Itinerary
Make your own way to the marina, check in with your host, and pay the dock fee. Then, at 10am, climb aboard your cruise ship and launch into the party mood with a drink from the open bar.
As you set sail on the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, feel the rhythm of onboard music and chat with your fellow revelers. Your first stop is at one of the region’s best reefs, where you’ll don snorkel gear and plunge into an underwater wonderland full of tropical fish.
After working up an appetite, return to the boat to dry off. Then, drop anchor at Isla Mujeres and enjoy a hearty buffet lunch at a private beach club, washed down with more included drinks.
There’s time explore the paradise island independently, perhaps shopping for souvenirs, taking pictures, or lounging on the white-sand beaches.
Finally, climb aboard the boat and relax with more drinks during the return journey to the marina, where your tour concludes.

Our group had so much fun I would totally do this again and recommend to others in the future. The snorkeling was a little hectic but still fun, and the food and drinks at Isla Mujeres were great. All of the staff was so kind and fun. This trip was also the perfect length.

It was not the best catamaran experience, this was my 4th excursion like this. The crew was fun and did their best on a rainy day and lots of Waves. Unfortunately there was no snorkeling. However when we were about to reach the island we were asked to pay 20 per person to rent a golf cart to explore the island. And we basically were forced to Pay or wouldn’t make it to the private beach club/food. This was not listed in any description of the tour. So we payed 70 pp upfront on Viator, then 20pp at the marina, then another 20pp for the golf cart. 110 total per person.
The crew tried to keep the drinks coming but they had limited options and the sugary drink were made with fake sugar. Only served one type of Beer.
The buffet/food was limited and we only had time to make a plate then they closed it down.
We only stopped at one site seeing place on the island.
Other than that it was mainly the shops selling you stuff right when you got off the boat.

I already talked to Viator customer service, about this situation. You did take the full tour. at the moment of check in they explain to you about the snorkel been cancel due to the currents of the ocean and it was for everybody safety not to do the snorkel, you and the rest of the passeger were inform and you with your friends decide to go on the Catamaran.
at the moment of check in they give you the option to take the tour or not, and refund your money back, but yet you and your friends took it. golf cart are not included and is on writing on your reservation in the area of NOT INCLUDED.
Your tour was on April 02/2026, and your are asking for money back today April 06/2026... if the tour was so bad, why you did not file the complain right on the spot? how ever you waited 4 days and now write this review making us look bad? no Miss Marissa, we are here to work and make the best days for everybody, because here by working is how we get our salary.

Fun filled day! My favorite part was the guided tour on golf carts around Isla Mujeres.
I didn’t know about the tequila tasting so that was a nice surprise. The staff was amazing and made it a great experience!

Our experience was mostly horrible.
1. They had guest wait at restaurant for 30 minutes before loading on boat deck.
2.Me and my husband was told by male staff that we can come join in snorkel group anytime. When me and my husband was ready to get in ocean. A female staff snatched our snorkel gear off of us.
3.We was not told prior to booking event that guest are required to pay $70 USD per group for golf carts during 'Las Mujeres' tour once on island and boat pictures are $30 USD .
4. After island tour, all guest was told we could not eat or purchase items at any store on island.
5. Everyone on boat had to wait to eat at 230pm to eat lunch on different sland.
6. Majority staff had bad behavior and negative attitudes towards guest.
We both would not recommend this excursion for anyone.

