We had a very pleasant experience taking this shuttle service from Bayeux to Mont St Michel. Our driver was friendly and informative in preparing us to navigate the shuttle service, village, and abbey. The ride was comfortable in a late model van, and we had great conversation with the driver and other passengers. I would recommend this one to my friends.

Traveling with my husband; the abbey has been on our bucket list. It was not a disappointment. Our guide, Noemie was exceptional. She gave us a smooth ride during which she supplied a great deal of information. I highly recommend this tour.

Well worh the trip! Spectacular place with MANY stairs to climb to the Abbaye! Take your time. Go early as it gets way to croweded.

Rosemarine was our tour guide. Great personality and lots of fun. We traveled through the French countryside as well as the highway and was safe and sound both ways. Timing was just right to tour the Abbey, lunch, and hit a couple of souvenir stores. I am an American living in Normandy and I took the tour to recommend to my friends who visit. Highly recommended as I could sit back and enjoy the trip with my friend.

Pick up point in Bayeux was easy to find!
The driver was great and gave us some historical information along the way.
Time spent at the site was perfect, lots of time to see everything, have lunch and walk back to the parking lot (or you can take the shuttle)

We had a well organized experience. Our driver was great! Margaux was a very informative person. We enjoyed the trip having her as our driver. Besides visiting St. Michel, as a resident of Bayeux, she could answer many of our questions. Company would be smart to keep her.

Be prepared to walk up several flights of stairs. 4 hours is sufficient time to explore Mont St Michel. Go early to avoid the crowds. If you have sufficient time, the walk back to the visitors center is enjoyable, about 2 miles.

Ride was great. Margaux was great and had excellent tips for a more enjoyable day. I don’t know about other times of the year, but August is a bit chaotic. It’s a great place to practice your patience! But the chaos was minor compared to the beauty and history. Would go again… even in August.

Wonderful UNESCO world heritage site that unfortunately suffers from being too popular with the sightseeing public. The hordes of people detract from the experience. Getting there early and leaving early is an advantage of this tour. Margaux a great driver who helped us catch the shuttle that takes one from the remote parking lot to the base of the entrance at the base of Mont St Michel.

It is basically a ride to Mont St. Michel, not a guided tour but this is what we wanted. Margaux was especially helpful to me because I needed additional assistance. I would say not to go in the summer. Very crowded. But it is beautiful.

A must see. The van ride from Bayeux was a little more than an hour however the ride was very pleasant. It gave us a chance to see more of the beautiful countryside.
Once inside the Mont there are a lot of steps that can be quite steep and uneven. There isn’t always a railing to hold. If you have mobility problems that could make the visit difficult.
Our driver Margaux was absolutely delightful. She offered a lot of insider tips and was full of information about the area. She is a gem!!

The tour guide was excellent. Unfortunately the weather was not. It was difficult to get a complete appreciation of Mont Saint Michel in the pouring rain. However what we managed to see was impressive.

Wonderful location, amazing history. Be aware of wind gusting, have a an appropriate jacket in wet or cold conditions. The shuttle works well and drops you off approx a 100 metres from the Mount.

Easy pick up location in Bayeux. Guide, Margot, was on time, shuttle very comfortable. Parked close to tram to get to Mont St. Michel. Explained where to get meet for pick up, food and even joined us on tram ride to Abbey. A sight to be seen! But know that the walk is very strenuous, with many stairs. Very happy not to have been on a tour so we could walk at our own pace.

Our driver introduced himself as Camille.He helped us find parking nearby. He gave us an informative commentary on the drive to Mont Saint-Michel and we had some very nice conversations with him. It made the drive go by quickly. At Mont Saint-Michel, he stayed with us all the way to the shuttle and was present to meet us at the scheduled time/place when we were finished. Overall it was an excellent experience and we highly recommend it.

The trip was comfortable, the van was just right and our driver from Bayeux Shuttle was kind and gave us just the right amount of quiet and some great tips or sights along the trip to Mont Saint Michel! She also advised us well to head right to the Abbey, and made sure we were all comfortable on the way home with some sights along the way. Better than I expected!

The drive to the destination went thru the French countryside thru town occupied (and some destroyed) by the occupation. Beautiful ride. Great guide, Roma, who was insightful, extremely pleasant, and a good driver.
The tour of Mont-Saint Michael was delightful…abit off an uphill walking challenge for some…but a beautiful French historical landmark! An overall excellent experience!

Mont Saint Michel is beautiful. We got there early enough before the big crowds came. Our trip was more of a shuttle drive service than tour but it was great and efficient. It is about an hour and half from Bayuex. We got there around 9:40-10am and were able to look around till about 1:30 then we headed back.

Comfortable shuttle! Beautiful drive! Really took the stress away of figuring out how to get there ourselves. Gets really crowded so I recommend a sandwich shop instead of a restaurant and eat your food on the beach on your way out! So pretty!

The ride to Mont St Michel was quiet but welcome. Our guide set us up with our tickets and directions to the site and we were on our own. Once past the touristy stuff, wandering around the Mont was great, but the guided tour through the church was a bit much on architectural history. We allowed enough time for a quick lunch and a leisure stroll back to the visitor center. We were glad we did this!

We were so pleased with everything about this tour. The pick up was easy (8 am). The ride to Mont Saint Michel in the minivan was comfortable, if a bit long (~1.5 hours). John, our guide, had a great spirit and created an excellent atmosphere. After we parked, he showed us where the free rest rooms were (important!) as well as the rendezvous point and told us some of the basic facts about the Mont Saint Michel. He then walked with us to the beginning of the walled city and let us explore on our own. But not before he gave us a number of pro tips about how to avoid the crowds at the abbey (go up to the abbey at top via the ramparts first—get there before the crowds!) and get food (buy a take-out sandwich on the way down at one of the many sandwich shops and eat it on the rocks on the bottom outside of the city). Everyone was back at the rendezvous point on time and we were back in Bayeau a little after 3. Perfect!
