Such a fun experience! Maria and Ronaldo picked us up and dropped us off from our hotel, communicated well and were very nice and helpful during the experience. The locals were extremely eager to contribute to the experience for tips, so definitely bring tip money with you. The private experience was so worth it! We got mud massages and had time to relax and enjoy. The lovely ladies bathed us in the lake nearby and made sure we were mud free before heading back. We are so very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend !

Good just for the experience of dipping into volcano ashes, but not worth the ride and dealing with hagglers at the volcano site! Also when book 7 months ahead arrangement made to be pick up at hotel and never got pick up had to go walk to a new location for meeting point!

Such a fun experience!...

volcano mud bath - not recommended

not a experience that we would like to repeat. the people were nice, but aggressive with their hustle. The volcano looks man made and not secure to climb up. however, you could smell the minerals from the mud. the bath is like a sump not clean water it has a dad smell to it. they do offer a fresh wanted shower but you must pay. just overall it needs lots of improvements and organization.

Had an awesome experience soaking/dipping my n the mud. My tour guide was amazing. I did a private solo tour so it the experience was memorable. I would recommend not getting the massage, any pics taken by the locals there as they are very aggressive and demanding when it comes to tipping. If you have a buddy take turns in the mud and take your own pictures or at the end you feel like an antelope being chased by hyenas to get the tips!!

Very interesting experience! Something you should do atleast once. It was just me on the tour and I had the mud all to myself. People do come watch and tips are expected for the locals that provide services. Was definitely worth it and a very memorable experience!