We are sending this review to the general manager from the Catamaran that way he takes action about the behavior and the negative attitudes towards guest.
But not before I explain you points and that way our future guest read about it:
You do have to wait at the El Restaurante los pececitos since you are not the only person doing check in, there is a time that we send you prior to your arrival where is wrote like this:
Check in time 8:30 am, check in closes 9:30 am, you are being given a margin of 1 hour to check in. Not all customers are close by, some of them are traveling from Playa del carmen to cancun to do the check in. so that is why we send this message, it does not mean that as soon as you check i,the Catamaran was going to depart, how ever we thank you for been on time.
It is written that the additional fees are the client's responsibility. And since we don't sell these additional fees, we have no idea of the cost of the golf carts or the photos. Reason? Because each company has its own promotions. And if I put the cost in writing and when you arrive at your destination and it's different... just like you wrote this comment, you could have written that we told you that golf cart rental is $50 USD and that you paid $70, and then you would have said that I lied to you and wanted to take advantage. That's why it clearly states in writing what the tour includes and what it doesn't include... that being said, all the additional fees you purchase, whether cheap or expensive, are your responsibility. Regarding what they told you not to buy... how is it possible that they're suggesting that you don't have to buy anything if you don't want to., as a suggestion, if you approach a store and they want to sell you something and you don't want to... the guide suggests that if you don't want to, don't buy it.
The tour has a time to arrive at the beach club... again, the tour wasn't just for you and your husband. There's a schedule to follow, and at the beach club, there are two restaurants; each one is prepared for the different catamarans that arrive at the beach club. Because a Beach Club can accommodate visitors as well as tourists from other boats.
What makes the most noise to me is your comment about the staff's attitude and behavior. And do you know why? Because here at the destination, we follow the internal regulations to serve our passengers as they deserve. They are not allow having a bad image and attitude. If they aren't available and have the best attitude on the day they work, they are given the day off to rest or perhaps fix a non-work-related situation and resolve it so they feel better. Stress often causes empathy, and clients like you who come on vacation need the least of all a negative attitude from a guide or an entire staff member.

I had an amazing time at the boat party! Dax, our host, was absolutely incredible—funny, energetic, and truly the life of the party. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, as he made the effort to talk to everyone and make us all feel welcome.
We did a lot during the trip, and for the price, it was totally worth it. The atmosphere was great and the energy was high the entire time.
My only suggestions would be to improve the check-in process—it took quite a while and standing in that long line wasn’t fun. Also, I think the music could be more inclusive. About 95% of the playlist was Spanish music, but there were a lot of Americans on our boat, so it would've been nice to hear more hip-hop, reggae, or a better mix of English songs.
Overall, a great experience and I’d definitely do it again!

You get charged an extra 20.00 American for "dock fees" at the last minute that Noone tells you about. It's the principle. Why am I paying a boat company for their dock fees? They don't fix the docks. Loose boards everywhere. The buffet? Almost completely vegetables. Onions! Onions! Onions! Golf Cart rental Isla De Mujeres? Bumper to bumper golf carts. People literally stopping every five feet to photograph something. Could not enjoy myself. The cruise there were more boats than water! Maximized tourists on boat. Not much room. I sat in the back with more space because EVERY tour is overcrowded. Too many boats too many people. Not a great time

Unfortunately, the dock fee is a fee that everyone here in Cancun pays for any aquatic activity they do, and that is paid directly at the time of check-in at any marina. What they do with that money really does not concern us since we have no knowledge.
You come to a tourist place where there will be people who also come to see and enjoy a day in the Caribbean. Your tour was shared and unfortunately there are already many catamarans from other companies and therefore there will be more people who do not necessarily mean that it is us. There are many tour operators here that also do the tour to Isla Mujeres, that is why sometimes when they have a complaint they generalize and we are not all the same company.
My suggestion in the future, get a quote for a private tour, believe me, they are much more relaxed and you can do it to your liking, and you will not have details of what you do not like and it will be completely comfortable for you. Obviously you will have to pay the price of a private tour for what you paid for being shared.

Threre was no time for anything and the go cart rental is a waste. The boat was to small to have a party and the drinks were weak.

Rental golf cart is an additional activity as in not included.
Catamarans are not small. they are over 40¨ long. There is a measure for making all drinks, since not all customers are the same, there are some who drink in moderation, others stronger on this occasion and as on other occasions, the customer has the freedom to ask for a little more alcohol in their drink.

Please when you book the tour it is on writing what is included and was is not. if is does not is on writing means is not included like the golf cart, that aditional cost as the scuba dive, as the pictures and everything you do additional.
Right now there is seaweed on the Ocean and we can not help to get the smell out because the ocean brings the seaweed on the beach and it has a particular smell. The bathroom are well take care of it,and about the flies unfortunatly are every where. as far as the food you know there ain inside a big containers with big lids, if a customer leaves the conteiner open, it may be a fly around it but not cover as you are writing.
Every detail you wrote here for everybody to read is taking care of.

