Amazing tour - amazing crew

Michael_M, Dec 2021
The trip was fantastic driven by the amazing crew - the guys where so nice unbelievable - snorkeling was an experience - we saw turtles - and a lot of different fish. All in all a very nice day.

Dear Michael, Thank you so much for sharing your experience, we are more than glad to hear that you enjoyed our Isla Mujeres Trimaran Cruise tour. Warm regards from Cancun!

The snorkling and the waves

Maria_H, Oct 2020
The catamaran was clean and the staff was friendly. There was not too many people on the board. They played music all the way very loud! We needed to ask many times to put the music volume down because it was so loud that we couldn't even hear each other talking. There wasn't much to see in the sea while snorkling. There could have been another spot to snorkel too! The buffet lunch was pretty tasty. On the way back there wasn't the spinnaker activity at all (they said it was because of the wheather but you never know...).

The sea looks terrific on a sunny day. The tour guy and staff on board are very helpful. Photos taken during snorkelling are perfect so I bought the whole package. The price for the tour is well worth it. Regret not giving tips because could not get changes before on board.

If body shaming someone who is quite fit and and lying to you about taxes on ever turn is your thing, this is the tour for you. Tour was fine, nothing otherworldly but totally undercut by gross unprofessionalism. Suggest you look elsewhere as it's not that hard to find better.

The trip was a lot of fun, we went out to snorkel but the water was to rough so we couldn't go to the underwater museum. The guides were really good, we had a lot of fun with unlimited beverages. The only thing is they keep you in a group and with other boats around it got a little crowded as where my son and I separated from the group.

Christian_E, Feb 2017
Well... The tour was very expensive and for that price quiet mediocore/low quality..... 1. the trip started very late, like over an hour later when we had to be at the meeting point 2. we have had very view time on Isla de Mujeres- 1,5 hours! and nearly everyone was very tired at that time 3. The snorkeling stops were very overfilled tourist places... nothing special at all and we had to hurry a lot, you couldnt see a lot of fishes because the stops were very deep and we were forced to wear swimwests... 4. the guide was very unprofessional as he left a girl crying with panic in the water, my boyfriend got seasick and was vomiting and even wasnt waiting for him and asking if he feels good/better. At the end my sick bf was watching for the little crying girl... 5. Food and Drinks were very! mediocore... 6. we were hurried a lot and pushed to sell us stuff as 1 hour golfcar for 600 pesos :D at the end we were on time on the boat and had to wait for the others who went out with the golfcar 7. at the end the staff was saying that they were working voluntary on the trip no wages and were begging for tips 8. For 75 Dollars?! the transport to that meeting point, which is kind of outside the center/hotel zone could be AT LEAST included one tip for you guys: I have already been 2 years ago to Isla de Mujeres- but we went by our own by ferry there. At Isla de Mujeres we bought a very good and economic tour for less than 300 pesos which was private, they took us out for private and not overfilled snorkelstops with loads of fishes, the lunch was also very nice... and at the end you could spend as much time on the Island as you wanted....

This was one of our favorite tours...

Susan W, Dec 2016
This was one of our favorite tours of our trip! Departure was from Cancun Bay Resort and check in was easy. The Gulf was rough and we got a bit seasick going over. The swim/snorkle did not help with the nausea but was still fun. We had our own gear borrowed their fins and that was for the best. Their snorkles did not look very efficient. Our stop for lunch was some of the best food we had but the beach was very crowded and there were no chairs for us. The next boat ride took us to the downtown area for shopping. We did not purchase much but enjoyed looking at all the shops...folks were a bit pushy to come in and look. After about 1 hour it was time to return to Cancun. The drinks flowed freely every time we were on the boat and the crew was great! It was a much better trip than going on the ferry because we were taken right to the best places. Great trip!

Whenever we go abroad on holiday, we do try to go on a Catamaran trip, however this time I had booked the day out on the trimaran Lupito from seeing the promotional video. Initially my wife felt disappointed by the small size of the vessel, however having put to sea and noting the smaller number onboard and that it was not a booze fueled trip sat back and relaxed into our day, don't get me wrong the drink flowed as much as you wanted. Having stopped for snorkelling we then stopped off on Isla Muyeres from lunch, although we took part in photographic session with a nurse shark in hind sight we realised how cruel this was due to the small pen in which the shark was housed. After lunch we then got back on the boat and travelled along the coast to the main town. Having spent nearly 2 hours we then boarded the boat back to Cancun. The staff on the Lupito were fantastic, not only providing the entertainment they were excellent guides. If you don't want a boat trip mobbed with booze fueled people this is a definite trip to do

Jorge_R, Aug 2016
So, the open bar is good! However I felt a little too crowded on the boat. The music was really low and the spirit and enthusiasm from the guides wasn't really there. We didn't start drinking shots until the end of the cruise. We saw other boats ad they looked like they were having more fun than us. On the plus side the snorkeling, Isla Mujeres and the short pit stop we made at the beach was awesome! amazing views of the island and the water was spectacular! If you like a low calm atmosphere this is for you, but if you like to party make sure you take the Party Cruise 2 to 3 levels party boat.

Linda_F, Aug 2016
My daughter and I enjoyed this fun trip very much. WE LOVED EDGAR Shrek who is such a sweetheart. We've snorkeled many places and this was not the best snorkeling we've ever seen but it was nice. The buffet was OK at Isla Mujeres but getting to touch/hold a nurse shark was unexpected and very cool. The beach we stopped at for the buffet was OK but the water was quite shallow and we didn't have much room to really swim. I truly believe this trip would not be as good if it were not for our dear EDGAR Shrek. We just love him!!!

Nice trip. Would have loved to have seen more fish and more time while scuba diving.

