , the water was clean when we arrived but as the day went on and more people came it did darken up . The workers do try to clean the water but people just throw stuff in the water . Cholon music was great I went on a Saturday . If you’re old please stay home cause this is not for old people who is looking for quite. I love everything about it it was a 10/10 . No I don’t get paid to do reviews but definitely book this and i suggest Jesus

Loved this tour! Please book Cholon if you are looking for the ULTIMATE boat party experience. Turn up on a whole new level. The massage, food, oysters were bomb! The locals so nice and friendly. Do not leave Cartegena without this experience! Thank you to the tour guides and boat caption 💓💓💓

If you want to party in Cholon, this is the boat you want to be on. The boat ride was smooth. On the way to the island William explains everything and gives you great advice on how not to get scam by the vendors on the island. The party really starts on the boat with music blaring getting you ready for what is to come. When you get to Cholon, this boat becomes the DJ and the music of the island. It was non stop partying. No other boat there could compete. The party really gets going after 12pm. Lunch is served around 1:30pm. EAT BEFORE YOU GO ON THE TOUR OR BRING SOME SNACKS WITH YOU. You can take your own drinks and liquor on the boat. They allowed us to leave our bags on the boat while we partied in the water, but I suggest to get yourself a water proof pouch for your phone and money. My favorite part of the tour was the dance contests. If you want to really party and experience Cholon the proper way, then book this ASAP.

The experience was good, except for the boat ride. It was horrible. I literally got my arm skin up from China. Hold on that was probably my only bad experience. Everything else was really good. The guys were really nice taking care of us, showing us the islands.
