Beautiful bike ride through Budapest

Danny, our tour guide was fantastic. He was informative and enthusiastic about Hungary’s past and how it tied into all of gorgeous historical buildings. The bike ride was the best bike tour we have been in and the city is incredible. We visited almost everywhere. We are first time visitors to Budapest and I highly recommend this tour. It is absolutely safe and 99% of the ride is flat and in bike lanes where there are no cars. We have several stops and if needed you can purchase water or food. I recommend bringing a water bottle and an energy bar if you take the 10am tour since it goes past lunch.

Water is provided during the tour, but we encourage everybody to use refillable bottles to save the word from plastic waste. Katy was a great guide, very knowledgeable about Hungarian history and culture. Whoever in the company drew up the route should exclude going over the chain bridge. The bridge is so narrow with buses going in both directions and no bike lane. Just crossover turn around and come right back is too risky. It’s hard enough navigating cars, city trains, other bikes and pedestrians on the city streets.
