Our guide was very friendly and kind, However, the tour focused more on shopping and hotel pickups than sightseeing. I would have appreciated more information about the landmarks and areas we passed..
At Market 28, staff were helpful in locating items, (a bit dishonest and about themselves to connect with you) Prices weren’t disclosed until checkout even after requests to provide that info as we went along. It made the checkout process uncomfortable as you bargained at the cash register while people waited behind you,
Later at Plaza de Mexico The tequila and cacao museum was disappointing: a small exhibit with a video and mannequin displays, Those interested primarily in tastings may enjoy it, but I had hoped for a more informative experience.
They did provide complimentary water and beer on the bus, no soda. The cold water was nice for the hot temps.
Our final stop was the Cancún sign at Playa Delphines Beach, where the long line for a pic prompted everyone on our bus to stay aboard.
Overall, I would have preferred more local history and sightseeing from a guide we could understand more clearly and less time devoted to shopping.
The vendor called me stating they booked me under the wrong date and unable to pick me up the day required. This error made me very angry as I booked the trip many months in advance
We had the whole bus to ourselves. We had a great time. Tony the guide is amazing and very knowledgeable. Now as far as the stops. The first stop I think we could have done without honestly. As soon as the bus pulled up people came rushing the bus. We barely got a chance to get off when people were swarming us and asking us to do tails tastings and showing us stuff they wanted us to buy. There was an older lady who followed us around and was trying to get us to purchase things. She was nice. We were talking to her as we were shopping. We found two shirts as souvenirs for our boys. We went to pay and the cashier told us our total was MX $735. My partner speaks Spanish so my corner confirmed it was for both shirts. The cashier told her “yes both”. We paid and started heading to the bus because we were right at the time we were supposed to be back. The older lady who was helping us runs out and starts telling us that there was a mistake with the price. She said we were only charged for one shirt. My partner tells the lady that she asked and was told it was for both because there was no way they were charging $40 per shirt. (We also would not have purchased them if they were $40 per shirt) So she says no that’s for one shirt. If you don’t pay they’ll take it out of my salary. I told my partner to just give her one of the shirts back. If we had more time I would of told them to take the other shirt back too and give us our money back. When we got to the next stop they had the exact same shirts for $20 a piece. So I wouldn’t purchase anything at the first stop. I would wait for the next stop.
Tony shared a lot of history about Cancun and had great sense of humor! Provided lots of great information on and when Cancun was built.

We had a fantastic experience on the Cancun sightseeing double-decker bus tour! It was such a fun and relaxing way to explore the city while learning about its history. Our tour guide, I believe his name was Tony, was outstanding—very knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire tour enjoyable.
The tour included a stop at Mercado 28, which was great to visit. However, since we had already been to Mercado 23 before the tour, I personally preferred Mercado 23 for shopping because the prices were better, and the people there were some of the warmest and friendliest we've ever met.
If you're visiting Cancun and want an easy way to see the city and learn about its history, I highly recommend this tour. The complimentary beer and bottled water were a nice bonus too! 😅 Definitely worth it!
From the arrival with the music all the way to the hotel we had a great time.Our tour guide spoke both English and Spanish.The spoke was fun very educational on some of the history and places.We got refreshments as well on our tour.It was a fun sightseeing tour thank you until next time.The only thing I didn’t like which he warned us and I guess I didn’t listen was the first souvenir shop was a ripped off.Don’t buy anything from them it’s too expensive but the second souvenir shop has the same stuff and much cheaper with a discount and a free gift.Other than that experience at the first shop everything else was worth it.
This was a very pleasant and festive tour, the tour guide was very informative, highly recommend this tour.
This isn't a real cancun tour. Just tourist shops. Super boring. Oh and, they sent me and 3 ladies into the WRONG taxi for drop off. They didn't even provide legit transportation. Such a sketchy experience. 10/10 do not recommend. No cancun photo either. Just drove by. The safety is my biggest issue. Sending us in the wrong vehicle is absolutely unacceptable. I could have been kidnapped or hurt. Very disappointed that I wasted a day on this trip. Boring boringggg.
The chocolate tasting is basically you going to a store that sale a lot of things and there 7 different small pieces of chocolate at the checkout counter you can eat. The same store has area where they have a display on how to make tequila. There was 3 different vehicles they used to transport me and 6 other people on our tour. A van, a double decker bus then a taxi. At the end of our tour 4 people were told that the trees would get in the way of double decker bus so we would get dropped off to our hotels in a different vehicle. Next thing we know we standing on the street and Tony is waving down a taxi that is passing by and tells us to get in. About 20 minutes into the ride the company send me a message through whatsapp saying that is not the taxi they ordered for us. It was then that we realized Tony had us get in a random taxi driver car without speaking to him to verify if he’s our driver. From that point things got a little crazy but then we got in contact with the office who explained what happened to the taxi driver who dropped the first young lady off but took the remaining 3 ladies to the wrong hotel. We had to explain with the help of a translation app where to drop us off at. It was a great time until it was time for us to be dropped off at our hotels.

