Excellent guide and must say we were thankful for also having a good driver (traffic in Cairo is insane and one will appreciate good and mindful driver more than anywhere else). Quad bike tour was really good and experience in itself. You go through some street where locals live which is an eye opener in itself, you pass many horse riders and then you get to drive across dunes in the desert with excellent views over the pyramids and the city of Cairo. Absolute adventure not to be missed. You get to do some jumps and driving on two wheels too (if you consent). Then we were taken to the pyramids area. The guide we had here was the best out of any guide we had later in Egypt (we had 5 different other guides). Lunch was eeally good too and we were picked up on time and dropped off at the aieport on time too.
Our only suggestion for anyone would be to go to the pyramids first before all the crowds, and do the quad bikes tour later. It would not only allow to enjoy the pyramids better but also would result in a lot less traffic getting in and out and more time actual sight seeing. The heat kicked in too. You have power to tell your preference to the guide.
Also unless you cannot do without shopping, try to avoid repeated suggestions to be taken to a shopping trip. Our guide was fortunately respectful and not too pushy (like others we experienced later).
Also, in our opinion, it is not worth to pay and climb into the Grand pyramid as an extra add on. It is insane hot inside, very small steep corridor and no system. People keep pushing up or down as they climb in the very narrow space. All insane sweaty due to the heat. Unless this changes spare you money and time and admire the pyramids from outside. There is nothing but empty walls inside. The pyramid front restaurants can provide one of the best views anywhere.

Definitely list experience.
We were collected at 9am from Hilton downtown (our guide was early waiting for us) and went straight to Giza.
We had a tour guide and driver all to ourselves (for just 2 of us) not sure is this is the norm as we came here in the peak of summer (low season) but we weren’t complaining.
Our tour guide was amazing, very attentive and helpful. Almost too helpful! Much higher than the service we usually expect.
Not a bad thing at all!
We were provided with sound advice on what to do and not do around the Pyramid sites.
We ended up going inside the main one which was incredible.
Our guide provided insight on all the sights and answered any questions. He is clearly experienced with photos as he took some amazing shots.
We also had to make impromptu stops for sunscreen and a Cotten cloth (I forget what it’s called) to help with the sun, sweating & heat, which our guide facilitated with no worries at all!
The ATV was a highlight. It was a bit confronting at first was there were 2 or 3 dead animals we had to ride past before we got to the desert. But this is to be expected right?
Once we got into the open desert it was truly memorable. Our ATV guide (different to our main guide) was crazy - but in a good way & helped us make most of the dunes!
Lunch was authentic & delicious.
All in all a phenomenal experience. Best of all we still had the entire afternoon free to do other things.

Our tour guide (Mohammed) was very professional. He made the entire tour a memorable experience for my friends and I.

Great day out! Our guide, Mira, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and informative. If you opt to go inside the pyramids, be aware that they are cramped and hot. The ATV/quad bikes were great fun if a little old! Pick up is from a back street and you are taken into the desert surrounding the pyramids. The route they take is through some alleyways and along the perimeter fence. Be warned....it is NOT what we are used to in the Western world. We saw at least 4 dead horses, 2 dead dogs and a dead cat, all pushed up against the fence with the rest of the rubbish. Whilst I accept it's normal to them and how they live, I was surprised they made no effort at all to hide it. It also smells quite bad. If you can stomach that, you'll have a fun day.