The Catamaran Trip was canceled due to strong winds (weather). My party and I spend over $125.00 to get a taxi ride to the meeting spot. We should have been notified of the cancelation prior to us arriving. And I still haven't received a full refund.

With all the respect you deserve, our maritime authorities inform us about the weather, and unfortunately we do not have control over the weather or the time when the weather is going to turn bad either, we are not fortune tellers or anything like that. If we had the power to guess, I would have gladly told you a day before, and in the same way... How will I know if you pay what you say, you can tell me that you pay up to $200, but that's only you. we dont know anything of what you do or don't. If the tour was canceled due to bad weather, you should be grateful as we safeguard the lives of both our crew and you as guests.
And if the authorities say NO, we can do absolutely nothing. more than following orders from the port captain.
You were given the option to reschedule for another day and if you were unable to reschedule, you will receive a full refund. It should be noted that we DO NOT CHARGE you, which is why we send the notification for your refund to the people who charged your card. We do not charge you anything, remember that you booked the tour online and here we provide the service.

The snorkeling felt like some kind of navy seal training...the boat was packed tight not alot of room dancing for a party boat. We still had fun but definitely wouldn't recommend it

We are sorry about this situation, but first of all this is a Catamaran is not a yatch or a deck boat, this is to sail to isla mujeres, and does not have a dance floor at all. you can dance in your place or arriving at the beach club, but not in the Catamaran, our customers one way or another find a way to enjoy the tour and have fun.

We had the smallest cheapest broken boat at the island , we had other boats screaming saying we had a terrible boat, they didn’t have enough snorkels , the instructor was screaming to hurry up and jump in like it was life or death , everyone at the buffet was so hungry and they ran out of everything , we had other people coming to our tables asking for food , their sound system barely working which was a speaker tied to the top of the boat , looked like they built the boat themselves , all the girls refused to use the toilet ,there “live entertainment is a guy with tequila in a used Gatorade bottle squirting in your mouth , and to top it off they lost a guy snorkeling and he ended up getting on another boat , they didn’t seem as worried as everybody else , pay the extra few dollars and go somewhere else , I been here many of times and invited friends who never been before and I felt second hand embarrassment

What a shame that you refer to a 45-foot Catamaran as a small broken boat. First of all we don't have boats. And certainly to navigate we have to have a quality standard to go out to the ocean and not endanger the lives of our passengers. All Catamarans have a limited capacity to go on them and certainly the capacity is not overly limited.
About the food I greatly believe that you are exaggerating. Because no one is left without food, it is impossible since it is planned according to the day and the number of passengers the day before so as not to lack food.
I can't apologize for something that I know doesn't happen, like customers running out of food.
I am sure from the description you make that you got on another boat that was not ours and you are making the comment on our tour.
Please contact me directly next time. We do take care of our clients and you, in your case, should have communicated your disagreement at the time, but since now everyone thinks they are an influencer and uses the social network to discredit the great work that everyone does to be able to give you a pleasant vacation. it's not fair. Because now I will be taking extreme measures because of your comment and someone has to be responsible, if not one, it will be everyone who ran the tour operation that day.

Booked with my group and didn’t get to go on the same boat. Said we we would be right with them but the boat we got put on left over and hour later. Didn’t even get to see the group on the island either.

Well Mr. Jack when we have groups we dont break apart the groups I honestly dont know what happend but ir weird because they did not send any notification and you are taking advantage of writing a bad comment, when everything is resolved at the moment, no one is denied being in the same group and you would not have been the exception. there are manager, tour guide and also myself and no one say anything about it.

The people were fantastic, they did what they could with what they were given. I think they even went above and beyond. Jo Jo joane and the cocktail guy were really fun.
The boat itself was frankly not really a ridable boat, we had to climb through wires and in areas with no rails to move around, it was scary and dangerous. There were maybe 10 seats that were comfortable and at least 15 of us, so many were sitting on the floor, which was covered in water most of the time.
The drinks on board came in pitchers, and we're limited to some terrible sweet blue drink, margaritas, and beer. Both cocktails were watered down because they had ice in them that quickly melted in the warm day and were all just warm by the end of the ride.
It was a big bummer, I've been on a few of these cruises and this one was just unacceptably poorly planned and managed, and felt so dangerous.