It was a great guided tour with shopping and tequila tasting stops. Tony was very knowledgeable and his driver can maneuver the tight turns with ease.
Be flexible if there is any hiccups along the way. They will make it up to you in the trip. Very friendly and they have a positive attitude.
Meh. Spent most our time trying to understand a bad sound system or sitting in tourist traps. Not what I had in mind.
Bring food with you. All the shopping is for souvenirs, which is great, but only snack items were available to eat.
Our tour, tour guide and driver were amazing. Our tour guide explained everything in Spanish & English. Also, the refreshments on board was a plus.
A lot of time on bus ,but tour guide was informative. Lots of time at crappy, over priced markets. It was a good thing to do on an off and on rainy day
It was more than I expected. Good overall points traveled, time to shop, experience at the educational point and a very patient tour guide and skilled driver. Thanks for a good day Tony!

It was probably one of the worst tours I've ever taken in Cancun. Hot bus, no air conditioning. It said the tour included water and beer but we were never offered anything, in fact I finally had to buy my own drink. At the shopping places you are hounded constantly, never a moment just to look. I would not do this again.
The Mayan ruins stop was good and interesting. Beware of mosquitoes. At the first shopping stop beware. As in most Mexican cities, the salesmen are aggressive, annoying and in your face. I hated it! I am more out to buy at a store where the salesman does not follow me around and is pushy. The second stop for souvenirs with much better and I did buy something there.
Songs from cityside since an interesting murals. Getting stuck in slow moving traffic going back to our resort I was not fun. 4 hour tour turned into six.
Plenty of room on the bus. Lively music. Tony was a very personable and knowledgeable tour guide. Please bring insect repellent to apply at the ruins otherwise be prepared to be the meal of the day for aggressive mosquitoes. Tequila was delicious and they were great.
Con: being bombarded by the staff at the jewelry store as soon as you get off the bus at Mercado 28 you spend the majority of your shopping time fighting them off.
It was a fun day to get a trip around the city.
We chose pick up and were very surprised to be picked up by the whole tour bus, lol. We had a smaller group so the tour felt very personal which was a great experience. Our tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us a chance to visit everything listed. Our bus driver was a great driver and also did well to drive safely. We did four stops in total and were able to shop and taste tequila! Seeing the rest of Cancun made us be able to think about what another trip here would look like. Saw many locals who were all very friendly. Be prepared to shop and bargain! Got picked up at 9:45 and was back at the resort before 3. Probably best to go with a partner or a group instead of solo.
Only 8 of us it was a nice tour but the bus broke down near the end and we had to wait 45 mins for a van so alittle disappointed
Was able to experience the viewing of Mexico. Wasn't rushed and enjoyed the free drinks. Would go back again anytime. Also I was able to KFC. If you know then you know lol.
Our Tour Guide Tony was the best. He really made our time in Cancun memorable. We highly recommend this experience
The tour was okay and the stops were okay, especially the Mayan ruins. However, since this is a sightseeing tour with references to landmarks in passing, the type of vehicle used did not provide equal visibility to all passengers. We sat in the back seats of a 21-seater bus with two step-up seating levels. We could not see the landmarks being pointed out in passing. We literally had to bend down our heads to look through the small portion of the window to catch glimpses of a few buildings. (We didn’t see the landmarks). Otherwise, we would primarily see only the street and sidewalks. Additionally, the tour guide did not use a microphone and spoke in a moderate tone, at times his back was turned to us, as he identified landmarks, so hearing him was difficult if you were seated in the last two rows, as we were. I recommend a larger vehicle with better 360 visibility for all and a microphone for the tour guide. Otherwise, the tour was okay; tour guide seemed knowledgeable and was very pleasant, our driver as well, who was very helpful. Lastly, it may have been an unfortunate oversight, but we didn’t get any beverage (water/drink/beer) as advertised, unless we misunderstood. The tour does not pick up passengers outside of the “hotel zone” so be prepared to pay extra for an uber or taxi to and from the designated pickup point, if you are elsewhere. Tour company does make on time pickups.
Great to get a little tour around Cancun for new travelers. If you want to shop around for souvenirs this is perfect!
This was a wonderful experience for me and my sister. And the tour guides we had Tony and oh my goodness I can't remember our drivers name but they were awesome. I would recommend this tour to everyone. We got to see the island and lots of history plus taste lots of tequila and chocolate. We are planning another trip to bring our adult children back and when we do this is going to be one of our tours.
Tony was very informed. Water and beer was offered. Air conditioning in vehicle. The tour itself was ideal to learn about the city and history.
Maybe a bit longer for shopping could be offered.
