The meeting point is located along side the Marina in the API building. The office is number B-20 and has a brown sign above the window. If you locate the circle of surf boards at the corner and walk in the direction of the bay, the building is tan and located on your right hand side.

What a great experience. The tour guides were amazing and shared information about Cabo history as well as whale and marine behavior. This group is very conscious of whale safety and respectful to their environment and surroundings. We followed a trio of whales for many miles which was beautiful and tranquil. Would definitely do it again!

This was such a great day! We saw several whales and learned so much about whales and marine life in the area and the zodiac was fun!
We waited for this experience for 3 hrs and only got a cancellation advise after 3 hrs of waiting, Very poor customer service both by Viator and provider. You ruined my vacation
Easy meeting spot, comfortable boat and knowledgeable guides. We lucked out and spotted a pod of False Killer Whales as well as Humpback.
Pepe was a very knowledgeable guide and we had such wonderful luck to see pods of whales… many. Several breaches very close. All in all a very memorable day. Use those company!!!!
Went with my family and we had an amazing experience. We saw tons of whales, full breaches, etc. Our guide, Pepe, was excellent. Very passionate about whales and shared so much great info about them. We even saw the cutest sea turtle up close. Highly recommend!
The experience was incredible! We saw at least 15 whales. The guide and the captain were very knowledgeable and engaging as well.
I can’t imagine a better experience. It was truly amazing. We found some whales that were incredibly active, teaching a baby to breathe and jump. And the snorkeling was great, too. Our guide and captain were so pleasant and knowledgeable. Excellent experience!! Photos are included, don’t have them yet but can’t wait to see them!
A great time out on the water. Just our family of four and we were able to see 10 whales including one breaching many times. The kids loved it and the captain and guide were great about pointing out different beaches and landmarks and very knowledgeable about whales.
Absolutely unbelievable!! Everything we imagined. Raz and captain were the best. We saw so many whales during our trip. It was great to have someone take the pictures for us. The zodiac is the only way to do this trip. It turns on a dice, fast, super smooth, gets you away from the other boats. I can't say enough good things about this team and trip
Guides were educated but never really got close to the whales. We were also supposed to get pics and videos from our trip…we never received them. There’s several whale watching companies in Cabo…I’d suggest going with a different one.

Thanks for sharing your feedback—I hear your disappointment about not getting closer to the whales. In Mexico, our whale-watching permits require us to follow strict distance and approach rules, and our guides are trained to put the animals’ safety and respect first. We have to abide by those regulations to keep our government permits, so we don’t maneuver closer than we should.
On the photos: everything from your tour has already been sent out, and I don’t see a pending request or email from you. If you didn’t receive yours, please reach out to me directly and I’ll make sure you get them.

We had a great time! I appreciated all the info about whales we got. I also loved that we were respectful of the whales environment. Cammie was wonderful! I do feel like a whale ambassador now.
The guide and captain were extemely knowledgeable about whales. We saw plenty of tails, jumps and breaches. Definitely safe and easy to find.
Raz was very knowledgeable about the Whales & Cabo, also Professional and Friendly!
Jose(whale whisperer) navigated the boat expertly to find the whales, also dolphins!
It was great to see the humpback whales so close and do it in a respectful manner for them. I would definitely recommend.
Our guide Pepe was passionate and knowledgeable and we saw more than a dozen whales. The experience exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend. The weather was perfect, and the small boat allowed us to get up close to the beautiful whales. We look forward to coming back and booking this excursion again.
Really easy to find the meeting spot. If on a cruise, only 2 minute walk. Small boat was perfect for a few groups. Pictures came about a week later and that was nice to not be trying to get all the photos (they have a nice big telephoto lens). We watched several groups of whales. Amazing natural behaviors.
The journey is really good! We saw several whales jumped before us. The guide and captain are really enthusiastic to the whales!
Meeting place has no name on the window. We found out from other vendors that they would come to pick us up there. Other boats got much closer, some too close. We would have line to be a little closer.
Fantastic time, Pepe and Jose were very knowledgeable and were extremely passionate about the trip. Had whales all around us. And even had two that hung out underneath the boat.
Also I forgot to mention. My wife and I were the only ones on the trip. But that made no difference to the crew. They put out 150%. Just to ensure we were happy
We saw so many whales I lost count easily 20 to 30. And as a final good bye had one do a full body out of water breach.
This was a birthday present for me. One I will not soon forget.

This was definitely an experience we won’t forget. We followed 2 whales, saw one breach. Another sprayed us then swam under our boat, and Raz was just as excited as the rest of us. Raz is a wonderful guide with a lot of passion for his work. Loved every minute.
Great experience. Hosts were very informative and well versed on whale knowledge. Saw lots of whales both from afar and right next to the boat as well.
Many workers in the marina had never heard of Baja Viking. It was helpful to have the information about the circle of surf boards in order to find their meeting point. The zodiac was perfect. It was a rough day, but with the cubbies for bags, my stuff stayed dry. I loved that when heading out our guide Razz said, “We are going to find our own whales”. And that we did. No other boats to compete with or stress out the whales. Captain Pedro was fabulous. We saw multiple breaches, marlins, and flying fish. Razz did the whole trip in Spanish and English. Plan to take your own photos or share with other participants. Razz took photos of us at the arch but not any of the whales. Would totally use this company again. Thanks for the fun afternoon.
We took the early morning tour in late December when whale season is approaching peak. The tour left promptly from the marina in a zodiac boat that was fast and a comfortable ride on smooth waters. Our guide and captain were friendly, knowledgeable and just as excited to spot some whales as everyone else on the boat. We were able to track around 12 whales along the coast and were fortunate enough to see one breach the water close to our boat; we also saw sea lines, sharks and dolphins.
Great guides, big whales 🐳 (and dolphins and airborne thresher sharks) time alotted is the right amount
Mario Gomez was amazing! He knew all of the right places to see so many whales and was very knowledgable. He obviously loves his job. Would definitely recommend touring with him!
This was absolutely worth it! Going to several different locations, being able to be quiet so that we didn't scare away any whales, small group, excellent guide in Ramual, and great driving the zodiak by Pedro- incredible experience!! Also saw dolphins, a sea turtle, several sea lions and seals. highly recommend!
This was our second whale-watching tour this week and it truly was exceptional. (Our first tour was on a large party boat with breakfast and drinks, so quite a different experience.). Captain Pedro took the inflatable out to the Sea of Cortez for a better ride and away from the traffic. There were only 4 passengers this morning, although they take up to 16. Guide Mario was very passionate, knowledgeable about wildlife, and a great communicator. He brought out “the spy”—a drone which allowed him to tell us exactly where the whales were. He could see when they were approaching the boat and when they were about to surface. He lowered a hydrophone into the water so we could listen to the whale songs. We had a mother and baby playing around the boat for a long time—they were obviously comfortable around the boat. Mario is also a photographer and his photos from the excursion are included with the price of the tour. The couple on our trip enjoyed it so much they signed up for a next-day repeat.
The trip was very exciting and the guides were great. We saw many whales and were so happy. We were able to be in the moment knowing that there was a professional taking the photos.
The poor rating is because we never received any photos. I tried to reach out to the local business but got no response. Sadly, we have no photos of our adventure.

The whale watching was the most amazing experience of our life time. Our Captain was knowledgeable and was educational about all the habits of the whales. He was respectful of their habitat as well as trying to give us an incredible experience. We saw numerous whales with their babies and saw whales jumping. I would recommend it highly.