The staff does an unbelievable job making the most of your experience 💯 they take you snorkling then on a tour where you stop on the beach front at two separate locations before quickly going around the island. The staff make the most of your boat cruise experience. Its a nice little day trip and the buffet on the island, as well, tequila tasting was great. Definitely worth the money and we tipped the staff for bringing the great energy🥰❤

Fun cruise but not a typical “booze cruise” Mixed drinks and beer are served, but drinks were a bit watered down, tasted like juice mostly. The boat we were were on was difficult to get on and off of. BUT the crew’s service was great, super friendly and accommodating. Views were gorgeous! Snorkeling was beautiful, but wish the experience was a little more guided (it was literally jump in and explore) the guide kept whistling for us to keep up with his partner, but everyone was scattered. I’ve done snorkeling before where there’s a guide rope and everyone is guided along the snorkeling path together, this one felt very much independent.
The first stop to the beach club was nice, but it’s a two hour stop; which a long time for just a beach. Facilities/beach club was nice, clean, but the lunch was terrible! I took two bites. It did not taste or look fresh. The second stop was more lively, had shops and restaurants, but you’re only there for an hour. Wish that stop was longer.
Overall nice excursion if you want to explore a new island and snorkel.

The ocean views where incredible, the first stop was the best area of Isla Mujeres, didn’t really care for the second stop in the North part of the Inland. Too crowded and not really good área to swim. The service was good. The food was not that great.

The fact that we were on the ocean and smelling the salty air and feeling the warm air and seeing the crystal blue waters and the occasional sea turtle peak it’s head out of the water is the only thing we enjoyed. The snorkeling was more of a super hurried sea swim, very little snorkeling. The lunch was not great and you really don’t get to spend much time at Isla Muejers (or at least the beautiful beaches part). I would recommend finding something different - very disappointed.
The staff was great but the event itself is awful!

Do not do shared tours where there is a protocol to follow in times.
there is a time for snorkeling, there is a time for lunch, there is a time for isla mujeres. We cannot do what you have in mind to do.
Dear readers, you can read that:
***They enjoyed (were on the ocean and smelling the salty air and feeling the air and seeing the crystal blue waters and the occasional sea turtle peak it's head out of the water). That a Bless to see a sea turtle! we dont see them on regular bases! what a honor to be able to see it.
***The snorkeling was more of a super hurried sea swim, very little snorkeling ( this is a 35 minute snorkel, it feels like time flies by, it's true because I've done it and it seems like 10 minutes, when in actually swim, go against the currents and see the underwater life time goes by fast)
**** The lunch was not great (is a buffett with a variety for all tastes)
****you really don't get to spend much time at Isla Muejers (or at least the beautiful beaches part)...Well in this case you are on the island in the downtown for 1 hour is a free time to do what ever you want to do. It is not promoted as: taking you to the beaches... you can go wherever you want in your free time, but to stay on a beach you would need more time on the Island, at least for about 3 hours, but you are doing a TOUR.
****The staff was great... I really don't understand, sometimes there are clients that are so difficult to please, we do everything possible to keep you happy and that you have an excellent day with us.
But clients like you, it is better that you do not do tours, and do everything on your own,
So that way if you are going to complain, you will do it about yourselves and not about a company that apparently and by your own hand writing everything was done well.
You are absolutely right... for the next time YOU, find something better to do, since apparently, even if the service is good, nothing is enough for you.

Did not board the boat that was originally given, boarded onto a much smaller boat, wasn't made aware of changes until time to board, no party on the boat, 1 toilet had to throw used tissue in a bucket beside the toilet. Colored armbrand could only be used at Mexican buffet on Isla Mujeres wasn't made aware of this prior to purchase. EXPERIENCE WAS AWFUL! I HAD A PARTY OF 5 THAT ENDED UP BEING 3 AFTER CHANGES. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

What you did is deliberate fraud since your 2 friends did not even board and you complained about everything when what is included in the tour is in writing.
And after doing all the activity he is deliberately asking for a refund! If the experience was so unpleasant for you, you would have returned, but you completed the activity nonetheless.
You should be ashamed of what you write because unfortunately tour operators do not allow us to make reviews from passengers who believe they deserve everything like kings. If you want a first class service so much... book a PRIVATE tour so that it is to your complete satisfaction.
