Such an amazing experience. We were lucky enough to have Oscar as our guide. He is so knowledgeable about the marine life not just in Cabo but also had great info about the whales in general. We were promised to see whales. He and Kevin, our captain, did not disappoint. We were fortunate to be in Cabo during the whale migration.

It was the end of the whale season so we weren’t sure if we were going to see any whales. We saw plenty of whales. It was spectacular!!!

5 Stars! Andre was extremely accommodating after a taxi drove over my leg on the way to our whale cruise. I alerted him and he immediately postponed our place on that morning’s cruise. He called back inquiring about my health and rescheduled the cruise for the rest of my family. Super courteous!

We had a wonderful experience on this tour! The tour guide was a veterinarian that was an expert on Marine mammals. She was very knowledgeable and very professional, the driver of the boat was also very professional. We love that they respected the whales and their environment. We would 10/10 do this same tour again!

From start to finish this was a too notch tour, with an extremely knowledgeable marine biologist Oscar! Numerous humpback whale sittings with stellar breaching, and a mom with her baby. So incredibly fun and definitely will do this again when in Cabo!

Booking a whale watching tour with Whale Watch Cabo was a great choice! Josephine and Kevin did a fantastic job locating the whales. We found ourselves far away from all the other little boats but stayed a respectful distance away. As a team they used the experience as a teaching opportunity. Spending time with a small group (our group was six) on the zodiac with a professional biologist made the trip worth it. We listened with a microphone to the whales calling to each other (very emotional) and the free photos Jo took were gorgeous. We were able to focus on the experience rather than our cell phones. Highly recommend this tour if you have a choice in Cabo San Lucas!

This was a great tour—very well organized trip. Oscar our guide was very pleasant and very knowledgeable about whales. He answered every question regarding whales that our group threw at him. We stopped at El Arco for a close up and pictures. We saw many whale breaches, lots of whale tails as they dove deep—it was enjoyable. I highly recommend. Beautiful day on the water.

We saw multiple humpback whales. Victoria was a great tour guide, and our boat captain navigated the sea traffic and waves expertly. No whales were singing today, but Victoria had a recent recording. Highly recommend the tour and I appreciated their respect of the whales, we travelled to multiple spots to try to get away from other boats. Also saw swimming sea lions and lots of pelicans. Pictures are included, but take your own phone if you want videos, Wonderful day, exceeded expectations.

My husband and I went on this whale watching tour in December 2025. It was a nice little group of us with only about 10 people on our boat. We saw numerous whales and had plenty of time to take photos both of the whales and our surroundings. Our guide Oscar was knowledgeable about the whales, and our captain Kevin handled the boat nicely.

We had an excellent experience with Whale Watch Cabo and guides Josephine and Kevin. We saw many whales and everyone got a whale “kiss” when one of the whales came up and blew right next to the boat! A pod of several hundred dolphins surrounded us and were leaping into the air and spinning. What a day!

By far best experience I’ve had. Eco aware, small group (max 10), knowledgeable and friendly biologist who took photos so we didn’t have to and could focus on what we were witnessing…. Just a stunning and a thrilling day!!!

We had an absolute amazing time on this excursion, despite some initial hurdles due to our cruise line. We were scheduled to arrive in port at 9 for a 10:00 tour. However due to a completely chaotic debarking, we were finally able to get off the ship at noon. Whale Watch Cabo was completely understanding & accommodating!! They put us on the next tour with no issues. I highly recommend communicating with them via the app as they were very quick to respond to my multiple messages.
We took a taxi to their office for $10 (next door to the only Starbucks) and then walked along the boardwalk after the tour back to the ship, which was about a mile. The tour guide was very knowledgeable & genuinely had the whales best interest at the forefront, which was important to my nature-loving daughter. She took amazing pictures, which were included in the tour price!! What a deal!

Our excursion was rescheduled due to too much wind. But we went the next, and the weather was beautiful. The experience was great in every aspect. The weather was perfect the boat size allowed quick mobility to follow the whales but the crew was ultimately what made the experience the best it could be as they were engaged, knowledgeable and made us feel like they were enjoying the experience as much as we were. Remember they do this 3 times a day so staying that engaged each and every time shows their love for what they do and their willingness to make sure we have a great time. I highly recommend the experience.

Our trip was amazing in every way. Giselle our marine biologist was wonderful in explaining everything that was going on for the entire trip. The zodiac was comfortable and fast. We left the other boats behind so when we saw the whales there were no other boats. We saw so many grey whales; humpback whales; and even a mama and baby on our way back that was breaching so we stayed there for awhile even though we were heading back! Most amazing time!!

This was one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had!! I would have been perfectly happy with the first few whale sightings at a moderate distance, but then two whales approached our boat and played with the boat for what seemed like 15-20 minutes. They swam under the boat and came all the way up to it and touched the side. My sister was able to reach out and touch a whale’s tail at one point. We understand that this was a very rare experience and they don’t normally come right up to the boat! Our guide Payo and captain Kevin were both wonderful!!

We had such a great time on this small, intimate journey. There seemed to be just one other group and one other solo traveler plus our group of 3. After communication with another boat to find out where the whales were, Kevin piloted the boat masterfully straight out to a pair of humpbacks! Dominique was such a lovely guide with so much to teach us and was also willing to answer questions and talk about our cetacean-related interests! What a perfect afternoon!

The trip was perfect, nice small group size and the zodiak allows quicker maneuvering than other boats. The priority was protecting the whales and we did that while still seeing a ton of them. Great company with the right focus.
