My booking included pick up, lunch and entry tickets. The tour guide arrived as arranged but did not know what museum we were going to. We were obliged to buy our own entry tickets, and he denied any knowledge of our lunch, so we didn't have any. He also spent most of the tour trying to get us to visit a papyrus place, rather than focusing on our museum tour. He was knowledgeable and friendly enough, but did not give us the tour I had paid for. And we were ripped of essentially - no entry fees included and no lunch, both of which were included in my deal.

There was an initial issue with the tittle of the tour. We thought we had bought lunch but it was optional and not expressively said in the tittle.
Our great guide Tito handled this perfectly, a commercial gesture was made and we had a delicious local lunch paid for.
Tito was just amazing. He lives and breathes his work. Your was lively, fascinating and very well documented.
It’s worth spending the money.

A very bad experience. Neither Guide nor driver showed up. We contacted the agency to know what happened but they didn't reply or tried any type of contact afterwards. Viator didn't provide any further explanation either.

We were refused entry even though we bought tickets through you. We had to pay extra to gain entry and for a guide and no lunch included we also had to make our own way there

The guide ran through the museum, spoke rapidly, was not clear or especially knowledgeable. The whole tour lasted 45 minutes in a huge museum. Left us on our own when we enter the Tut exhibit. Wanted to take us to the included lunch at 10:30 am. All in all a very disappointing experience.

After booking this experience, The agency didn't contact me and despite me calling them 10 times, they didn't pick my call.
I showed up on Egypt museum and toured alone.
When I reported this to Viator for refund, I was said -- As per agency I was not reachable and I didn't turn up.
This is completely false, AS I've proof contacting them through A. Whatsapp B. Call C. Viator Chat and not getting any reply

The guide was uneventful. His knwledge of English left much to be desired. He was not interactive nor insightful. We felt that teh cost was prohibitive for teh service was provided.

Honestly I can't recommend getting a tour - my guide left me to my own devices after less than an hour once inside and just left me to wander around. He also made no real effort to try have a conversation with me after I asked about himself so a lot of it was in silence. The lunch is okay but not enough to justify the price. The guide did know some things but I wish he had stayed around and explained more. A bit disappointed given the price - would recommend just going by yourself .

Paula, our tour guide, was amazing. My girlfriend and I were so lucky to have gotten him. He took his time explain everything, answered all our questions and even showed us some hidden gems.
If you decided to do this tour, definitely ask for him. He will not disappoint.

My friends and I signed up for the half day tour that included lunch. We woke up late but our tour guide H or Haitham was very understanding. My friend made a random comment about needing coffee to wake up once we got to the museum and Haitham was ready to go look for it for her.
Even with many artifacts packed away to be moved to the new museum, there was still a lot to see. Haitham was very knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. He had certain artifacts he took us too but was able to explain when we asked questions about other artifacts. Definitely pay to see the mummy rooms. It's crazy seeing the bodies and knowing they lived thousands of years ago.
Lunch was at a restaurant that served kushari. I am an incredibly picky eater but i loved this dish. It's essentially 2 different types of pasta noodles with lentils and chickpeas. Add this tomato sauce mixed with garlic oil and some spicy sauce. Then top it with dried onions. Absolutely delicious.
Overall, half day tour was perfect. Definitely a lot of information to take in so just making it a half day was good. Haitham and driver were great. Would definitely recommend.

We were lucky enough to have Mohammed as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about Ancient Egyptian History and kept us well informed throughout our tour of the Egyptian Museum. Highly recommend this tour and hopefully you will be lucky enough to get Mohammed as your tour guide. Overall very enjoyable day.

ARNAQUE!!!!. Ni le guide ni le chauffeur ne se sont présentés. Nous avons essayé de contacter l'agence let's explore Egypt pour savoir ce qui s'était passé, mais ils n'ont pas répondu ni essayé de nous contacter pour nous prévenir d'un problème. Viator n'a pas non plus répondu à nos appels et mails . Ayant payé par Paypal, nous avons fait une demande de remboursement et là nous recevons un mail de Viator pour savoir pourquoi nous demandons le remboursement!! Quel culot!!! A FUIR!!!

Nunca realicé la actividad ya que supuestamente era un guía en español y me asignaron uno en inglés el día de antes. Le dije que no teníamos nivel de inglés para hacer un recorrido histórico en un museo y que no era lo que habíamos reservado y básicamente me dijeron que no había disponibilidad.
