Our guide Alaa was fantastic. He took us to the area that looked a little run down. He reassured us everything was fine. He arranged everything with the quad bike staff and ensured we were supported before we left. Quad biked for over 2 hours, not rushed at all. Taken all around the pyramids, plenty of photos then by the two guided we had. Fantastic experience

We were given a life-changing tour through Egypt and into the Sahara desert's Giza pyramids. The view was amazing, and the ATV ride was incredibly fun. We got to drive our own ATVs through the sandy hills of the desert..so awesome! Our tour guide, Ali, was very professional and cordial while guiding us through towards the ATVs and throughout the desert. He and a couple of other tourmates took action-packed pictures and videos during our drive, and these turned out amazing. Overall, Ali was very friendly and respectful, and took great care of us every single step of the way both starting and ending at our hotel front door. We had no issues at all and would definitely recommend others to use this service for a hell of a ride in the desert!

Verry unfriendly people. The guide guy has sitting on the hood of my atv so all the trip I was able to see just his back, he ask my boyfriend to give him the hat ring for safety, he never return it after trip and in the end of the trip the guide ask for tip, we sayd no but after others "employers" has start to come from nowere and tell us to give some tip to the guide, so we give him. Verry scarry experience

Sometimes, when guests are riding an ATV for the first time, one of our staff members may sit on the front for a short time to help guide and ensure safety. This is only done to assist guests who have never ridden an ATV before. Regarding the scarf ring, the guide kept it temporarily only to prevent it from being lost in the desert during the ride. It was not taken intentionally. It is a very inexpensive item and the intention was simply to keep it safe during the trip. About tipping, it is always optional and guests are never required to give a tip. We apologize if the situation made you feel uncomfortable. We also tried to contact you on the WhatsApp number you provided to clarify the situation, but unfortunately we were unable to reach you. We are a family of 5 with 3 teens. We were picked up by our tour guide Ali and driver Taher at 8.30am and taken to the shop. Quad bikes were lined up outside so we were quickly seated and some instructions were given on safety. The tour guide stays behind and a different guide accompanies you on the desert. This guide sat at front of my son's quad bike and took us for the drive of the route. We set off in a line navigating the city side streets traffic for about 15 mins them reached the desert. We followed the guide on the route on the dunes and stopped for photos with the Pyramids in the background. The drive on the dunes was amazing. It can get dusty so would recommend face coverings. When we stopped a 2nd time at the same spot of the photos break, the guide sat with a man for 10 mins chatting then took 1 of the quad bikes and left. The man approached us and said to sit in shade and offered us water. As water was part of package, we took the water from him but were then charged inflated price for the water. The guide came back and called the tour guide and passed me the phone. A few heated words were exchanged, however we just paid the man and left and continued our drive. Again the actually driving experience is amazing. After about an hour we made our way back to the shop where Ali and driver were waiting to take us back to the hotel. Ali offerred us the money we paid for water as it was supposed to be included, nice gesture but we didnt take it. What to look out for. Take a backpack of water with you, bottles of water were part of our package, however we didnt get any water before we set off on quad drive so were very thirsty in the August mid morning heat. You get the option of times when booking so I picked 8am as start time so expected an earlier pick up time of aroud half 7 but tour guide messaged early morning of day of tour to say 8.30 pick up as the quad bike shop doesnt open until 9. Why give an 8am option then? Check how many hours of driving you are getting and get this confirmed by the tour company beforehand. Our booking clearly stated 2 hours drive plus travel time but 1st thing tour guide said was the 2 hours includes travel time. There are animal carcasses including horses and camels on the route within the city and on the sand dunes so you may want to factor this if taking children.

Guide Rides On The Front Rack

There were four of us on this excursion. The driver that picked us up at our hotel was very nice and was on time. He had a nice car. When we got to the rental location the guide sat on the front rack of my wife’s ATV. We thought he would get his own when we got to the area where we would ride. This was not the case. He rode on the front of her ATV most all of the trip. I think he was suppose to switch from rider to rider but my wife who speaks Arabic told him not to. If I would have known that the guide would be riding on the front rack of one of our ATV’s the whole trip, I would have demanded a refund or he would have had to ridden his own. The guide didn’t want us to go very fast and my wife had to call the operator and tell him to take us to an area where we could go faster. He did but said if people saw us, they would want to do the same. The view of the pyramids was awesome and it was worth going but the way the tour was conducted needs a lot of work. I complained to the tour operator about the guide riding on my wife’s ATV most all of the trip. If the guide rode his own ATV, I would recommend this excursion but unless they change their policy, I would not recommend it. I would contact them and make sure the guide had his own ATV and make them put it in writing.

Extremely negative experience. I do not recommend. I booked this activity and, after realizing I had initially selected the wrong date, I contacted the company and Viator. The change to August 31st was accepted and confirmed, so the activity should take place normally on that day. For several days I tried to get clear information from the operator about the meeting/pickup point, but my messages were practically ignored. On the day of the activity, I continued to try to contact them and even called several times, without getting any help. My reservation included a pickup service, which Viator support later confirmed. Despite this, no one showed up to pick me up and no one correctly informed me where I should be. To not lose an activity that was already paid for, I still had to spend extra money on an Uber and travel on my own, trying to find the location through a vague address. Even making all this effort, the activity ended up not happening. Throughout the entire situation, I was in contact with Viator support, who also tried to speak with the operator without success. It was inclusively indicated to me that a full refund would be requested due to lack of response and non-provision of the service. Later, to my surprise, the operator refused the refund request, despite the activity confirmed for August 31st not having been provided. In other words: I paid for the activity, the pickup was not included, I didn't take the tour, I spent even more money trying to get to the location, and I had huge difficulty getting any response from the company. I have screenshots of all the conversations and all the contact attempts. A tourist activity should not work this way. When a client is in a foreign country, the minimum expected is communication, clear location, and fulfillment of the contracted service. I do not recommend this company. The lack of communication, organization, and responsibility turned what should have been a good experience into a huge waste of time, money, and stress.
