The pickup/drop off to the hotel was longer than the actual “tour.” Everything felt so rushed. All it really was is just a drive up a hill to take pictures and that was it. When we arrived at the hill, there was another group there, yet we left before they did. There was no helmet, no drink, no chance to ride again before heading back like they promised in their package and the “guide” was very greedy about tip, kept asking for more

Not worth it if you enjoy ATVs

So the best part of my tour was the driver Ahmed, he was funny and kind. Made the pick up and drop off enjoyable. Unfortunately this is not the tour that is promised. There is no tour of Giza nor is there an admission fee because your ATVing in a desert like field next door. I was under the impression we'd be driving around them since that's what the pictures look like. Your time seems to start once your driver drops you off and you take a 7-10 min ride to the field passing through the streets. One of the young workers drove the whole way there then stopped to take pictures with the pyramids distant in the background. Once he was done with the pictures he said its time to go back. I stated that I hadn't drove yet. He let me drive acouple rounds. I'd say about 10 mins then we drove back. This was not what I expected from an ATV tour which I've completed many in other countries. I'd advise choosing another company if you actually enjoy riding ATVs.

Our ATV tours take place in a designated desert area near the Giza Plateau, which is clearly stated as a desert riding experience with panoramic pyramid views, not an archaeological tour inside the Giza complex. For this reason, no admission ticket is included, as riding ATVs is not permitted within the official pyramid grounds. Regarding timing, the tour duration includes transportation, safety instructions, riding time, and return, in line with local regulations and safety standards. However, we regret if this was not communicated clearly on the day of your visit or if you felt rushed during the experience. This is certainly not the level of clarity or satisfaction we aim to provide. Wild desert drive

Our driver from our hotel name was GoGo, he was incredible navigating the roads and getting us safely to each location. Hazem was our host, very hospitable. On the way we stopped at jewelry, scarves, papyrus art, spices and finally sunset with Mustafa our 10 year old desert guide. We have done atvs all over the world but that was a thrill of a life time at sunset. My only complaint would be the store stops... if you are willing to throw caution to the wind...give it a try. You wont regret it.

Not worth the money

I did the ATV and camel tour back in December 2024. This honestly is a waste of money. It isn’t a real ATV excursion or ride. It’s basically take it to a dirt field next to the pyramids and take some photos. The machines are terrible and all the guy wanted to do is hang out with his friends and left me to just go right around in circles in a desert field. If you look on Google maps it actually says this area is an old graveyard. The machine they gave me definitely need some work as a suspension was very stiff. The camel ride was even worse. They took me for a stroll down the street and for some reason the guide got on with me at one point. There was sadly even some dead camels on the side of where they took me for a stroll. If you want a picture and a ride with a camel, save it for the actual great pyramid grounds. Those camels aren’t much better health and more picturesque. Save yourself the money.

A fun experience

This activity was great fun. The hotel pick-up was a little late, but better late than never. Egyptian traffic can be wild at the best of times, so I guess a slight delay can be expected. Our driver was great, very chilled with great music. We arrived at the ATV location and were given a brief explanation of how to operate the ATV. The office location is on a road that leads straight into the desert area. There is a very short safe drive on the road until you reach a dirt-track road that leads into the open desert. If you are not confident riding the ATV alone, don't worry. I was accompanied by .. Who sat on my bonnet area, initially steering and controlling the accelerator and breaks. Gently coaxing me to drive alone. Once in the desert, we were able to ride freely. There were photography stops with the Pyramids in the background. Our guide Adel, was great fun, he gave us a spin on the back of his ATV down a hill, pulling side weelies and including a mini jump. Overall, this was a great experience and highly recommended. My daughters and I loved the whole experience, definitely a fun highlight and memory-building experience. (There were scarves on site to purchase, definitely needed).

No helmets and drinks offered to us plus they rushed to complete the whole session and asked for tips before they completed the tour. Be aware that we had to pass a section of the town and a highway exit before reaching the dessert. Overall, fun and enjoyable.

Not the old bikes, next thing! I could barely accelerate and the worst almost burned me in the right leg from the heat coming out!! Uff bad bad bad, they are not the same ones that have loaded in the advertising, so for me it was a hoax and then they take you to a place is bad state to buy drinking something, no coffee or tea free!! I wanted to make good videos that I pay for something and not a disappointment!!! For old motorcycles and almost without working I do not recommend it!!

Esperienza incredibile, una delle migliori al Cairo. La vista delle piramidi è pazzesca ed il ragazzo che ci ha accompagnato è stato un bravissimo fotografo. L’unico tasto dolente, se proprio bisogna trovarlo, è la strada per arrivare al deserto: sporca ed affollata di persone, mezzi e cavalli. Nel complesso giro stupendo!