My husband and I decided to do this...

Aracelis V, Jul 2016
My husband and I decided to do this tour because I wanted a more exclusive experience at Isla Mujeres rather than taking the ferry there like most people do. We took a bus from our hotel to Cancun Bay Hotel which was the meeting point. Staff from the trimaran greeted us outside and ushered us to the dock area. When we got on board, we were very cramped, sitting next to each other on assigned spots. The snorkeling activity was optional, so my husband and I as well as other guests remained on the trimaran, planning on enjoying music and drinks. However, the snorkeling guide was also the bartender, and the staff that remained on the boat did not seem too pleased to be serving drinks. Also, some other guests got sea sick, and staff did not seem happy to be cleaning up after them either. Some non-spanish speaking or english-speaking guests were having trouble with their snorkeling gear and the crew was not very helpful, including making rude comments amongst themselves. I guess they didn't know or did not care that there were bilingual passengers onboard that were overhearing their comments. When arriving to Isla Mujeres, we waited a long line to take a picture with a nurse shark. They sell these pictures to you at the end of your cruise, so they do not allow you to take your own photos with your camera. In general the tour was ok, but many aspects could be improved. We observed as the atmosphere on other boats and catamarans seemed a lot livelier and fun than our own.

Frank D, Jun 2016
The tour was a pretty long day. And we were ready to get back and they stopped the boat to let people ride the spinacure on the front of the boat. Good was so so. Hotdogs some soogie nachos and spaghetti. Snorkeling was pretty good. And the guide did not always provide both laguages

Lunch buffet disappointing! Wish there was longer time at isla mujeres

VERY disappointing! NOT all...

JeanBryan_C, Jun 2016
VERY disappointing! NOT all inclusive. Lunch was the pits and did not include drinks. Safety did not seem to be a high priority. They supposedly called out Lupita the name of the boat regularly but if your head is under water you don't hear it. The lead guys had a life savor but no colored flag on top to identify. the are was VERY CROWDED with many boats/snorkelers. The museum was covered with algae and hard to discern. My mask/snorkel was totally not adjustable and I took in a lot of sea water or didn't and couldn't see anything! The only positive part was a great couple we met on the boat and spent time with. Actually, the Spinnaker Swing was fun, EXCEPT you have to be a REALLY STRONG swimmer to then swim against the current to the back of the boat. I am a strong swimmer and I had a heck of a time getting there!! I would vote against this tour every time.

Gene U, Jun 2016
The cruise was great, although the choppy water make the snorkeling challenging and some on the boat got motion sickness. Also, the lunch is not that great. Having said that, the cruise again was beautiful, touring Isla Mujeres in a golf cart was an enjoyable experience, and the crew/staff were fantastic.

The snorkeling was not very good...

Robert_S, May 2016
The snorkeling was not very good here. Very little fish to see and a few cement things under water. The island was nice and the crew was great. Improve the snorkeling and it would be a fantastic trip.

Khadijah_F, May 2016
Best excursion I've ever been on! I've been on excursions in Jamaica, Nassau, and Grand Cayman Islands. This was my first trip to Cancun and I highly recommend this one. The tour guides were awesome Shrek is the lead tour guide. They kept the drinks coming and were able to answer any questions we had about the different stops we made. They kept doing a headcount to make sure everyone was on board when it was time to leave the island and head back to the boat. The boat was clean and the restroom onboard was clean.

charles b, Mar 2016
Not exactly what we expected. It was more of a Spring Break Booze Cruise than a what we were looking for. Felt like a bunch of sardines packed onto the catamaran w/ absolutely no shade for 5 hours.

Melissa A, Mar 2016
This was a really good cruise as long as you don't mind a bit of a party barge atmosphere which we didn't. The music was loud and the drinks flowing. It was a great mix of activities and introduction to Isla Mujeres. The crew was amazing!!

PATRICK C, Feb 2016
Hoped to go snorkeling but sea was so choppy that everyone was exhausted when they got back on board. Not a proficient swimmer but have snorkeled twice on the Great Barrier Reef, and also at Key Largo and hoped to descend the stairs into the water but staff were having none of it and wanted us to jump off side of boat - no thank you. Buffet very nice and plenty of it, Shops on Isla Mujeres were intimidating, would have preferred a quieter place where we could go for a walk. Naturally the fibre glass finish on the boat could'nt be smooth and have everyone slide off into the sea, but the sandpaper finish left me unable to sit properly for a few days. On that bum note I'll finish. .

This trip was great. Friendly professional staff who took care of us really well. Food was really good and lots of rum and tequila. The snorkelling was amazing as we got to see the underwater museum sea was rough so need to be a decent swimmer. Boat was just a nice size and was not too crowded Would definitely recommend this trip

It was a nice sized boat and kept the experience more intimate. The crew supplied us withe drinks the whole time. The snorkeling was cool because we saw the underwater museum but the water was rough and I would recommend being a decent swimmer. Spent some time on the beach while we were at isla mujeres. Everything went really quickly but it was a good day and the water was beautiful.

Ola S, Oct 2015
loved the tour, had a really good day, funny day as it was raining heavily at first we nearly decided to change the date, glad we didnt. the guides/sailors were very nice and friendly, very happy. the boat was very clean, lots of drinks. the water was so clear and so blue extremely beautiful. I didn't see much when we went snorkelling but not the guides fault. I'm not a very good swimmer at all and felt comfortable in the water with the help of the guides. We were supposed to go to the underwater museum as well but the waves were too rough, again out of their control. We rented a golf cart in Isla Mujeres, best way to see the island quickly, had so much on this. I was sceptical about the food at the buffet I am very fussy! but it was delicious! would def recommend and I would do this again!
