Excellent guide and driver for a great tour of Luxor

Our guide, Abdelhameed Yosry, and our driver, Amr, worked to provide a full day of comfortable activity for us. Our guide was very friendly, confident, knowledgeable and clearly eager to help us enjoy our tour. We were led through the crowds and situated where we needed to be to have the best experiences. Amr was a great driver in the challenging traffic. He was courteous and thoughtful -- opening doors, slowing down, opening widows for picture taking and providing a snack late in the day. We recommend these men and this tour.

You probably won't get to Luxor. I think this company is a scam.

I booked this months in advance. 36 hours before we were to leave, the company cancelled our trip because they couldn't find plane tix cheap enough. I will likely never see Luxor because of this company.

VERY Misleading & Disappointing!!!

This tour was extremely disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable in many ways. The vehicle provided was absolutely disgusting and smelled very badly. It was difficult to sit in and even harder to feel safe in. Several seat belts were not working, including the driver’s seat belt. There was no air conditioning at all, which made the long drive unbearable. To make matters worse, the driver did not speak any English, so communication was impossible, and he was constantly on his phone texting and calling while driving. Our tour guide, Mo, was the only positive aspect. He was polite, professional, and did his best. However, the tour itself was very misleading. It was advertised as a private tour, but it was not private at all—we were grouped with other people, 12 of us in total. At several major sites, including Luxor Temple, we received little to no explanation or guidance during the visit. I made this reservation about six months in advance and paid weeks ahead of time. Despite this, the tour agency did not purchase our plane tickets until just two days before departure, when availability was extremely limited. As a result, we were picked up at 3:00 am to get to the airport and didn’t return home until 1:00 am the following day, making for an exhausting and unnecessary ordeal. We were also promised a 3 star hotel to relax in before our departure, but what we received was nothing more than a dirty, disgusting motel. It was completely unacceptable and far from what was advertised. While lunch was included, it didn’t even come with basic drinking water, which is unacceptable given the heat and length of the tour. To top it all off, at the end of the tour our driver was over 20 minutes late, nearly causing us to miss our flight. We truly loved seeing the beautiful temples and historical sites, but this entire tour—especially the Luxor visit—completely soiled the experience. I would not recommend this tour or company to anyone.

Amazing tour. Amazing tour guide. Logistics could be better. Essra was amazing! Very knowledgeable, asked me what I wanted out of the tour to ensure. I got what I wanted out of the tour. The driver in Luxor was always there with smile, when it came to transfer to a different location. The issue is the tour ended at 3pm, but the flight back was 9pm. Day use is arranged at an “Ok” hotel. Also I think when you click on availability the tour group checks availability. It wasn’t until after 3 days being booked, I was informed there were no flights with availability on the day I picked. I was lucky to have some flexibility, but others do not. Arranged pick up and drop off, found out after booking there was an additional charge for the hotel I was at, but I had been refused several times due to this and finally found one that accepted my hotel, but I guess only with the extra fee. When being picked up, the driver messaged me stating he would be at the gate to meet me. What that meant is he would be outside the airport and we will walk to the parking lot. Then the driver forgot his airport entrance ticket and we had to park for 20-30 minutes while someone brought it to him so we could exit the airport. That and the fact the flight was delayed added a layer of stress that wasn’t needed. So even with all the issues……. would I recommend this tour…… 100%. Don’t miss this! If you can do this…… DO IT! The only real regret I would have had is if I skipped this tour…….It was definitely worth it

Flights not guaranteed

After booking an available next-day tour on Viator, I was contacted by the operator stating that flights are no longer available and was offered to postpone. Viator shouldn’t offered tours that they can’t guarantee. Additionally I noticed that while the description said the tour started at 6am and estimated 14 hours. Based on the flight scheduled the and time you have to get up for airport pickup (4am) and return flight (10pm at your hotel), this is more like an 18 hour event from door-to-door. Both Viator and the company receive we helpful as I was able to request a refund after contacting Viator via chat, and had no issues with the refund approval. 3-stars for the varying inaccuracies in the tour duration and availability.

Aladdin was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and informative. Very friendly and helpful. Honestly if want to learn a lot, take this tour with him, he is the perfect person. He was very patient and took us BEAUTIFUL pictures!!!! We highly recommend him!! We had the best experience. 1000 stars to him ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.....

Luxor day tour

The tour was great in that we got to see a lot in a short time. Our guide Aladdin was full of informative knowledge on the Egypt’s history. He was humorous. He also gave us time to explore in our own which was nice. The driver was also wonderful. Marena, contacted us via WhatsApp with information for the day and set us up with our to/from Cairo to Luxor flights. She was always available to answer our questions.

The tour was fantastic! I was picked up at the hotel and airport on time. The tour guide Mreit was great, she was extremely knowledgeable, professional, patient and kind. She answered all my questions and more. The food also was delicious! Highly recommend this tour.

Tricky tour operator

I paid it in 21 February for a trip on 13 april. I asked the tour operator several times if everything is okay, the flight tickets are sure? I send them everything necessary details. They told not to worry. 1 week before the tour they asked again the passport details that I earlier sent. Then nothing happened, they didn't contacted me. The day before the tour I wrote them for information about pickup time and other details. They told they still arrange. At 22:30 they wrote we won't have the fligh tickets so we couldn't go to Luxor. Do not choose this company, it is absolutely not sure you will travel if you pay. I am waiting for my 850$ back.
